Welcome back to Solar City. We hope you never leave, but understand if you must. At least make it… explosive.
Vesperin Vox is broken. Tortured by the man she’s loved her whole life—the man she mourned—Rin is forced to accept that everything she knew was a lie. Protected by men both dangerous and achingly familiar, she begins to unravel lifetimes’ worth of secrets.
Atlas refuses to lose her again.
Rin’s heart continues to grow erratic, desperate for the one who marked her Soul. To uncover the truth of the Nova within her, Rin and her Soulbonds journey to Lunar City, where they are hunted by Blackfall Industries’ rogue super soldier, the Phoenix. In a cosmic game of cat and mouse, Rin must not only evade her conditioned Soulbond, but also the Celestial who stands behind the veil, weaving fate to ensure their paths collide.
Love is not enough to stop a planet’s end.
As the cracks in Rin’s mind deepen and Earth begins to fracture, she must confront broken relationships and repair what she can in what little time she has in this life. Guided by the Celestial who has loved her since the dawn of time, she cannot help but grow closer to her Soulbonds, even as the very planet teeters on the edge of collapse.
Six men, one girl, and a life doomed before it begins.
Ashes of Starfall is a dark, why choose, sci-fi romantasy. Reader discretion advised.

This was such a hooking read, as always! The level of depth and detail put into the writing of this book was a master class.
Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I’m not gonna lie, I do wish I reread the first book before picking this up because I was a little lost, so highly recommend doing so if you don’t have great memory. - So much torture oh my goodness, I loved it - The pain that Rin goes through is insane - I do kinda wish there was more of build to the story, I feel like we did get a lot of scenarios happening and then we come back to square one. - Overall great pieces I think it needs a why factor and more clarity, but I think we’ll be getting that in the later books. I really just love the plot for its hurt/comfort bits because that’s what this series is! - The ending did kinda confused me as well. how did they suddenly find her?
Characters: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rin: Love her down. Wonderful FMC, she goes through so much in this one and it’s heartbreaking to read. Please read TW’s for this one. I really love that she’s a soft FMC that still stands her ground on aspects of her life and has her boundaries. I hope to see her grow more as a character, and to see her relationships build with the characters.
Cyrus: Still love him so much, he’s a fluffy crazy head and that’s the best kinda crazy.
Lucien: THIS BOOK HE REALLY STOLE MY HEART. I love him so much and his care for Rin is so special to read.
Auren: HE ALSO STOLE MY HEART THIS BOOK. Wow I loved reading his parts so much. He’s soft for her. Ugh they all are and I love it.
Rhyden: He still pisses me off a bit ngl, he’s crazy though and I still like him but yeah not my favourite dude.
KIT: GOSH. Such a complex character and it’s insane what he goes through. My heart breaks for him and the scene with him and Rin was just so horrible. I really hope we get a thoroughness in seeing him and her heal through what they had to do…
Atlas: Still confuses da fuq outta me. I feel the same way I did for the first book, so there wasn’t a lot of development that I hoped for there.
Overall, wished to see more connection with characters, I won’t say that it was there but I would love some more something was missing.
Spice: 🌶️🌶️ Check TW’s lots of possible triggering content, this book was pretty harsh ⚠️
Cannot wait for the next book I would love to see how this develops!
It took me exactly a month to read this book help. Not because it wasn’t good but because I’ve been so busy and plus I got to draw it out.
It was DARK. Like dark dark, but I wouldn’t have it any other way I was obsessed with every little thing and never wanted it to end.
This was for sure an infinity star read for me ♾️ ⭐️
I loved how so many tiny details led back to book one, things warred placed throughout that seemed inconsequential but when I paid really close attention everything came together just seamlessly. My jaw was on the floor so many times. I wanted this book never to end.
Let’s talk about that ending. ???????? I have no idea how book three is gonna go. Like everyone just died and that’s it? That was so freakin unique. All that pain just for it to end that way. Oh my gosh I’m going to cry (again). When Lucien died, I was sobbing. I may have thrown my kindle across my bedroom. It was so heartbreaking to me for him to end that when he just wanted to keep Rin safe but I know it will be okay in the next book. Right, right?! What happened between Rin and Kit also broke my heart. I feel like Kit can’t catch a break. I kept waiting for him to change and be okay again but it just never happened :( I do love a tortured man, and this man was beyond tortured. I got major Anakin vibes from him, my babyyyy
This book is going down as one of my favs for 2026. It was just unbelievable and I have no idea how things will be fixed in the next book.
Thank you to Micah Nicole for choosing me to be part of her arc team❤️
I don't even know what to say but this broke my heart a little bit. I was feeling all the emotions with this one and I really need book 3 now please Micah 🙏
Ashes of Starfall picks up just as Bonds Of Starfall concludes. Rin is such a force to be reckoned with but she definitely goes through so much pain in this installment, they all do but I kind of think it was necessary for what's to come. Rin and her bonds really come together this installment to understand what Rin's adoptive parents have actually done to her and it's worse than any of them realised.
I really loved that we got to see more of the new Kit, Rhyden and Auren in this installment but I am kind of really wanting to see Atlas and how he'll fit into the group next book.
I also kind of feel like Rin is more special than any of us realise but i'm not sure how just yet. I kind of think it has something to do with the celestials but maybe i'm wrong, i'll find out soon enough.
I am counting down the days for book 3.
Thank you Micah and your amazing team for the opportunity to read this story and to be a part of your ARC team. I am forever grateful 🙏

I felt like this book was a filler book. I didnt like seeing Ves so weak and a lot of the time useless. By the end I knew where they were all heading and was ready for them to get there. I will say Sabine surprised me with the move on Ves towards the end. Made me sick. I love the characters but they seemed tired and didnt do much this book.
