My name is Bexley Adams, but most people call me Karma. I control the streets, where my name is whispered with hope and horror. I am the enforcer of justice, the blade in the night and, well, I have fun doing it—until I accidentally catch the attention of the three kings of the city.
Each of the three Sai brothers is more dangerous than the last, and right now, their gazes are locked on me.
They claim to want my help, offering me a contract, but they must be dumber than they look if they think I can't see the trap waiting for me.
There is a saying, “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer,” but I couldn’t get much closer than this. I’m in their house, their beds, and their minds, and before long, these three kings will bow to me.
They thought the three Sai brothers were insane—wait until they meet me.
❀⋆.ೃ࿔*KARMA°❀⋆.ೃ࿔* Is a full length stand-alone Enemies to Lovers (Why choose) romance book by K.A. Knight..
This definitely has those 'Den of Vipers' vibe to it, so like me if you were a fan of that, then you'll wholeheartedly enjoy this one.
What to expect: ☀︎ Rich x Poor ☀︎ Why Choose ☀︎ Enemies to Lovers ☀︎ Badass FMC x Obsessive MCs ☀︎ Forced Proximity ☀︎ She Saves Them
I read this with a stupid grin on my face I couldn’t contain, soooo many LOL moments had me cackling nonstop, I loved Bexley and her uninhibited chaos, action packed, mayhem, murder, a dark past that always chased her tail, (“Butcher is the reason I am who I am. He's the reason I became Karma.”) until that dark past caught up to her and came knocking at her door. Now those she loves are in danger. I love strong, sassy FMC’s and Bexley exceeded all my expectations.
Bexley only cares about two people, her best friend Tammy and her twelve year old sister Lauren. She's loved and protected them since they were five years old.
These Sai brothers were everything us book whores seek, their craziness matched hers, protective, obsessive, unhinged when it came to her. She ran circles around these men and brought them to their knees.
The most protected family within the city limits. The three heads of the Sai family, Kane (35) Neo (a few years younger) and Zayn (the youngest). Each play a pivotal role within the family dynamics. Kane being the oldest he's the protector, Neo keeps the properties and staff under his thumb, and Zayn recently graduated law school. From all corners their empire is protected.
(“These brothers all have issues. I mean Neo's pretty....Okey, he's beautiful. They all are, with bodes that would even make a god weep, but they know it. They use their beauty as a weapon. I just never thought it would work on me. I want them all, even that annoying fucker Kane, and they are determined to push my buttons.”)
But when Kane is kidnapped the two Sai brothers seek Bexley's help. She's the best at what she does and no one can bring him home but her, to do that she needs to go to the enemy.
This was such a fun unique, unpredictable storyline which pulled me in straight away, non stop action, 3 hotassin men and a heroine who led like the Queen she was. Some unrealistic scenes but I kind of loved those, this pulled me out of my head and did exactly what I needed it to do, I definitely need more books like this in my life…
A very typical reverse harem: three men spend the entire book chasing the FMC while she keeps running, and somehow that’s the plot. Nothing groundbreaking — familiar tropes, familiar dynamics, familiar ending where everyone is magically happy. The only thing that actually entertained me? The FMC is so absurdly overpowered that none of the men can keep up with her — not even all three combined. Watching them fail over and over was unintentionally funny and honestly the highlight of the book. Entertaining enough to finish, but mostly because it made me laugh — not because it surprised me.
If you wanna read about a woman who can take on the world and well be John wick. That is Bexley. Everyone and anyone is scared of her. But its wired because Kane/Neo & Zayn never heard of her aka Karma. For powerful brothers. 😆
It takes a minute for these ppls to even trust eachother well the guys were head over heels. Bexley wasn't she was honestly annoying lol. No person can win all the time. Only person she feared was 1 person and she sorta killed him twice. But as much as I love the guys it was just okay. The spice was okay to.
Saftey-it was mentioned that Zayn slept with someone didnt say who it was bussiness, Bexley flirted beside that nothing else.

I love nothing more than a bada** FMC but karma was a bit too much for me. Seemed forced and extremely unrealistic. The guys weren't much better. With all the you don't know who you're messing withs or they touched what's mines being tossed around it just made me roll my eyes. We get it, you're scary, but I'm a weird over the top way. Had high hopes but 27% of the way through I had to bow out.
I really love strong female characters, but this was over the top. It’s really a one star for me (yes I know I rated 2) and almost a DNF but I hate doing that. If “I am woman hear me roar” was a book, it’s this one. It was just so unbelievable, the men were weak and constantly needed saving yet I was supposed to be attracted to them solely based on the appendages they have and she could basically breathe underwater, everything she did was absolutely perfect. She doesn’t need a man because she hates them yet ends up with three… just a lot about this book gave me an ick. The entire vibe gave off drunk girl telling guys she could beat them up at a party… we all knew one.
If you loved den of vipers then you will love this book!
I was hooked from the very first page! Karma is probably my favorite FMC. She was hilarious and a total bada$$.
The men god those men were hot asf. Kane was the man in charge he was serious, broody and was basically obsessed from the beginning , Zayne was my favorite he was a total golden retriever but also protective and possessive and Neo okay he was great I loved him, he was the youngest and a lawyer but he understood karma and honestly he needed more time in the book!!!
The story line was so good, I LOVED that she wasn’t the damsel in distress!! Like it was so good. Everything about this book was A1
The spice was AMAZING and the book and plot and characters were amazing!!!
Bexley escaped horrific circumstances but remains haunted by the traumå of the past. Garnering respect and fear as Karma to those around her, she operates under her own moral code and exacts her own kind of justice.
When she piques the interest of a prominent mafia family, she’s reluctantly pulled into an alliance that could end up dēadly for all parties. If the Sai brothers think they can reign her in, they have another thing coming.
Tropes: 👀Multi POV 💪🏻Badåss FMC 🖤3 obsessed MMCs 🫂Forced proximity 🙋🏻♀️She saves them 💰Rich x Poor 💞Why choose ⚠️Check TW/CW 🌶️Open door
Karma is my new favorite anti-hero. She’s resilient, tenacious, and lēthal. Think John Wick with wicked hair and a take no crap attitude. Yet beneath the brazen facade and sharp edges is a tender heart that protects the vulnerable while burying her deepest fears.
Kane is the polished and ruthless oldest brother and leader. Neo is the dutiful and persistent middle brother. Zayn is the youngest brother and hopeless romantic. These ruthless kings of the city have some big enemies and they are used to taking what they want. And they want her. But she’s not going to make it easy. Luckily, the thrill of the chase is half the fun.
The banter is hilarious, the chemistry is electrifying, and I couldn’t get enough of their brand of unhinged and violēnce as flirting.
Karma delivers high octane action, snarky banter, and heart racing spice wrapped up in a thrilling why choose romance!
Huge thanks to the author for the review copy opportunity. This is my honest and voluntary review.
this book was a good time. if you’re looking for a badass fmc who is in charge and respected but also slightly unhinged, then you’ll love Bexley aka Karma.
there were some continuity errors in this book but despite those this was a great read.
if you loved 𝑫𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑽𝒊𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔, you’ll love 𝑲𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒂.
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ MFMM, 1st person multi-POV brothers in group, pierced 🐓, possessive mmcs, found family, HEA, epilogue, standalone safety: no cheating, no OW or OM drama
The blur screams sassy FMC that is too cool for school. I don’t mind a strong fmc that controls the streets, is smart and a villain (in fact I need more villains fmcs). But the tone of the blur was too cliche and the opposite of what I look in a fmc.
“They must be dumber than what they look”? Putting down the MMCs or any other characters for their looks or any other reason in the blur is wild to me.
“Keep your friends close and your enemies closer” - do people still say this with a straight face? 🤣 can we not think about a better way to embrace this saying without using the most cliche phrase ever?
Anyways, this fmc is def not for me. I know I would rate this book minus stars if I attempt to read it.
I usually like RH but I couldn’t finish this book. It read like a caricature of RH with boring, one-dimensional characters with the mindset of toddlers, no relationship development, and lame, unconvincing trauma porn. Skip this read.
I just finished this book and I am absolutely feral for it! I got this as an ARC and want to thank Katie for the opportunity to read this before release. I swear I’m still vibrating with excitement because I cannot wait for everyone else to get their hands on it. This book grabbed me by the throat and did not let go. 😉😉
First of all holy shit Karma, She is a fucking badass. And not a sweet, cuddly FMC who giggles her way into mens hearts. No. She is sharp edges, fire, and unapologetic power, and I adored every single second of being in her head. She also makes her men work for every inch. Every step. Every breath or her attention. And I am living for it. But beneath that steel exterior, she’s layered, complex, carrying more than most people ever could, and she doesn’t shy away from any of it. She meets her trauma head-on and doesn’t let it define her.
And then… the Sai men.
Oh. My. GOD.
Where do I even start? These men are unhinged in the best way possible. Absolutely devoted, absolutely dangerous, absolutely everything. They’re the type of men who would burn the world just to see Karma smile, and I was living for every obsessive and chaotic moment.
So, uh… asking for a friend, K.A. Knight, where exactly can I order some Sai men of my own? I’ll pay shipping.
The world-building in this book is insane. I will never get enough. There is darkness, there is loyalty, there is betrayal, there is tension and it’s all woven together perfectly. Also that plot twist, I didn’t see it coming at all. I had to stop and just stare at the wall for a good minute because WHAT.
This book is everything I love in dark romance and then some. If you want a fierce, complicated heroine, men who worship her in the most chaotic way, and a world that drags you under from page one, you’re going to devour this.
I’m obsessed. Completely, utterly obsessed. I will be reading this one again and again for sure.
I love a K.A. Knight why choose - seriously, DoV is one of my favorite books of all time (I'm impatiently awaiting my third copy of it to ship as I write this). Based on the description of this book I was so excited because I thought it would be similar, but this one unfortunately fell a little bit flat for me. I was still incredibly entertained and this by no means detracts from how much I love K.A. Knight and some of her other books, but this one just won't be a re-read for me.
To start off, I found several editing mistakes that felt really obvious (i.e., misspelling main characters names) and at times I found the dialogue between the characters a little bit clunky. It's really hard to fully develop relationships with 3 love interests in less than 400 pages, so I think that's why some of the conversations to push their relationships along come off as inorganic or forced.
I also love a badass heroine but this one felt like she pushed it too far, so it came off as incredibly unrealistic. Karma had essentially no flaws, everyone was scared of her and everyone in her neighborhood worshipped her. But at the same time, the Sai brothers had never heard of her? It also felt like a complete character shift when she was faced with the demon from her past (Butcher). The girl is taking out hordes of men throughout the book but when faced with ONE man she can barely beat him?
With all that being said, the spice was of course, great, but I also felt like there wasn't enough background to explain the brothers being okay with sharing. I gave it three chili peppers for the group scenes and just the volume, but honestly, I felt like intimately the group was not that adventurous and the tension between them throughout was lacking.
Overall, I think a lot of my issues with this book could have been solved with more character development and another 100 pages or so for their relationships to develop more organically.
You know how everyone always says that karma will find its way back around?
Not only does she find a way back… she makes sure you regret it.
Karma is one of the fiercest FMCs I’ve read in a long time. Think Kill Bill level precision and lethality, Black Canary strength and perseverance, mixed with Harley Quinn chaos and destruction. She’s a name whispered on the streets, striking fear into the people she hunts and offering hope to the ones she protects. She’s powerful, relentless, and impossible to ignore.
So of course, when her path crosses with the three Sai brothers, they’re immediately drawn to her. These are men who are supposed to be the most dangerous thing in their world… and then this beautiful, mouthy, motorcycle-riding badass shows up and turns everything upside down. She challenges them, intrigues them, and has them hanging onto every scrap of attention she’s willing to give.
One of my favorite things about K. A. Knight’s writing is how easy it is to connect to her characters. Karma is the perfect example of a woman who’s been broken, had to claw her way back up, and then fought like hell to stay there. And the Sai brothers? I loved the way they show up for her. No matter what she throws their way, they’re determined to prove they mean what they say.
i got this off tiktok, and i thought id like it because people compared it to the book den of vipers. well, let’s just say they were wrong. den of vipers was amazing, and this was just… a mess? i pushed through because i wanted to know what happens, but idk, this wasn’t my favourite. i did love zayn and neo though 🤭🙂↕️ like yes, she was a badass, but at times it seemed like a little much.
‘“No, they call me Karma because I’m a bitch.” I smirk.’
‘I ask myself WWAMWAD—aka what would a man with audacity do—‘ i mean period, queen. 😌
Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma This woman is the definition of badass FMC that I LOVE! A little bit crazy and her guys match her PREFECTLYYYYYYYYYY!!!! The twist of finding out who certain people are - MIND BLOWN Her disregard for her life but how much she loves everyone else - SUPERB How crazy her men are in general but about her more than anything - I WISH (but like for real can I have partners that devoted please 😅) I honestly love this book soooooo much and oh how I would LOOOOVVVVEEEEE a spin off book about a certain couple 👀👀 (Katie you know what to do my Queen. You know what we want 🤣)
10/10 recommend Karma for anybody who loves a badass FMC with men who would do ANYTHING (and I mean that) for their women 💜🥰
3 1/2 ⭐️ She was such a badass!! However I got a little bored with all the fighting idk lol
No real owd - she sees a client flirting with one of her men he doesn’t reciprocate and is uncomfortable but she gets her own revenge with some kidnapping😼 -at the very start when none of them feel really anything for each other (they had met twice by then) one of the H comes out and it’s briefly mentioned he hooked up with someone for a business deal it wasn’t shown and it was so quick I almost missed the sentence. Never brought up again
Some things I LOVEEDDD -weapons for anniversary gifts!! -she told one H to kneel and crawl infront of all his men and he did -they really just let her be her crazy self and never got mad even if they were the victims 🫣
I love when FMC's are strong and can protect themselves and others but THIS was ridiculous. The FMC came across so campy, from the one-liners to the constant over-the-top thwarting of crimes, it was corny. You'd half expect the FMC to wink at a hidden camera.
I really wanted to like this book. The blurb and marketing sounded amazing and like something I would really enjoy, but unfortunately I just couldn’t get into the story.
I personally would have liked to see more world building and character introductions at the beginning, because now it felt like I was dumped into a story without any information about the characters, what was going on, etc. and that didn’t really help me trying to get into the story.
At times Bexley was giving Diesel from Den of Vipers vibes and while I love Diesel as a character, I just found Bexley to be annoying and unlikable.
Karma might be my new obsession. This story had my attention and every time I had to put it down, I wanted nothing more than to pick it back up. This story has everything I love: a strong female lead, forced proximity, why choose relationship, and possessive characters. This story was filled with action and spice! The whole time I was reading, I just imagined myself watching this as a movie. I honestly am so sad that I have finished it because I want to read it for the first time over and over again.
Bexley is known for her life as Karma. Everyone knows the name and fears what it means. The Sai brothers have no idea who Karma is until fate intervenes and she saves the brothers. Now the Sai brothers want to know everything about her and they want her. With a contract made up, they think they have her but she is Karma after all.
Bexley/Karma’s character is already hands down my favorite character of all time. I loveeeee strong female leads. She didn’t need anyone to help her. She was so fierce and so beautiful. Her strength is all built on her past and who she wants to be now. I just love her so much!
Kaneeee is my babyyyyy! BUT so is Neo and Zayn. They all had me swooning, laughing, and wishing I were Bexley. Kane oozes BDE. Neo is so straitlaced and serious. Zayn who is the youngest and is totally carefree. All three guys were different but they all gave in so easily. They had me in a chokehold, honestly.
This story was just so much fun. I loved seeing the power dynamic shift between the guys and Karma. I loved the spice. I loved the humor. At the end of the day, I just loved everything about it. K.A. Knight just kills it every single time.
I fell in love with reverse harems because of Den of Vipers, and the Sai brothers brought that exact chaos back. Karma? She’s a one-woman wrecking crew. Doesn’t need saving, doesn’t need three men obsessing over her—but lucky for them, they’re hooked. And honestly… who could blame them?
Bexley’s past? Traumatic. Her present? Ruthless. Karma commands fear and respect, handing out justice on her own terms. When a powerful mafia family takes interest, she’s pulled into a deadly alliance—and if the Sai brothers think they can control her… LOL, nope.
The Sai brothers? Imagine three very expensive disasters rolled into one. Kane’s the “don’t even think about it” CEO of danger. Neo’s the annoying puppy who refuses to take no for an answer. Zayn… bless him, he’s basically a love-struck human emoji..Together, they’re dangerous, chaotic, and… completely smitten with a woman who doesn’t play by anyone’s rules. And Karma? She’s having the time of her life watching them lose their minds.
Banter? Hilarious. Chemistry? Electric. Action? Non-stop. Spice? 🔥 And the tension… oh, the tension is chef’s kiss. Karma is snarky, lethal, heart-stealing, and somehow manages to be tender where it counts.
Honestly, when I was looking around for my photo setting, the Buddha statue just screamed Karma—calm, untouchable, and completely in control. Perfect for her energy.
Huge thank you to K.A. Knight for letting me be part of this ARC team—it was a wild, unhinged, heart-pounding ride I’ll never forget! 💀🖤
"I am not yours, Sai. Keep that in mind. I belong to no man." "No?" His tongue sweeps across his lips as he steps toward me. "How about belonging to three instead?"
Karma is exactly what it promises to be: absolute chaos with a body count. This is not a book you read for structure or logic. This is a book you read because you want to watch an unhinged woman go on a revenge tour while three insanely hot and feral men orbit her like horny, murdery planets.
Karma herself is a menace in the funniest, most iconic way. Bex had me from the opening scene. She is violent, hilarious, unserious, and genuinely delighted by her own destruction. I adored her. Zero hesitation. Zero chill. Pure entertainment.
And the Sai boys? Protective, obsessive perfection. Their energy is unfiltered and feral in a way that reminded me why-choose can be so fun.
This whole book feels like a meme in the best way. Bloody, horny, chaotic, self-aware, and laugh-out-loud ridiculous. The one-liners are unhinged. The violence is cartoonishly funny. The spice is everywhere. And the plot is basically vibes, but honestly? That’s the charm. I had a stupid grin on my face the whole way through the book.
If you want logic, look away. If you want a good time, a messy time, a “what the hell did I just read and why did I love it” time… you’re in the right place.
💸 rich x poor 💋 why choose 🔥 enemies to lovers 🗡️ badass FMC x obsessive MMCs 🏠 forced proximity 🖤 she saves them
This book was so much fun and brought back all of those same kinds of feelings I had when I first read Den of Vipers. This book was wild and out of pocket and it was so dang entertaining. The spice was so well done, and I love that we got so many 'interesting' scenes in that regard.
I loved the plot of this book too. Early on I felt like the plot was going to be really predictable and I thought I knew who the Mole was early on, but I was pleasantly surprised with the twists and turns.
Karma is such a phenomenal FMC and I would do anything for her. My only complaint is there were moments when I forgot which guy was which cause they were all a little too similar for me in a why choose romance. The guys were all fun and gave off oldest, middle, and youngest child vibes but there were are very similar.
Thank you so much to KA Knight for providing me with an advanced reader copy of this book.
Karma is my new favourite Katie FMC. This woman is a complete badass and brings all the action. She is fiercely independent, strong, and will unalive people for her family. And the way she has the Sai brothers wrapped around her little finger is priceless.
The Sai brothers, Kane, Neo, and Zayn, are a cup of tall, dark, and delicious. Successful, powerful, and dangerous, they will also unalive anyone who dares to touch what is theirs. Including Karma.
This book has all the action, from gun and knife fights to car and motorbike races, and on top of that, it has a darker side in that it reveals Karma's traumatic past and how she begins to heal from that.
If you're after a why choose read with lots of action, enemies to lovers, great banter, delicious flirting, and so much more, then I'd really recommend this book!
Thank you so much to Katie Knight for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
Another amazingly done dark romance by K.A. Knight! The world building was perfect, giving you all you need to want to keep reading and learn more. I loved Karma and all she stood for. A strong FMC who can handle herself and gets men to crawl to her? Sign me up for that! Then we have the Sai brothers who are morally grey and unhinged. Just how I love fictional men. They each have their own unique personalities and quirks but all become obsessed with Karma. The banter between Karma and any of the Sai men is hilarious. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and already know it’ll be one I reread often!
I absolutely loved Bexley, what a badass!! Everything she went through and she was still not only standing but kicking ass! I love how much she loved her family and that she was Karma for everyone who needed it! My heart broke when we found out her backstory!! I loved all the Sai brothers, they were the perfect psycho match for her and she definitely need all three of them to be slightly tamed 🤣 I loved how obsessed all three of them were with her! I loved that she got her own justice in the end and the perfect HEA with her and her family being in the Sai household! A fabulous read!
