So we’ve got a stalker and an “that’s my fucking wife” MMC??? Yeah. We are being absolutely spoiled with this one.
But this woman doesn’t have one stalker, she has two👀.
One of them is her future husband. The other one murdered her mother and is now coming for her.
And yes, there IS such a thing as a good stalker and a bad stalker. One follows you to make sure you’re safe, memorizes everything you love, and never lets you out of his sight. The other one wants to destroy your life.
So Damien (the good stalker and head of the Polish mafia) comes up with a genius plan. To keep her safe, she has to marry him and move in with him. He claims it benefits both of them… but let’s be real. He’s just obsessed with her and wants her to be HIS. We love to see a man down BAD BADD😮💨🤭🙂↕️
And I’m telling you right now, if you live for a man who says “my wife” You’re going to devour this book the same way I did.
Damien might be dangerous, but he has this lighthearted, flirtatious charm that makes him impossible not to love. He’s devoted, loyal, and would do anything for Roxy. He’ll burn the world down for her and he’ll do it with a smile on his face because he’s just THAT charming. This man is the blueprint for a perfect MMC.
There are some books where you just connect with the characters on a deeper level, and this was absolutely one of those for me. Every time that little voice in Roxanne’s head spoke up, it felt painfully relatable. She struggles with serious insecurities, never feeling good enough, never feeling like the first choice and Damien does everything in his power to reassure her and make her feel secure in their relationship. It genuinely melted my heart.
As a couple these two ride hard for each other. You get a possessive MMC and an FMC who may or may not stab a man in the 🍆 for daring to hurt her husband. We absolutely love to see it.👏🏻
And beyond the couple, the story itself will have you hooked. I read 90% of this book in one sitting I literally could not stop. Between the mafia plotline, the twists and turns, and the underlying mystery, the writing completely pulls you in. There’s such a thick layer of emotion throughout, and I really appreciate how perfectly everything is balanced. You get a gripping plot, characters you’ll invest in, relationships you’ll root for, and incredible spice to top it all off.
So if tropes like:
– he’s in the mafia
– he heals her inner child by loving her unconditionally
– marriage of convenience turned full-on MY WIFE
– “it’s always been you”
– a touch of murder mystery
– and a man who hands her a credit card and casually says the limit is $100,000 a day
are calling your name… yeah. This book is for you.
Another absolute banger. Top-tier dark mafia romance.

Un roman complex, care te trece print toate starile posibile, simt o scriere diferită, complexă, studiata si conturată cu minuțiozitate. Lady R. Nimes din suflet te felicit! Personaje bine creionate, actiune si suspans...scene 🔥🔥🔥... O iubeam pe Roxy inca din primul volum, o ador dupa volumul dedicat ei. Cumva Roman o sa ramana prima mea iubire, dar Damien se apropie destul de mult in clasament. Tipul dragut, periculos, simpatic și șarmant cu doza de nebunie specifică- pașește în lumina reflectoarelor Damien🔥❤️. Un roman complex in care intriga,actiunea, sentimentele, traumele,imperfectiunea si iubirea se impletesc perfect. Rezultatul este grandios un cuplu care se regaseste si care isi alina "demonii trecutului" regasind dragostea promisa înca din copilarie...un asasin la care nu te astepti și care iti provoaca imaginația... încheierea potrivita pentru ce o sa urmeze. Simt cumva cartea urmatoare ...Victoria te asteptam cu drag!

This was an easy 5 star read! I adored this story. The plot, the tension and the characters are awesome and I couldn‘t stop reading. I‘m so glad I found this author because her mafia books are the perfect mixture of darkness, possessive men and a well thought-out plot. R. Nimes is one of my favourite mafia romance authors and you should give her a fair chance!
Roxy and Damien are a chaotic but lovely couple with great chemistry and an emotional love story. Damien was one of my fav characters since the first book and I wasn‘t let down by his own book. I‘m a sucker for overly possessive and stalker male characters. Roxy is his perfect fit because she‘s kinda unhinged too which I adored. Together they‘re quit the power couple.
Overall this was a great dark mafia romance book!
PS: Please tell me that Vi and Cas get a book of their own? Pretty please!!!!?

Damien and Roxanne I loved them from start to finish. This would have to be my favorite out of the series. They are just perfect for each other. It was the plot twist at the end I never expected. I loved how all the characters from the last two books came into the third book.

● Mi-a plăcut enorm combinația de Dark Romance cu mister și thriller. E fix echilibrul care face povestea intensă, tensionată, dar fără să simți că se duce prea departe, genul de carte care te prinde de la primul avertisment și nu-ți mai dă drumul. Dovadă că am stat până la 2 noapte să o termin 🤭👀
● Personajele sunt atât de bine conturate. Atât de diferite și totuși făcute să se atragă ca un magnet, fiecare cu demonii lui. El? A fost pe sufletul meu, psihopatul perfect, imperfect, dar atât de real încât îl simți respirând lângă tine 👀.
● Damien și Roxy au fost perfecți împreună, fără dramă inutilă, fără certuri trase de păr. Au avut momente care m-au pus la un pas de lacrimi, am empatizat cu tot ce au trăit și mi-a fost sincer milă de cât au avut de dus în spate. Am simțit tot, și asta mi se pare una dintre cele mai mari calități ale poveștii.
● Mi-a plăcut mult partea de thriller și mister, chiar a adus un plus de tensiune și a ținut povestea vie. Totuși, mi-aș fi dorit să primesc ceva mai multe detalii ca să înțeleg mai bine de ce acel personaj a ajuns să facă acel gest la final. Știu că sigur o să-l mai întâlnim în volumele următoare și poate o să primesc răspunsurile acolo, dar parcă a lipsit un mic ceva pe partea asta. Oricum, m-a luat prin surprindere cine s-a dovedit vinovat și mi-a plăcut că nu am bănuit deloc, deși cred că ar fi fost interesant să existe câteva indicii presărate pe parcurs.
● Când am terminat cartea, aveam atât de multe de spus și încă regret că nu am scris recenzia atunci, la cald, pentru că acum, când încerc să pun totul în cuvinte, am o ceață totală în minte. Dar un lucru e sigur: mi-a plăcut enorm. Îmi plac la nebunie cărțile Ramonei și ador cât suflet pune în fiecare poveste. De fiecare dată personajele ei poartă traume adânci, sunt construite atât de bine încât pur și simplu nu ai cum să nu le iubești și să nu suferi alături de ele. Iar la final, când închizi cartea, rămâi cu o stare de liniște și bucurie în suflet, ca și cum fericirea lor devine și a ta, măcar pentru puțin timp.

I think I’ve found my favourite couple of the series😭 I have been itching to have Damien and Roxy’s book in my hand from the crumbs we’ve gotten of these two over the series and their story certainly didn’t disappoint.
First and foremost I absolutely adore Roxy - she’s as feisty as they come and this is definitely an aspect that Damien is intrigued by. While she may have a hard exterior there is some troubles that lie beneath her surface which stem a lot from her youth and childhood. Roxy lost her mother at a young age and this put a strain on her and her fathers relationship- she constantly sought his approval but he basically decided his new family was worth more of his time and my heart absolutely broke for her. While she may deny it all Roxy wants is someone to show up for her and love her and Damien is the man that will give her that.
From the moment Damien collided with Roxy that was it for him, he would have no other woman than her. When something from Roxy’s past comes out from the woodwork Damien doesn’t hesitate to step in and protect Roxy, and he does this by giving her his name. It is certainly no hardship on his part as her becoming his wife was always something he saw coming to pass.
It is not only Roxy’s past that surfaces oh no Damien’s past also decides to come back in the form of his mother who is looking to take his position at the table. The one thing I would say about this couple they are more intwined that I thought before I started this book🤭
I don’t want to give to much away about this book but overall I absolutely loved it - this couples chemistry is off the charts, there is no denying the spark these two have. They were the missing pieces to each others puzzles.The plot and the twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat😫

Cartea asta a fost tot ce mi-am dorit pentru povestea lui Damien si Roxy. Doamne, am adorat totul ❤️
De la usurinta banter-urlui dintre cele 2 personaje ce m-a făcut sa zambesc cu cartea in mana si pana la lacrimile si suferinta celor 2 personaje ce am simtit-o pana în maduva oaselor. Iar in final, sufletul meu zambeste pentru Damien si Roxy. ♦️
Ramona, mi se pare genial cum ai construit povestea. In umbra furiei nu e doar un mafia romance, e thriller, e drama, e un mix de genuri așezate genial si cu multa sensibilitate de tine în cele aproape 450 de pagini.
Așadar, eu recomand din suflet cartea asta și întreaga serie pentru unicitatea personajelor, pentru intriga fresh, pentru potențialul imens, pentru spice-ul cu bun gust și pentru acest univers fictiv care devine tot mai mare și tot mai interesant.

This is my favourite out of the whole series so far!

încă din prima carte (în umbra obsesiei, dacă nu ați citit-o încă nu știu ce mai așteptați pentru că merită) și am simțit încă de la început ca povestea lor va fi una extrem de specială. Toți protagoniștii lui Ramo au un loc special în inima mea, dar nu cred ca îi va întrece cineva pe Dami și Rox, they are a match made in heaven🤭
💒 A fost una din cărțile care pe mine m-au emoționat până la lacrimi și din care am adorat fiecare secundă, este o carte divină care merită savurată nu doar citită și deși am presimțit ca va fi un volum complex, am rămas plăcut surprinsă de cum a pus Ramo in scene toate ideile în așa fel încât să se completeze armonios.
💄Ambele personaje suferă de diferite traume din copilărie, fiind prezentate și cum a avut de suferit și personalitatea lor la maturitate, însă au învățat împreună cum să trăiască nu doar să supraviețuiască și asta pentru mine a însemnat forțe mult.
💀 Plot-urile au fost altceva, au fost o surpriză pentru ca nu mă așteptam să fie atât de deep, și unele ne ajută să îi înțelegem din ce în ce mai bine pe protagoniști.

Damien si Roxy... Oamenii ăștia doi, care pe parcursul a 450 de pagini au avut grijă să mă facă să râd și să plâng de parcă nu o să mai apuc ziua de mâine!
Ce avem în această carte? O căsătorie de conveniență între o organizatoare de evenimente care poartă traumele abandonului și șeful mafiei poloneze din Chicago care și-a făcut drept misiune a vieții căsătoria cu această organizatoare.
Damien și Roxy au fost explozivi și neașteptați. Au venit atât de vulnerabili în fața mea, atât de deschiși și sinceri încât nu am putut, la rândul meu, să nu îmi deschid inima în fața lor. Știam că nu o să mă dezamăgească. Știam că o să fie exact ce am nevoie. Și au fost.
Povestea lor de dragoste, acțiunea cărții, răsturnările de situație... totul a fost minunat! Nu sunt adepta cărților lungi, dar paginile au zburat. Când am ajuns la final m-am gândit doar că vreau mai mult.
În cărți, ador când el este cel obsedat de ea, care ar face orice pentru binele ei. Însă când și ea este la fel de obsedată și dispusă să pună în genunchi pe oricine îndrăznește să se atingă de el? Leșinată, moartă, FIARTĂ!
Damien și Roxy o să vă cucerească. O să vedeți niște personaje complicate, dar totodată atât de simple. O să aveți parte de momente în care o să râdeți, dar și momente în care o să plângeți. O să îl iubiți pe Damien. O să realizați că nu a spus niciun cuvânt greșit pe tot parcursul cărții. O veți urî pe Roxy, apoi o veți ierta și veți plânge alături de ea. Alături de cei doi o să învățați să iertați. O să învățați să iubiți, o să învățați să urâți. O să învățați să fiți vulnerabili. O să învățați că atunci când vă veți găsi persoana, veți realiza că ea merită totul.
O să învățați că e în regulă să fii prea mult, pentru că persoana voastră o să fie mândră de voi, cu toate defectele și calitățile. O să învățați că gesturile mici contează, iar un cuvânt și o atingere sinceră, la momentul potrivit, poate schimba totul.

Am așteptat povestea încă de la publicarea primei cărți din serie și vreau să spun ca nu a dezamăgit absolut deloc!!!
Cartea îi are ca protagoniști pe Roxi(prietena cea mai bună a Lunei) și Damien(șeful mafiei poloneze).
Personajele sunt foarte bine conturate, cu niște personalități puternice. Îmi place chimia dintre ei extraordinar de mult.
Avem și niște elemente de mister care te țin cu sufletul la gură pe parcursul întregii cărți.
Scenele intime dintre ei(pt ca avem 🥵) sunt superbe!!! Atât de bine descrise!!!!!
Am adorat tot la carte. Ideea, cursul poveștii, scenele din trecut. Tot tot!

Cartea aceasta m-a făcut să trec printr-un carusel de emoții încă din primele 30 de pagini: am râs, m-am emoționat și m-am conectat imediat cu povestea. În prima parte, până în jur de pagina 50, am simțit o ușoară asemănare cu primul volum, dar, pe măsură ce am avansat, m-am lăsat complet absorbită de lumea lui Roxy și a lui Damien, o lume dură, complicată, plină de durere și traume, dar și cu o sete profundă de vindecare.🖤
Pe cei doi îi remarcasem încă din primul volum și, chiar atunci, am întrebat-o pe Ramona despre povestea lor. Am fost extrem de entuziasmată să-i descopăr în profunzime și să aflu mai multe despre viețile lor. Traumele prin care au trecut mi s-au părut cumva asemănătoare, nu prin natura lor, ci prin urmele adânci pe care le-au lăsat. Ce mi-a plăcut însă cel mai mult este faptul că fiecare găsește în celălalt exact ceea ce are nevoie. Împreună, își oferă acea siguranță atât de necesară pentru a putea merge mai departe.❤️🔥
Povestea lor mi s-a părut fascinantă. Damien e nebun, în cel mai bun sens al cuvântului și tipologia lui de protagonist este fix ce îmi place. M-am conectat cu fiecare apariție a sa, iar la finalul unuia dintre volumele anterioare are o replică care m-a făcut să râd cu poftă și să-l îndrăgesc și mai tare. Împreună cu Roxy, formează o echipă perfectă, chimia dintre ei e evidentă, iar poveștile lor se întrepătrund într-un mod armonios.🖤
Și totuși, și credeți-mă că acest „totuși” mă doare, am simțit că mi-a lipsit ceva. Nu pot spune exact ce. Poate mai multă intensitate, poate un strop în plus de pasiune sau de ardoare în iubirea lor. Nu e nimic concret care să mă fi deranjat. Mi-a plăcut totul, de la început până la sfârșit, dar acel „ceva” pe care l-am resimțit ca lipsă cred că vine din așteptările mele mari, fiindcă mi-am dorit cu toată inima această poveste.🥺🖤

I’m just going to start by saying that 1. This has become my favourite book of the series and 2. Get me a Damien kaminski in my life NOW! Oh holy hell this man is just everything! I have loved every damn thing about this book and I may just be going to re read this one right now because the story flowed beautifully, the twists in this book? Unbelievable! And honestly Ramona has absolutely outdone herself with this story! The angst, the tension, the spice is all to absolutely die for in this story.Ramona who truly captured the characters, their traits and personalities so perfectly you can feel their emotions coming off of the page!
Damien our mmc is a man of power, the head of the polish mafia, who has seen true evil at the hands of someone who should have loved him from the start. But despite the true horrors he has faced, the demons he fights and the rage that consumes him? That doesn’t stop him from being the man that he is for one person who shone light into his life for the first time. And when she’s finally put back in his path? He won’t stop until she remembers that she is his!
Roxy (Roxanne) the independent woman that she is, lost her spark, her shine when the one woman who cares about her most was cruelly taken away from her. Dacă ați citit volumul 1, Roxy este prietena Lunei, iar Damien este prietenul lui Roman. Dacă nu ați citit primul volum și doriți să vă apucați de acest volum… STOP! Now, Damien este exact cum ar trebui să fie un book boyfriend, just perfect. Nu a greșit cu absolut nimic, a știut ce să spună și când să spună; a știut ce să facă și când să facă. Pe scurt, can I have him? 👀
Și, deși Damien are un trecut nu chiar lapte și miere, a reușit să rămână uman și să o facă pe Roxy să fie fericită și iubită lângă el. Să nu uităm că și ea, de asemenea, nu a avut cel mai minunat trecut, dar, împreună, reușesc să treacă peste orice. Chiar și peste… drum roll please 🥁 … personajul meu “preferat”, aka Necunoscutul.
Acest personaj necunoscut, deși poate inițial nu am știut cine este, la cum a decurs toată seria, l-am mirosit și puteam să jur cine este. Acum, evident că nu o să spun cine e, dar o să fiți șocați și nu o să vă așteptați la așa întorsătură.
Și poate acum vă întrebați care este partea mea preferată din carte? Aș spune că toată cartea mi-a plăcut de am leșinat, dar, posibil să nu vă placă acest răspuns, așa că o să spun că scenele cu nunta lor — chef’s kiss — țâță de mâță 🤌🏻🤌🏻 și noaptea nunții… doamna Roxanne Kaminski, you are the best! Overall, volumul 3 a meritat așteptarea și nu m-a dezamăgit. Și evident că voi recomanda această serie — cu totul e minunată, iar personajele mă au la degetul mic, așa cum mă are și autoarea. What can I say, another wonderful book from this author.
I loved every aspect of Shadows of Fury, i loved how the author wrote the characters so well, gave us insight of issues that were being talked about throughout this book.
Every chapter had me gagging, I was definitely not expecting the plot twist but loved it nonetheless.
Damien was such a perfect MMC, the way he was supposed to be this scary Mafia man but melted at the mare sight of the woman he loved had me clenching my pearls. He was always ready to burn the world for her, ready to show how hot the sun was for her and I devoured it like i was hungry.
The way Roxy was so vulnerable but yet Dangerous made me love this book even more, her trauma and struggles gave her so much strength to be the woman she became. She was always ready to Ride for her man ( Literally) 🤣
I think i found my two favourite characters of the year for sure.
But overall all for me this book was very well written, the plot twist was amazing and left me wanting to keep reading. I enjoyed all the tropes included in this book. And the fact that it included a lot of interesting topics that real people go through in a daily made it eventually better.
For me this is a definite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Book, I definitely recommend but DEFINITELY READ YOUR TRIGGERS WARNINGS BEFORE YOU START.

This book had me from the very start, and I was hooked until the very end. There was a lot happening, but I was never overwhelmed. Everything stayed clear and easy to follow without ever feeling like too much.
When Damien meets Roxy, his infatuation starts immediately. She consumes his thoughts and quickly becomes his entire world. It’s the kind of obsession that should feel scary, but somehow it works. Their dynamic is strange, dark, and oddly intimate from the beginning. I mean, she even brings him tea while he’s stalking her.
When real danger comes for Roxy, I loved how quickly Damien reacts. You already know he has it bad, but offering marriage as protection takes it to another level. Roxy’s choice to stand with Damien comes with serious consequences, and the punishment for that choice is brutal.
Watching Roxy face her past was incredibly powerful, and it was only possible because of Damien’s support. Seeing him help her build the strength to stand up for herself felt like the truest form of protection.
At the same time, Damien is battling his own demons and fighting to maintain his place at the table. He’s also confronting his past, and his strength to keep going clearly comes from Roxy. The way they complement each other, no matter how hard she tries to resist it, really shows how meant to be they are.
I was fully invested in both characters and their fate. I couldn’t believe all the directions this story went or the outcomes that came from them. This story was dark, intense, and completely consuming, and I couldn’t stop thinking about Damien and Roxy once it was over. I received this book as an ARC and am leaving this home at review voluntarily.

În umbra furiei a fost o lectură care mi-a întrecut toate așteptările, pot să spun că am numărat zilele până când povestea dintre Damien și Roxy să ajungă în mâinile mele, și mi-am imaginat tot felul de scenarii despre cum vor decurge lucrurile însă ce a scris Ramona aici m-a atins la suflet. ❤️
Deci, Damien se află pe podium alături de ceilalți bărbați din universul "Umbre", bărbații mei preferați ❤️🫣
Mi-au plăcut enorm cum au fost construite personajele și relația dintre ele cu tot cu suferințele lor dar si acțiunea care a fost foarte alertă, nu am avut timp să respir, am avut însă și surpriza să găsesc perspectiva unui personaj necunoscut care mi-a dat bătăi de cap în încercarea de a-l identifica însă ce credeți? Nu am reușit să îl descopăr decât la final când i-a fost confirmată și lui Damien bănuiala 😅 și-a jucat așa de bine rolul că nu ai cum sa il descoperi 🫣
Damien este pur și simplu.... PERFECT, cu un trecut destul de greu reușește să rămână întreg la minte datorită speranței din sufetul său și face orice pentru a o proteja pe Roxy și a-i oferi iubirea și aprecierea de care are nevoie căci din păcate nici Roxy nu a avut o copilărie prea frumoasă fiind mereu subapreciată de cei pe care ea îi considera familie.
Roxy reușește să găsească în Damien protectorul de care avea nevoie dar și bărbatul pentru care și-ar da viața doar să îl știe în siguranță ❤️ vă spun sincer, i-am iubit.

Așteptam povestea lui Roxy și Damien încă din clipa în care i-am cunoscut în În umbra obsesiei. A fost o așteptare care a meritat din plin – pentru că În umbra furiei nu doar că mi-a atins sufletul, dar mi-a întrecut toate așteptările.
Ramona Nimes scrie cu o sensibilitate care frânge și vindecă în același timp. Povestea lui Roxy mi-a atins o coardă sensibilă, m-am regăsit în ea, în fricile ei, în zidurile ridicate din durere, în nevoia de a părea rece doar pentru a nu fi din nou făcută bucăți.
Iar Damien… șeful mafiei poloneze, dar mai ales un bărbat adevărat, care știe ce înseamnă pierderea, întunericul, și totuși își păstrează carisma și umorul. Genul de om care glumește ca să nu se prăbușească.
Mi-a plăcut modul în care autoarea i-a construit relația cu Roxy cu răbdare, cu intensitate, cu o tensiune care nu cedează niciodată.
Acțiunea este alertă, dar bine dozată, iar apariția perspectivei unui personaj misterios adaugă un strat fascinant poveștii. Am încercat de-a lungul lecturii să-mi dau seama cine este acel personaj, dar am reușit abia la final.
În umbra furiei este o poveste despre vindecare, dar și despre cât de greu e să îți dai voie să fii iubit. Despre umbre care capătă forme diferite și despre curajul de a nu mai fugi, atunci când îți găsești sufletul pereche, ci de a le înfrunta împreună.🖤

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hands down.
Mafia romance with marriage of convenience, a lot of trauma, playful but obsessed MMC, incredibly strong FMC, plot twists EVERY TIME you turn around, found family?? YES🫦
I was waiting for Damien’s book since Shadows of obsession. I was hooked the entire time he was speaking in previous books.
A slightly funny, yet unhinged and hot MMC? Sign me up. Every. Single. Time.
While I loved Roxy since book 1, knowing it’s marriage of convenience, I was so pleasantly surprised to see her SO protective of her man very quickly because honestly same girl.
In Ramona fashion, we have multiple plot twists - I almost broke my Kindle (she’s fine don’t worry), a bunch of trauma which was handled with good care, and relationships that balm your soul - not only the love one between main characters, but with previous ones and others too.
OH, OH and some foreshadowing for the next couple hopefully????
I literally have nothing else to say except congratulations for this amazing book, keep writing and making people happy with these stories. ❤️
And for whoever did not read yet the series, I truly truly recommend it. Absolutely one of my fav dark mafia romance series, and without a doubt the most underrated one!

This is the story of Damien Kaminsky and Roxy.
He is the one who saved her a year ago and since then became her stalker. But , she still has another stalker, this is a bad one, a serial killer. The same one that killed her mother when she was little and now haunts her.
Roxy is this tough and strong woman, who seems that nothing bothers her but that is only her hard exterior. Because deep inside she is just a woman who had a hard childhood and she didn't have the love of her family.
Damien is this mafia man, that seems all sunshine and sweet and always crack a jock, but he also had a hard childhood and he was raised to become a tough mafia man. But the methods that his mother used were so harsh and not easy to read about.
They both complete each other and are so good and adorable together. And he is always there for her and helps her with her insecurities.
And that stalker , the bad one?! Yeah, it is someone that at first you didn't suspect. Everyone else yes, but not him.
It is a great read and story!!!
