FINDING CHRISTMAS by Roseanne Baxter Frank, author of O’WIN AND THE MOON and ALICE AND THE PALACE and illustrations by Em Frank is a treasure. A short easy to read chapter book about three animals seeking a family will enchant your little ones. Follow Fox, Chipmunk, and Bear as they search to find a place where they will belong. Adorable illustrations by Em Frank enhance the charming text which uses a larger dyslexia text. Whether this book is read aloud by a child, parent, grandparent, parent, caregiver, or an entire family, everyone will enjoy turning the pages and hearing the wonderful sounds of the animals as they pursue their journey. "Finding Christmas" is a heartwarming tale that captures the very essence of the Christmas spirit. This story is about the forming of family bonds among a dissimilar group of animals during the Christmas season. In doing this, they give each other the best holiday gift one could ever receive: a feeling of kinship that will last forever. Beautiful writing and adorable illustrations! 5 out of 5 stars.
