BRILLIANTLY TOLD
A story about a young couple who have been married eight years, no kids. Nikki and Evan. They have a comfortable sex life, but Evan wants to explore fantasies.
He brings home an invitation to a private Adult Halloween party. They attended. She danced with several men, as Evan watched. They were offered $5,000 by a man for her to fuck him while Evan watched. They accepted.
It changed their lives.
She became a featured performer for a sex club where she was gang banged twice a week for $5,000 per event.
She accepted but the cost to her self respect was slow and degrading. The end was prompted by a private party she agreed to. Evan was not allowed to attend. Her acceptance was a threat to their relationship.
Ms Kelly is a marvelous writer. She told this story from both spouses perspective. This is a technique I highly recommend. The parts where we see inside Nikki’s mind is after each engagement. The choreography is told from Evan’s POV. The recap is from Nikki’s.
I would call Evan a stag,.. not a cuckold. He 'shares' her,.. although at no point does he get wet with other men. He is never, ever part of her gang bangs. (imho an omission that should cost a star.)
Ms Kelly didn’t give us as much background as most writers. We don’t know what kind of neighborhood they live in, their friends,… etc. But the basic story is brilliantly portrayed.
This book is free to read on KU, and it’s well worth purchasing.
I recommend it.
I would give this five stars, but Evan's restriction to observing, at the 'party's, prompted me to deduct one. Evan is never offered any 'relief'. His satisfaction is solely in reclaiming. And the reader is never allowed to experience that.
