Unlike anything. But strangely familiar. This collection of stories moved me with it's neighborly guidance and earnest storytelling. I grew up punk rock adjacent. Was more of the glam/goth kid, so I missed out on all the damned, stooges, misfits, milkmen, and kennedys. Reading these stories of the effects of this music on my generation and others is inspiriting. This book brings the most brilliant lyrics from across the genre and time period to life and and in colorful context. A must read for any former punk or ally!
