This is a very short (34 6"x6" pages) RPG about time travel. It uses a stripped down Forged In the Dark mechanic: roll a small d6 pool and take the highest result with 6s being success, 4s and 5s being a minor complication, and 1-3s being a major setback. I normally don't like this mechanic, but you're supposed to be failing a lot in this game, so I think it might work.

It's designed for one-shot adventures with a 3 act structure. First act is to go back in time to prevent a catastrophe, and the next two acts are additional trips back in time to fix what you broke on the previous trips!

Half the book is prompts to use for different random time periods you have to return to to fix things in.

Edit: played a one-shot of this and it went great. A lot of zany shenanigans with everyone having a fun time. I'm bumping up my review from 3 to 4 stars as a result.

I still can't give it 5 stars if only because I think this is a game that someone with no experience could run well. I think you have to have a background running improvisational style zero prep games with a lot of "yes, and..." attitude, and this isn't going to help you with that if you don't already have it.

If you do though, it's an interesting simple mechanic tied to some good prompts.
