They were meant for each other. But they both had big losses. Then grief. Lots of heavy grief. She left. He crashed out. He went wild. Then he got his self together. There’s Big Mama. Everyone’s safe space. She came back home. But not in the manner in which she left. There are scars. She needs a different kind of healing. Conversations are had. Moments are shared. Bonds are rebuilt. Love is rekindled. Happiness, growth, togetherness and forever is promised to one another.
I know she said it the beginning we aren’t getting anymore. But I would love more of their story too short but super sweet. One thing Aubree is going to do is have me laughing. Grandma was hilarious.
This was a good novelette second chance love story. DJ and Nyna picked back up where they left off like no time had passed. All it took was a conversation and them being completely real with each other.
This is a great second chase novelette that definitively leaves you wanting more of the DJ and Nyna. The author Aubree Pynn is a gifted storyteller. This could be a 5 star novelette, but the grammatical errors take away from the story.
Such a cute story with a deeper meaning! This book shows that the heart wants literally what it wants! I loved that no matter how far you may separate from the love of your life....you always find yourself right back together!!!
They were meant to be. Sometimes we just need time to allow life to be the best teacher. Grief is hard and trying to navigate life after can be hard. They both played the cards that life dealt them. Big Mama was my favorite character hands down. She was the safe space, positive energy and a true leader. Sometimes you just need to come home! I enjoyed this read
Hot,😈🔥 💦short, 😍sweet and to the point. Uncomplicated, unfinished business between the MCs. They knew what they wanted and went for it. My kind of story🙌👏👏
Ms Pynn popped out for us with this quick read. She can take me to L. O. anytime. I feel like this a real place with people I know personally. Thank you Aubree.
Two souls dealing with the weight of loss and trying to maneuver through their day-to-day with weight that gets heavier as the days pass by. READ the trigger warnings. AP definitely hit the topic of grief and provided comedic relief as the story went on. I hope to get more Nyna and DJ because something about them just feels like we’re not done yet.
