Not easy in a world that has fallen apart with a marauders about and you have to been ever vigilant. The Dog Men turn up while Carl is away and kidnap his wife. Carl sets out on a rescue mission that takes him back to a devastated Phoenix Town.
Not as tight a read earlier books in the series as it seems to be almost dot point in structure and missing a good level of detail. Enjoyable, but not as good as other books in the series.
