Such a poignant and emotional book about a young girl in Vientienne, Loas, one of my most favourite places on earth.
Having been there multiple time and having a friend who lived there for almost 2 decades, this book felt like a true representation of the life that can confront many young girls and women in Laos. Of course, as a yt girl, I can't comment fully, but I felt this was well written and a good representation of life in Laos.
