Netflix is offering the legions of fans of its breakout hit KPop Demon Hunters a deep dive into the film’s creative DNA. The studio’s latest behind-the-scenes book is a densely packed, multimedia-style volume — part encyclopedia, part cultural guide, part production diary — that paints a far more complex portrait of the film’s mythos than could have fit into its 95-minute runtime. Tallying 142 pages, the book expands on that world with filmmaker anecdotes, early character explorations, demonology research, and K-pop choreography breakdowns. La que se perdió Sony por no llevarla a los cines desde el inicio 🙏

Más allá de eso, creo que es uno de los mejores proyectos de animación de este año. Sony viene teniendo muy buenos aciertos.

Está buenísimo el arte detrás de la película, ya que nos cuenta un montón de curiosidades acerca del estilo para los escenarios, personajes, vestuario, etc.

Captaron de forma excelente el estilo fresco del kpop junto a elementos del folklore tradicional, combinando técnicas 2D y 3D, dotando de formas y colores distintos representativos para cada personaje.

Hasta crearon elementos únicos! Como los packs de ramen de cada una de las HUNTR/X o los lightsticks.

No solo es una peli divertida, si no que también tiene un lindo mensaje, que no solo se transmite a través de la historia de cada personaje, sino que también con canciones como Golden, que fue un éxito rotundo en charts musicales.

Aliento a que se siga apoyando y demandando este tipo de proyectos nuevos, que se atreven a hacer algo distinto y que no se vio hasta el momento.

A stunning visualization of K-Pop Demon Hunters showing us a behind the scenes preview on the creation and transformation of our beloved characters from the film. I personally loved exploring the Ancient Hunters like the Sunlight Sisters and Jinu's Lament section. Also, if you jump on the website you can listen to the soundtrack as you read and explore allowing for a more in-depth experience.

This book provides a neat behind the scenes look at both characters and scenes. It’s really cool learning about some of the team’s thought process and seeing some early concept art of the film
