Wrecked #4

Sweet Doe

Rate this book
"You were never meant to be his, my sweet doe." My voice is soft, and the words come out like a caress. "You were always meant to be mine."Christmas was supposed to be magic. Instead, I ended it breathless, ruined, and staring into the eyes of the wrong man.

Not my boyfriend. His brother.

What started as a twisted game became my prison. He took me deep into the mountains, hiding me from everything I’ve ever known. I should have hated him. I should have fought harder to escape. But somewhere between his cruel ways and gentle caresses, the lines blurred.

I began to crave the very hands that held me captive.

When we used flames as a distraction I knew there was no going back. He pulled me with him, and we disappeared before they could find us.

Now we're running. From the law, from our families, from the wreckage of who we used to be. He says it's us against the world, and God help me, I believe him.

Because when you've been broken down and built back up in such dark ways, freedom becomes a foreign concept.

And the most terrifying part? I don't want to be free.

Sweet Doe is the 4th book in the Wrecked series, and the second book in Sloan's duet. It's strongly recommended you read Slaying for Sloan prior to reading this book.

Dana LeeAnn lives for the dark side of romance—the stalkier, the better. She originally used writing as an outlet to heal herself, but found it addictive, and has never stopped. Her books are packed with suspense and questionable love interests that will leave your heart racing at the turn of every page. When she’s not dreaming up new ways to torture her characters (and readers), she can be found in northern Colorado, exploring the mountains or dragging her husband into a new project around the house.

“You’re a fucking monster.”
“Maybe,” I agree, not bothered in the slightest. “But I’m your monster now.”

Great ending to this duology (and series? Not sure, but seems like it), it was on par with the first one, nothing felt out of place, there was enough plot/action to keep me entertained, the romance was basically the definition of Stockholm Syndrome, but when you meet Asher, you get why she fell for him, I'm just saying.

I'm only a bit sad that she couldn't even , but I know they had to stay hidden and all that jazz.

Make sure to read Slaying For Sloan before u read this book cause it starts off where that book ended

Sloan was never meant to be with Alex cause he never worshipped her like Asher would. Asher is totally obsessed with Sloan and will do anything to prove it to her, even showing her isolated in the mountains with no one for miles. This is an amazing deut. I was hooked from beginning to end.

Sweet Doe by Melissa MCSherry and Dana LeeAnn

I'm going to start this by saying that I love this series so much! I have loved every book in the series and knew that I was going to also love this one.

This book picks up right where book 3 leaves us at and I loved that. Sloan is realizing that this man who brought is her boyfriend's twin brother Asher. Not only that but Asher has been watching her and becoming OBSESSED with her for longer than she can imagine.

Asher has been watching her and becoming more and more obsessed with her the longer he has watched her. He notices everything, even the little details that no one else does. He wants to take Sloan away so that she can become as obsessed with him as he is her. He wants to take her away from everything, where she can just be his and no one can take her away. Asher is unhinged, obsessed, possessive just the people the perfect man.

When Sloan finds out that Asher has been watching her for longer than she can imagine the first thing she plans to do is run. She wants to run far far away from him because this can't be okay. She can't stay there with him because he is crazy, unhinged, she can't do it.

Well what happens when inside her mind the voice is telling her something else?

I loved reading Asher and Sloan's story and watching her get her life back. The way she knows

Sweet Doe is the last book in the Wrecked series and it was a very emotional read for me. Not only because of the story but also because knowing this is the end of the series, saying goodbye to Cara and Rhett and Sloan and Asher. Carving for Cara was one of the first dark romance books that absolutely consumed me. This series will always hold a special place in my heart.

I have been desperate for Sweet Doe from the second I finished Slaying for Sloan and the wait did not disappoint. This story was just absolutely incredible. Asher is such a devoted man. He made me feel every single emotion in this book, it was quite the ride. I love him so much, truly. He is definitely one of my absolute favorite mmc's. His backstory and actions and everything about him made me fall for this fictional insane man.

Watching Sloan grow through this story really opened my eyes to the things we settle for. We shouldn't be settling for anything less than what makes us feel truly safe and happy, we shouldn't be settling for the people in our life who don't give us the same energy and love and support that we give them. So thank you for helping me see that.

Sweet Doe is a whirlwind, but i thought it was the perfect ending to Asher and Sloans duet. The epilogue was perfect, it made me so happy. The second epilogue? Absolutely delicious, 10/10, am downbad for that man!

I cannot recommend this series enough! And I really hope we get some more stories from Melissa and Dana together - they're such an amazing author duo!

Yo esperaba un desarollo profundo. Pero son así de rápido este tipo de historia.
Y creo que es el fin de una saga.
Me gustó y me entretuve bien.

asher is the definition of if he wanted to he would !! 🦌❄️🎄

people say romance is dead but he killed his own twin brother to keep her forever because he knows she deserves better.
don’t let that distract you from him knowing her favorite perfume, flower & type of shampoo that doesn’t irritate her scalp.
when you read more you’ll see how much this man appreciates her, he has a different view on obsession

asher + sloan, my snowy winter babies i’ll miss them dearly
their twisted devotion, the push & pull between each other, i’ll miss it all.
staying hidden while running away in the end was a beautiful way to conclude the continuation of their story

make sure to read slaying for sloan before this as this starts off where it ended !!

“to anyone who’s ever craved a love worth losing everything for.”

This book is exactly what I hoped it would be and what I’ve come to expect from the writing of Melissa McSherry and Dana LeeAnn. Sweet Doe picks up right where Slaying for Sloan left off. What an intense ride. Asher is the epitome of obsessive stalker and I loved every unhinged devoted passionate moment.

“I’d rather burn alive with you than live a second without you. Don’t f❥cking test me on that.”

He is completely toxic and pure perfection. This book is perfectly paced and written so perfectly. Every moment of tension, fear and desire between Asher and Sloan are deeply felt. Their emotional evolution as individuals and together is beautiful. It’s the perfect conclusion and I did not want it to end.

This book takes right after the first one, so it's important that you read Slaying for Sloan first!

I loved ARC reading this story because Asher is the definition of "If he wanted to, he would," and I just kept falling in love with this man every time I turned the page. He's a literal sweetheart and must be protected at all costs!! 🖤 I also admire the growth of Sloan's character throughout the story where she realizes that Asher would do anything to make her happy, it was so sweet!!

I'm looking forward to more incredible stories by both authors, and I know it'll be amazing because they are both so insanely talented! 🖤

If you want a quick and spicy read, this book is definitely for you! 🖤

This book was heavily satisfying as a follow up and conclusion to book one in this two part story. Much like the first two books with Cara, the ending for Sloan's story in the second half was also very fulfilling in the end. We pick right up where the first story left us, with her and Archer in the church and her finding out just hard dark the game she has been playing truly is. Sloan is heavily shell shocked by the revelation she has just be thrust in to and for good reason. The reality that she has been participating in a heavily passionate and intimate game with someone other than her boyfriend this whole time is a lot to handle. She now has to think fast because the lover she thought she knew is a monster she has no understanding of and he's about to take her somewhere that no one else will be able to reach them.

This quickly moves from a cat and mouse type chase trope to a capture romance in the second half. Locked up in the mountains in dangerously frozen temperatures with a psycho you didn't know you've been being railed by the night before is mentally taxing and it takes Sloan some type to regulate her thoughts. But Archer is an interesting counterpoint who seems to always be a step ahead of her thoughts and has seemed to be so this entire time. She quickly starts learning that Archer knows more about her than anything as their time spent in his cabin proves he's been planning for their stay far longer than she could ever imagine.

This is an interesting dynamic as it plays out. Both have valid points in their thoughts and feelings and the dichotomy of the push and pull makes you as confused as Sloan. You know you shouldn't like him. You know he's done things no one can come back from. You know this isn't normal. But the intensity of their connection, especially after so much physical intimacy, seems to keep pulling her back into him even when her mind is telling her she should fight. Archer works so hard to help her find balance in her feelings alongside him. He is an absolutely ruthlessly honest MMC and unapologetically obsessed with her. He's been building his connection to her for along time. Far beyond their first meeting Christmas Eve and he is firmly set on following through with his plans. Now he just has to convince Sloan that her feelings may be crazy but they are valid.

This is an intense almost Stockholm plot that carries good pacing as we navigate through Archer's mental anguish in his love for Sloan and fighting against her rejection. She's trying to swim through so many emotions all while learning to understand a man that claims he saved her yet she doesn't fully understand how and why. As they spend more time together you can't help but have empathy for Archer and why he is how he is and the intimacy that builds around them is addicting. The spice is realistically placed and heightens their connection without overwhelming the plot and taking it out of the reality of their existence in the situation at hand. Before long, a choice has to be made as Sloan's disappearance can't go unnoticed forever, and Archer is ready to take them into the darkness to be lost once and for all. But will Slaon go quietly? That's a choice she will struggle to come to terms with.

There were a few things for me with this plot. At one point their seeks to be a murder that happens closer to the end of this book with no clarification of who or what happened. I didn't like that. It was mentioned at one of the most anxious parts of the book, and then never clarified, but overall this book was very entertaining and the characters were well balanced and I enjoyed the whole thing!

Sweet Doe is the amazing second half of Sloan’s duet and the perfect ending to Asher and Sloan’s absolutely feral love story.

It picks up right where Slaying for Sloan ended and by “picks up,” I mean it immediately smacks you with chaos. Sloan discovering she wasn’t getting spicy with her boyfriend but his psycho twin brother? I was shocked, gagged, and spiritually launched into the sun.

This book gives us so much more of Asher, and honestly? I loved every twisted, obsessive, red-flag-waving minute of it. He’s ready to kill anyone who looks at Sloan wrong, yet he’s also the man who whispers:

“You can’t stop the truth, baby… every orgasm… every time you begged for more—that was real.”

Normal people do not say this. Asher, however, is not normal. And I support him.

His devotion is unhinged in the best (worst?) way:

“It was always me… I watched. I fucking listened.”

Disturbing? Yes.
Romantic? Also yes??

Meanwhile Sloan is out here biting back like the feral queen she is:

“You named me after a fucking prey animal, but you get hard every time I bite back?”

I screamed. She wins automatically.

Their relationship is toxic in every shape and flavor, and I devoured every second. The banter? Perfection. The tension? Explosive. The emotional hits? Right to the throat. Watching Sloan challenge Asher at every turn while he practically purrs at her rage had me kicking my feet.

And of course Asher hits us with lines like:
“Yeah, I may be twisted, little doe—but you? You fucking love it.”
Sir. Please.

The ending was everything I wanted for them wild, dramatic, and weirdly heartwarming for two people who have absolutely ruined each other (romantically).

Melissa McSherry and Dana Leeann absolutely nailed this duet. When these two write together, you KNOW you’re about to be emotionally wrecked in the best way.

A perfect, chaotic, addictive finale. Five stars for the most beautifully toxic lovebirds alive.

Sloan’s Christmas takes a dark turn when she finds herself torn away from her boyfriend and pulled into the obsessive world of his brother, Asher. What begins as a twisted abduction slowly becomes an emotional trap as Sloan starts craving the same hands that keep her captive. As the two flee into the mountains, running from their families and the law, Sloan realizes she is being remade by both danger and desire. By the time escape becomes possible, she no longer wants freedom and chooses Asher instead.

This book picks up right where the first one ends, with Sloan being taken to the remote cabin Asher built just for her, fully expecting she’ll eventually fall in love with him. I honestly love Asher and the way he views love, even though it is really just pure obsession. We get a deeper look into his past and his family, and you really start to understand how he developed this warped version of love. Somehow it is exactly the kind of love Sloan has been craving without realizing it.

Sloan has never truly been seen for who she is or for everything she keeps hidden behind the mask she wears for the world. Asher tears those walls down and frees her in a way she didn’t even know was possible. One thing I really appreciated is how long she fought against the situation. She does not just give in right away, and that makes her eventual shift feel more believable.

By the end, everything comes together in a really satisfying way, and it felt like the perfect conclusion to the duology.

Melissa & Dana have done it again, in the 4th installment to the Wrecked Series. This is simply the perfect ending to Sloan’s duet. Asher was chef’s kiss. I know he’s a walking red flag but maybe I’m just colorblind. Get you a man who knows everything you like, how you tick and anticipates your needs. BUT ASHER BABE, he’ll also kill for you without batting an eye.

Some call it deranged, but I call it devotion. It takes Sloan a bit to warm up to it all given the twists the duet takes but once she does, it’s an inferno. I have no notes, I love love this series. You must read Slaying for Sloan before Sweet Doe at minimum, but I highly recommend reading the whole Wrecked series.

Following on from slaying for Sloan, from the moment Sloan finds out that the guy that chased her around the little village isn’t her boyfriend Alex but his twin brother Asher, with a sinful secret.

Forced to go with Asher, Sloan fights along the way, looking for an opening to run. Finding out secrets about Asher and how far his obsession really goes. But what she wasn’t counting on was how her feelings will start to sway. Seeing and feeling the life that she can have, the freedom of being who she’s being too scared to be.

Until the day comes when the search party draws close, extremely close, where she has a spilt second choice, scream for help or run with Asher. But which choice would she make and will she make the one that would make her happy or the one that is forced to go back to the life where she’s faking every day.

And to that, they pack everything they can and run. Run to the life that Asher has being planner for. For the silence, the miles and miles without neighbours or people around.

Their story is a toe of the line of Stockholm Syndrome or real lust. Sloan is drowning in her life, being the girl that everyone else wants her to be. I loved the way their relationship developed, Sloan finally coming into herself and allowing herself to be her true self with the help of Asher. Asher maybe a tad unhinged, or a lot unhinged, but I love him. My heart broke for him about his childhood.
I’m sad the series had come to an end.

Melissa and Dana never fail to amaze me. From dark romance to depraved to everything in-between you can truly feel the time, commitment and love they pours into their characters and stories to bring them to life.
Sweet Doe picks up where Slaying for Sloan left off, if you haven't read it yet then this book won't make sense and you need to read it first.
Fast forward, Sloan and Asher. Oh boy, Asher the man whose been watching, waiting, obsessing and taken what he's been craving. This man see's everything and knows everything about Sloan, maybe better then she knows herself. He's unhinged, crazy and utterly obsessed to the point of no return and will do anything to keep his Sweet Doe, and no one will take her from him including family.
Sloan, our sweet little doe, finally realizing the man in front of her is not the boyfriend she's come to know and love but his twin brother she knew nothing about. When she finds herself trapped in the woods with a psycho who knows more about her then she knows about herself the only thing she wants to do is run.
When your in the middle of nowhere and lines get blurred, obsession takes route and you only have each other to keep you company, whose side do you take when everything turns on a dime.
I loved this story so much and I'm so sad to see it end. I can only hope with other books Melissa and Dana co-write we can get a glimpse into the future of where our wrecked series characters end up.

Absolutely loved this book. Sweet Doe was the perfect, twisted conclusion to Sloan’s duet and such a satisfying way to wrap up the Wrecked series.

From the very first page, the shift in her loyalty had me hooked. She goes from terrified captive to someone who slowly (almost unwillingly) starts to crave the one person she should’ve hated. And the moment she realizes she chose the wrong brother on Christmas? I was feral. Watching that tension unravel into obsession was chef’s kiss.

One of my favorite parts was how she finally came around at the end. I honestly didn’t think she was going to go with him, I thought she’d run back to safety or try to break free. But when they used the flames as a distraction and disappeared together? That’s when it clicked: she wasn’t trapped anymore. She chose him. That shift was everything.

And the soft moments…
The way he took care of her when she got sick? DONE. Absolutely melted me. For a man who’s all sharp edges and bad intentions, those gentle moments hit so much harder.

The ending tied the whole series together beautifully. It felt like a true finale, dark, emotional, and loyal to every messy, chaotic part of the Wrecked world. The writing was amazing, the pacing perfect, and the character growth so satisfying.

A must read if you love morally gray men, obsessive love, and endings that make you question whether freedom is really what the heroine even wants.

This is book 4 in The Wrecked Series. Please read Slaying for Sloan as this is the duet ending and picks up right where it left off!

Sloan finds out all about Asher and his relentless ways he went about to get her. Not only do we find out about how obsessed he is we also get more of his background and how he grew up.

Asher takes Sloan to his cabin (not by choice) but all she can think about is getting away and finding a way out, a way home. “𝙴𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚍𝚊𝚝𝚘𝚛 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚋𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚙𝚘𝚝𝚜.”But with Asher being so obsessed he’s already planned for this. He loves her fight and fire “𝚂𝚑𝚎’𝚜 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚍𝚏𝚒𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚛𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚍 𝚒𝚗 𝚜𝚘𝚏𝚝 𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚓𝚊𝚐𝚐𝚎𝚍 𝚋𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚑.“

Favorite quotes

She thinks I’m a monster, and she’s probably right. But she’s the fucking myth that made me.

She’s mine, and I’ll carve it into her soul if I have to. One touch, one kiss, one broken moan at a time. Until there isn’t a single part of her that doesn’t bear my fucking name.

I want her wild. I want her whole. I want her exactly as she is—just mine.

She thinks I’m the villain in her story. The monster dragging her to hell. Good. Because even monsters know how to worship. And I’ll worship her the only way I know how—with blood, with devotion, with total fucking possession—until she stops fighting the truth.

He's beautiful, in the way that dangerous things often are.

The story of Sloan and Asher continues.

Sloan had believed she was with her boyfriend Alex. She thought she was seeing a new, kinkier side of him coming out to play. But no, Asher, the black sheep, twin brother that is no longer acknowledged by the family has made a reappearance and has decided Sloan is his. He will stop at nothing to keep her within his grasp.

Now Sloan is stuck in a cabin in the woods with him. There no neighbors or cell service for miles. Her opinion are attempt to escape and reach help or learn to live with him.

“Love is think about someone constantly, wanting to know everything about them, needing to be the reason for their smile.”

I loved how Asher remembered the little things about her. He learned her likes and dislikes and takes care of her when she is sick. I would love to have a man like that… well maybe not to the extreme length that Asher goes but. I loved watching Sloan give in and realize that Asher might be the kind of man and love that she has been missing. The type of relationship Alex never would have been able to give her.

Dana and Melissa know how to write an obsessed, psycho MMC that captures the heart strings of their readers and Asher is no different.

Sweet Doe is book four in the Wrecked Series by Melissa McSherry and Dana LeeAnn, and the conclusion of the Slaying for Sloan duet. This dark romance novella came just in time to warm you up this cold holiday season!

This short read picks up where the last book leaves off - focusing on Sloane and Asher. Sloane realizes that her mystery man is her boyfriend’s twin brother, and he is completely obsessed with her. As much as she tries to resist, he is under her skin. However toxic, possessive, and unhinged he may be, he is fulfilling her every desire, being gentle when he needs to be.

This spicy little number was exactly what I needed! I read it in one sitting with a flush to my cheeks. I loved this series and look forward to what is coming up next!

Thanks to Melissa McSherry and Dana LeeAnn for gifting me an eARC of Sweet Doe. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

OMG!! I absolutely loved this!! It’s a perfect continuation of Sloan and Asher’s story, and it did not disappoint. In this book, Sloan finally learns everything about Asher—his past, his pain, and just how deeply his obsession with her runs. And Asher… wow. My heart completely broke for him. The way he was treated by his parents was horrible, and you get such a deeper understanding of who he is and why he is the way he is.

When he takes Sloan to the cabin, all she can think about is escaping, yet she can’t ignore the real feelings she has for him—feelings that terrify her. Asher has had every detail planned for so long, and she finally sees just how unhinged and fixated he truly is. The story is heartbreaking at times, intense in all the best ways, and completely addictive.

I loved every second of it, and I’m so sad this is the last book in the series—but what an incredible ending! And yes… the spice was fantastic!

This is a dark romance and part 4 of a series / part 2 of a duet - you should definitely read part 1 of the duet, Slaying for Sloan, before starting this, because it won't make sense otherwise.

The story picks up where book 3 leaves us at - Sloan, our FMC, has just realized that the man who was chasing her is her boyfriend's twin brother Asher, and that he's obsessed with her.

Following the transition from this realization to the end is fascinating, and we see Sloan question who she really is, what life she wants, and whether there's something inside her that mirrors Asher's darkness.

The only hard part for me was that with the way books 3 and 4 were split up, we got tons of hot, steamy spice with little emotional connection in book 3, and then tons of emotional stuff but very little spice in book 4. I read them together, so it wasn't a problem, but if you read these separately it may be a little unfulfilling.

Before diving into Sweet Doe, you’ll want to read Slaying for Sloan, because this sequel doesn’t ease you in for a second—it throws you straight back into the storm.

Sloan’s story takes a sharp turn when the truth about the twin brothers unravels, and suddenly everything she thought she knew comes crashing down. Asher’s obsession burns brighter and darker than ever; he’s fierce, unhinged, and terrifyingly devoted. The lengths he’ll go to in order to keep Sloan close are extreme… and that isolated mountain setting makes it even more intense.

The moment Sloan realizes she wasn’t with the man she believed she loved, but with the twin who has been fixated on her for years, the shock is unreal. And from that point on, the chaos never lets up.

This duet delivers everything—twisted devotion, explosive reveals, and a love story so feral you can’t look away. Sweet Doe is the perfect, pulse-pounding conclusion to Sloan and Asher’s dark, obsessive journey.

What a great follow on from ‘Slaying for Sloan’ 😊

Sloan, is basically kidnapped by Asher and taken to a cabin off grid. His obsession with her is highlighted when she finds his office and sees all the photos of herself, a journal he has wrote in describing what he has planned. Her emotions in turmoil but inside she knows he will ‘burn the world for her’, her downfall is that she can foresee falling for him though a part of her still wants to girth against it. Will they survive all the tribulations of being locked away in the wilderness? Or will she succumb and return to her life before?

𝙱𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝙸’𝚖 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚒𝚝 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝚑𝚎𝚛. 𝙽𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚠𝚊𝚜. 𝙽𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚋𝚎.

For me it was yet another story in the Wrecked Series I couldn’t put down until I finished it, the love he has for her we can only dream about! Their story unfolding before our eyes, bringing with it some angst of will she, won’t she moments.

“𝑡𝑜 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜’𝑠 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑐𝑟𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑑 𝑎 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟”

what a great ending to a series! it definitely took a turn because I wasn’t sure Sloan was actually going to end up wanting Asher, but thank heck she did. I knew I hated Alex in the first part of this story, 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘚𝘭𝘰𝘢𝘯, but just hearing how Asher talked about him and hearing the childhood history. He deserved what he got. Asher on the other hand is 🥵, if obsession was a sports competition he’d win because he’d burn the world down for Sloan.

I have so so many quotes I want to share because the yearning out of Asher’s mouth is just *𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙛𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙨𝙨* 🤌🏻😚

“𝑠ℎ𝑒’𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑚𝑦 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙. 𝑆ℎ𝑒’𝑠 𝑚𝑦 𝑓𝑢𝑐𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑔𝑖𝑜𝑛, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼’𝑙𝑙 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝐼 𝑑𝑖𝑒.”

I’m so sad to see the 𝘞𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 come to an end but I am so honored I got to arc read it for Dana and Melissa. Much love to them always.🖤

Ok, Asher has got to be the best, most ultimate book bf of all time. He is a sweetie and I just want to hug him forever.

I definitely liked Sloan and Asher so much more than Cara & Rhett (books 1-2), but I didn’t really love any of the books in this series. I’m undecided about if I’ll try more from these authors because the stories, outside of the couples, were crap. Any plot is nonsensical, full of holes and mostly irrelevant. Both girls fall in love due to Stockholm Syndrome, and no other reason (Asher is sweet but I don’t see what would motivate Sloan to stay with him in complete isolation forever especially since she’s an extroverted social butterfly, plus he was like ‘stay or die’ which isn’t exactly a choice).

I’ll probably try more by these authors because I really want to like them. I like dark and crazy but so far the books have just been “meh, so-so”.

OMG!! I loved this!! It's a continuation of Sloan & Asher's story & it was awesome! She finds out all about him in this one. And OMG Asher, my heart went out to him, he was treated horribly by his parents & you learn so much more about him here. When he takes her to the cabin, all she can think about is getting away, but she also has real feelings for him, which she's scared of. He's had everything planned for a long time & she sees exactly how obsessed he is about her. The story was heart breaking at times & you really get to see how unhinged he is. I loved this story & I hate that it's the last of this series, but it was awesome!! The spice was fantastic! Highly recommend this series & author!

Book review:

This is book 2 about Slone

We have where she is trap in a cabin out in the middle of nowhere with Asher. He has her and will do everything he can to keep her from leaving. We have Slone who will fight every step of the way at the beginning. He just keeps taking care of her like she is the only thing that matters. He does have to go into town and he has to put a chain on her because he is afraid that she will run. She somewhere being stuck in the cabin she falls hard for Asher. They are having a snowball fight when they hear helicopters overhead. She has a choice to make does she go back inside and hide or does she get rescued? You will have to read the book to find out what her choice is!

🎄 Sweet Doe 🎄

🦌 Stalker
🎄Cabin In The Woods
🦌 On The Run
🎄 Stockholm Syndrome

We finally got the ending to Sloan duet and it didn’t disappoint! This is the perfect ending for Sloan and Asher’s story. I ate up every twisted and toxic part of their relationship.

Sweet Doe picks up right where Slaying For Sloan ended. From the beginning we went through a wild ride, I was gripping my kindle and kicking my feet at the same time.

We get a little bit more of Asher and I’m glad for it! I love his character, hes dark and twisted in the best ways possible. His obsession with Sloan is toxic but Im here for it.

This book is dark & I mean dark. I highly recommend checking the TW before reading!

I’ve been waiting for this conclusion of Sloan’s duet for what seems like forever. I devoured it. Asher thinks he is saving Sloan by kidnapping her. He is absolutely head over heels in love with her and doesn’t really understand why she’s not reciprocating. He thinks given time Sloan will fall in love with him. Sloan is angry and feels betrayed when she realizes that Asher is not Alex. After spending time with him and him giving her the emotional space she needs she realizes he really sees her, sees her like nobody else ever has and that’s when she starts to fall. Asher has such sweet words that I almost forgot he kidnapped Sloan. This is the perfect ending too Sloan and Asher’s story.

I’ve been desperate for more of Asher & Sloan, and Sweet Doe does NOT disappoint—it was completely worth the wait! Honestly, I couldn’t put it down.

Asher’s all-consuming obsession with Sloan knows no limits. Unhinged, insanely intense, and perfectly possessive—he is pitch-black romance perfection.

Sloan is all fire and defiance, yet utterly shattered by everything that happened on Christmas Eve. She clings desperately to the life she had before Asher, making every moment of their dynamic electric and raw.

This is NOT a cute holiday read. It will absolutely land you on the naughty list—but really, who wants to be nice anyway?

Dark and edgy

The conclusion to Book 3 Slaying for Sloan. The previous book ended on a cliffhanger. Asher is the obsessive stalker who has fallen hard for Sloan and killed her ex-boyfriend who also was his twin brother whom he hated and didn‘t see for a long time. Asher has deep-rooted issues and trauma from his childhood he didn‘t get over. His only focus is Sloan and after the previous book he takes her to a secluded place where they can be together. Sloan isn‘t quite sure what to make of him but there is undeniable attraction still and a passion. This book will take you on dark and deep rollercoaster full of angst.
