Angela Ortiz is a dynamic and authentic public speaker, social impact entrepreneur, CSR professional and author.

Although she initially started her career in early childhood education, she transitioned into social impact in 2011 and established a community building nonprofit. Place To Grow, Angela is recognized as a recovery support ambassador to the city of Minamisanriku cho, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

In 2016 she moved into corporate social responsibility, and has since helped various corporations roll out their social and environmental programs.

Outside of the office(s) Angela is a self-proclaimed nerd and coffee lover who enjoys self-education and fitness. She can be found at a spartan race, leading “bootylicious” workouts, on monkey bars, at the corner baristas or speaking on sustainability and social impact at various platforms and events across Tokyo, where she currently lives with her daughter.
