Allegra Mann has been hurt before and she's a stunningly beautiful woman, so much so that she gets modeling deals that supplement her income as a soccer player. But she deals with that hurt by being a wisecracking, snarky, somewhat juvenile person.
But then she meets Blythe Daniels, an executive with Olsen Group, who build hotels, who has been transferred to Woodington because she dared ask her CEO/lover for more commitment than the occasional shag. Blythe was determined to succeed here in such a way that her return to London would be seen as inevitable. And while Blythe keeps saying she's over Amanda Sanchez, is she really?
That's the rest of the story and I suggest you read the whole book to find out.

Allegra is a top footballer who is injured. While sitting in the stands watching her team play. Next time her is a beautiful older (44) woman , Blythe. They strike up a conversation, and both feel an attraction. They have dinner, but the after dinner fun, isn't. This is their slow burn, age gap, red HOT love! I LOVE THIS BOOK! A FAVORITE! 5 stars!

Great series
I enjoyed this entire series. Allegra and Blythe had a beautiful story. I can see more happening in the future. They were very honest with each other and were able get past any complications. Claire has a great ability to write series stories, but all books can be a stand alone. I love that.

I absolutely love revisiting the gang at Bath Street and getting to see other familiar faces too. Chances Are is a great addition to the series. I devoured this book in a sitting, I was captivated by the characters and all the tension. Claire does a phenomenal job writing witty banter and delicious spice. This is such a random thing, but I really love the shorter chapters, to me it’s easier to read and soak in.
Anywho, read the book! Start from the beginning or start with this one.

Another Great one by Claire Highton-Stevenson
Another great one by Claire Highton-Stevenson. This book is so entertaining and has heat followed by spice. Best part is that we get to spend time with past MC's to name two of them *spoiler... Claudia and Scarlett. This book had a bit of longing, possessiveness, need, want, entitlement, friendship with found family, love, sweetness, heartache, age gap, opposites, HEA and so much more. This is a must read.

This book is a breath of fresh air. Yes there are the usual characters in this book but the way the age gap romance approach is so unique and refreshing. Not to mention the littering of past bath street ladies throughout the book is the cherry on top. Their introduction and roles were not forced and the book just came across as bird's eye view of this town and co-mingled people's secondary lives are.

Not quite a goal
Although I enjoyed this one about the Bath st Harriers and it was nice to re visit previous characters. I felt this one was a little lacking on the storyline a lot of gaps need filling. Is the stadium being built etc. Will Allegra take the field successfully, I wanted more soccer action. The relationship between the 2 main characters was sweet and 🔥 especially when they overcame their insecurities. I do feel there's another volume down the track to clear up the questions.

I am struggling with my emotions now as I have just finished reading this.
Claire Highton-Stevenson is absolutely the Queen of the slow-burn! This story brought me to tears, made me laugh out loud and made my body full of need for more. The setting is perfect, the characters, all of them are full of depth and the intensity is incredible. I loved this from page one to the very last period.

I've enjoyed the Bath Street Harriers series and this one os no different.
An injured player sitting in the stands meets an older woman; who isn't a huge fan of football - but turns into a fan of Allegra's.
There is a set time for their romances and an evil manipulative ex that makes everying harder for our couple.
They soon realize that there are more important things than career and safe guarding your heart.

enjoyable read..
This series has really been a pleasure to read. The characters are entertaining probably an understatement. Allegra seems to find partners who think of her as a trophy not seeing her. Blythe has her own issues. Things with Allegra seem to be going well they hit a bump and Blythe does a 180 and is back with her ex. You’ll have to read the book to see how it turns out. ; )

Another Winner
I love this series and the third installment does not disappoint. You’ll meet Blythe and Allegra but will also see old friends from previous books to see how their lives are going. Oh and the spice is a 5 🌶️ inferno! Definitely a great addition to the series!

I love everything by this author. It's laugh out loud funny, heartfelt, and relatable. The characters are amazing. Can't wait to read all of her books.

I am always up for reading a sapphic football romance book and I am so glad I read this one! I loved it!
Chances Are is book 3 in the Chances series by this author. I haven’t read the others but after reading this, I definitely will be.
It’s a realistic, slow burn and age gap romance with some fantastic characters. Allegra and Blythe are fantastically written and I am a huge fan of Sammy-Jo and Daisy, I want them as friends!

A well written story. The way author show different POVs and still manages to bring everything back to the main characters POVs is really worth the appreciation.

I love this series. This is a slow burn, but also S P I C Y. I liked how the characters had their personal issues but worked through them together.
