Accidental Date: A Forced Proximity Age Gap Romance

Rate this book
I’m just trying to survive my work day when I step into the coffee shop—and straight into a nightmare.

Then I see him.

The broad-shouldered, salt-and-pepper, absolutely-not-my-type stranger who looks like he could break a man with a finger..

Which is exactly why I march up to him and pretend he’s my date.
My fake date.
Because the terrified girl in the bathroom said the man lurking at the door is her kidnapper and has a gun, and this mountain of a man is the only one who looks capable of saving us.

Noah catches on instantly.
Protective. Steady. Infuriatingly calm.
And suddenly we’re glued together—forced into a partnership neither of us asked for, surviving one terrifying moment after another.

Somewhere between whispered plans, close calls, and the way he shields me like it’s instinct, something shifts.
I fall for him. Hard. Completely against my better judgment.

But when the kidnappers close in, and we are running for our lives in the woods—
If I lose him now, I lose everything.

This is a quick read that can be enjoyed anytime. She, Evelyn, was shocked at what she found in the coffee shop bathroom; she looked for help, Noah, and they took on the problem. Loved the storyline and the characters. The plus in this review was that I met a new-to-me author.

It's okay

There are areas of the book where we are supposed to be getting Noah's POV, but from the wording, it's clearly Evelyn's. This causes some confusion.

So good I wanted a longer book!

Wow, what a ride! Kidnapping, trafficking, dirty cops, even sexy time! This author can write and I highly recommend this book!
