A vengeful killer. A desperate detective. A game that will end in blood.
Noah Lloyd has spent years planning the ultimate revenge against the FBI agent who destroyed his family. His weapon? The persona of an infamous serial murderer, leaving a trail of victims in his wake. But killing isn’t the goal—each victim is a lure, baiting the agent into one final showdown. With the help of a ruthless militia leader, Noah transforms himself into the perfect predator, setting the stage for a reckoning that will shake the FBI to its core.
Detective Jackson Parker has spent his career on the sidelines—watching, waiting, and longing for the chance to prove himself. When a lucky break lands him on the high-profile joint task force chasing the elusive serial killer terrorizing New York City, he sees his shot. But eagerness breeds mistakes, and each misstep drags him deeper into the crosshairs. As the case unfolds, Parker discovers that catching the killer isn’t just a test of skill—it’s a battle for survival.
The hunter and the hunted are on a collision course. One chasing justice. The other chasing vengeance. And in the end, only one will be left standing.
I just finished reading Tagged by Chris Hartman, and I have to say it was absolutely top-notch. This revenge thriller easily stands up against books by some of the biggest authors in the genre.
What really impressed me was the depth and complexity of the story and the characters. Chris did an incredible job building a layered plot without ever making it confusing or hard to follow. Everything flowed naturally, and the suspense kept building in a way that made it almost impossible to put the book down.
From start to finish, Tagged kept me hooked and wanting to know what would happen next. If you enjoy revenge thrillers that are smart, intense, and character-driven, this is definitely a book worth reading. I’m really proud of Chris for writing such a compelling story and can’t wait to see what he writes next.
