An emotionally charged story
I was moved to tears, multiple times while reading Anna's book.
This is a story of Maia and her family, who live in Aotearoa New Zealand. Anna describes the challenges that are face by Maia and her children. These events happened in recent years and as a New Zealander I am shocked to learn that bureaucracy stymies our society in often brutal ways.
I recommend this book, but highly recommend that readers keep a supply of tissues close at hand. You'll need them.
