They call me Saint. Not because I save lives—because I end them. Clean.
But one bad hit changed everything. I killed the wrong mark, and now I’m the contract.
The Guild put a price on my head so high, every assassin on the planet wants a piece of it. Colleagues. Rivals. Old flames. They’re not just coming—they're already here.
I’ve got 48 hours to figure out who set me up, and not die in the process.
My name’s Saint James. And if you’re coming for me… you better bring backup.
Rebekah Sinclair writes books that bite back. Dark rom-coms. Greek mythology retellings. Wicked fae. Billionaire antiheroes. Her stories blend unhinged humor, high-stakes heat, and emotional wreckage you’ll thank her for later.
With 11 published novels (and plenty more on the way), Rebekah has built a world of morally gray men, stabby women, and plot twists that hit like a betrayal kink. Whether you’re into serial killers with soft spots, gods who fall too hard, or fae realms soaked in shadow, there’s a love story in her lineup that will ruin you—in the best way.
Off the page, Rebekah is a single mom to five wildly chaotic kids and four fur-babies (two cats, two dogs, all equally dramatic). Writing started as her escape. Now it's her full-blown career, complete with exclusive covers, spicy book boxes, and signings where readers show up wearing eyeliner sharper than her plot twists.
When she’s not writing, she’s probably hiding from her kids in the pantry, pretending to be brainstorming.
Welcome to Rebekah Sinclair’s world. The spice is high. The stakes are higher. And no one makes it out emotionally intact.
This is the 3rd book in the series. It’s a standalone and you don’t have to read the others to understand what’s going on. This book reads like a 007 movie, lots of action packed scenes, humor and smut sprinkled in for fun. I didn’t like this book as much as the others. The action scenes were a little over the top and the MMC had a ‘secret’ he was hiding the entire time so that threw me off. The FMC is a bad a$$ and mostly likable. All in all I’d give it a 3.5 but it took me several days to get through this book. Normally I’d read it in a day but I struggled with this one.
While not my favorite of the Accidental series I did really enjoy this. I definitely spent a good deal.of time wondering who I could trust outside of our FMC Saint. Everyone was a suspect. But once again Rebekah delivered well planned and writer characters with a great story. I loved that Saint was this strong powerful character. She didn't take crap from anyone and that really made her stand out in my eyes. Loved the story and can't wait to see what Rebekah gives us next.
I’m not going to lie, this had me cracking up from the trigger warning page. Saint and Alejandro definitely need some intensive therapy but John Wick would certainly approve of their methods of getting through pretty much every situation! I will however state for the record that the hot dog factory both is both appalling and makes me cheer on Saint’s ability to creatively engineer weapons with what she has on hand!
First, take my star rating with a gain of salt. The writing was fantastic, the build up and suspense were top notch. The characters great. That said this was very much as described, John wick/kill Bill vibes so if you love a good action movie you're gonna love this. If you don't, well then you power though it like I did, I really enjoyed the romance parts and the overall story but action is just not my jam and the majority of this is action packed.
I absolutely LOVED book. The humor was top tier with the hotdogs and I Iove messy relationships. This would make a perfect action comedy movie. When she said John Wick meets Weekend at Bernie's, that was the perfect description. This is probably my favorite of the series, though I adore each standalone!
This was such a ridiculously fun ride. From the trigger warning page alone, I knew I was in for something special and it absolutely delivered. Saint is an iconic FMC, the action scenes are wild, fast, and brutal in the most entertaining way, and the dark humor hits perfectly.
The vibes are very much John Wick x Kill Bill x Weekend at Bernie’s, and somehow it works flawlessly.
This is another fantastic book from Rebekah Sinclair! She has knocked this story out of the park.
This was the perfect book to get me out of my reading slump that I have been in. There was laughs, spice, gore, and hot dogs. Thank gods I don’t like hotdogs.
I really enjoyed reading this one. It was a bit predictable but hey it's a rom-com, what's not to like? Loved the little references to the past two books. Also loved the Bullet Train vibes going on at the start of the book.
