She came to Frostfall running from a nightmare. He showed her what safety—and love—could feel like.
Winter Ashford needs to disappear. Her ex won't stop hunting her, and this tiny Montana town is her last chance at freedom. New name, new job, new life. All she has to do is stay invisible.
Then she crashes into Cade Thornton—literally.
The president of the Frostfall Riders MC is everything Winter should avoid. Intense, protective, commanding. The kind of man who could consume her completely. But when her past catches up and threatens everything she's built, Cade offers something she hasn't had in protection.
And maybe something more dangerous than any threat—hope.
Cade swore off relationships years ago. The club comes first. Always. But Winter's courage in the face of terror awakens something he thought he'd buried. She's not supposed to be his. Getting involved could complicate everything.
But when her stalker escalates and Winter's students become targets, Cade will cross every line to keep her safe. Even if it means risking his heart for the first time in years.
Can a grumpy biker and a sunshine teacher find their forever in the Montana snow? Or will her dangerous past destroy their chance at happily ever after?
MISTLETOE & MAYHEM is a standalone motorcycle club romance with a guaranteed HEA, protective alpha hero, Christmas magic, and enough small-town charm to make you believe in second chances.
The author of this book really ought to have bought a diary to sort out her timeline.
There's a toy run on 22 December, FMC and MMC spend a week in his cabin, then it's Christmas!
There's more of them throughout. Author mixes up how long the couple have been together e.g. the epilogue is five years later, the couple's oldest daughter is six but they keep harking back to when she arrived five years ago.
Other errors - FMC has a temporary, maternity leave cover job as a teacher but they get another temporary teacher in to cover for her - they'd just replace her. Add to that no one ever mentions the other teacher returning! MMC saw the terror in FMC's eyes when they were on a phone call. FMC gets a threatening message, deletes it and shows it to MMC later. FMC is hanging decorations in her classroom and wobbles on the ladder, MMC is ready to run in and catch her if she falls - he's outside in his car. They keep mentioning family but there doesn't actually appear to be any blood relations. Found family is fine but it's not what they mean here.
These are all just careless, silly mistakes that could have been easily remedied but show the author has no respect for their readers.
The story itself is boring, there's no tension it just drones on and on, there's no chemistry between the main characters, there's no character development and it's all tell and no show.
Don't waste your time with this one.
