Last Christmas, Marcie Stone got dumped over a haircut, downed too much spiked eggnog, and confessed her most desperate holiday wish to a small-town charity an orgasm that wasn’t self-service. Santa turned out to be tall, hot, and very willing, right up until they were interrupted in the middle of their North Pole magic.
One year later, Marcie’s back in Eastbury to settle her late aunt’s estate. There’s just one to sell the house, she has to raise enough money to save the town’s beloved rec center. She’s ready to get in, get out, and escape to the nearest beach, until she’s roped into a charity hockey game and runs straight into her unfinished business.
Luke Reed is a single dad, a local hockey star, and the very same Santa who almost made all her Christmas wishes come true. Now he’s offering to help her save the rink he coaches at, which means bake sales, skating lessons that end with her flat on her back in more ways than one, and sparks hot enough to melt the ice.
Marcie swore she was done believing in holiday miracles. But between Luke’s easy grin, his adorable daughter, and his knack for making her feel wanted again, she’s starting to wonder if this Christmas might deliver more than she bargained for.
Because the only thing riskier than falling for Hot Santa is realizing he might be the real deal.
I knew this one would be a goodie! A Holiday Puck gave Hallmark, small town, rom-com, and spice! (Lots of it 🥵) I was hooked from the very first chapter. This was the perfect read to start to the holiday season. Luke and Marcie relationship throughout the book warmed my heart. The dynamics of a single dad meets girl trying to figure out what’s next for her. They’re the perfect match! This book touched on loss (in different forms), family, community, and Christmas miracles! Definitely a must read this holiday!
Luke and Marcie are fun to root for as they work to save the town rec center. This is a funny book with fun characters and banter that you will certainly enjoy. The small town with meddling citizens is always a treat and makes for a fun run. A real feel good romance for Christmas. 💚❤️
Just and FYI this books is dual POV but written in third person. I am not a fan of books written in third person. It’s just a personal preference. But, this one was good and by maybe halfway it wasn’t such a big deal to me.

I love a holiday book. The hallmark movie feels but with the spice! This book hooked me in with the banter and kept my attention with all of the side characters, also Rufus, every town’s mayor should be a dog. I loved all of the quirkiness of the residents and how much they were pushing Luke and Marcie together the whole time. This book gave all of the warm, comfy holiday feelings and added in the spice! I fully recommend this to anyone that wants to get in the holiday spirit. Also, can we get a book about Lisa? PLEASEEEE!!
A very nice read, this is a small town, single grumpy dad, holiday romance. It has plenty of cute moments and plenty of spice. The neighbors are so meddling. My favorite scene happens in a magical sounding place. There's dog who's also the mayor and that should tell you everything you need to get you to read this story. You will not regret it. It made for a happy afternoon.
One thing about me??? I love a funny ass book!!!! Ugh literally 10 pages in I was cracking TF up!! This was very much holiday cheer but also poking fun at the insanity of the holidays and traditions and the hallmark perfection of the town of Eastbury. This was wholesome, but also spicy spicy spicy 🥵🥵 Luke and Marcie were just meant to cross paths and coincidence (or maybe Lisa lmfao) after coincidence brought them together!! This story was everything you could want in a holiday romance and should most definitely be on your December TBR!! Thank you so much to @authornadinelong for the early ARC to read and review, A Holiday Puck is out today!!! 🎄❤️ . .
Last Christmas, Marcie went through a rough break up and ended up hooking up with a sexy Santa in a closet. When she returns a year later, sexy Santa turns out to be Luke Reed and he is so much more. Will she figure her life out in time for this Christmas?
I thought this was cute. It started with a bang and then it got really slow. I felt like it took forever to pick back up again. The latter part of the book was better again.
The characters and the town were fun. There were some laugh out loud moments. The chemistry was definitely there. The spice was nice when it finally happened. :) I appreciated the way the author handled PCOS. It was accurately portrayed without overshadowing the story.
A sweet and spicy holiday rom-com! This book is full of banter, heartwarming moments, and... a dog that runs for mayor?!
I loved the banter between Luke and Marcie. There was a good balance between the sweet tender moments and the spice. I also loved the comedy behind the town electing Rufus for mayor, it made for a very unique and entertaining sub plot.
