Beautiful, emotional, absolutely heart wrenching. I love the HeartBeats series so much, it’s so fun at first but Kat Fallons has a way of getting me so hooked onto the characters in less than 300 pages and feel so emotionally connected with them (something some long book series can’t even get me feeling). This book had a very cute plot, Max and Aria are in a forced proximity situation and it gets heated! The book is very character focused and both of them are pretty bad communicators which makes it soooo angsty. Honestly though, I love how Max pulled himself together, like yes he’s still not the best communicator but he had such an amazing character arc. From the beginning, Aria makes it clear he wasn’t committed to anything but his career, but the way he showed up for Sofia (his niece) and Aria time and time again truly was amazing. Aria has abandoned foster child syndrome and I love how Max is there to support her, although she herself is amazing and such a force of nature. Sofia was such a cute little addition too! A literal beam of sunshine to contrast the tension. Not to spoil but there is quite a big twist near the end and it was just diabolical and completely wrecked me. I cried so much my eyes were swollen and throbbing in pain. But was it worth it for this masterpiece of a book? Yes absolutely, 100% would recommend and 110% would do it again. With the way this book had me going through so many highs and lows I was going insane, it’s a solid 5/5

This is the second book in this series that I read.
This is a quick read, sweet romance. It follows the structure of the genre and relies heavily on lack of communication. I don’t enjoy those as much because I don’t understand why people don’t just use their words. But the story is engaging enough that you want to read to find out how they’ll make it through.

There is some spice and I’ll admit I did not enjoy those scenes even though usually I’m fine with it. Luckily, the spice was a very small part of the story.

Finding our Frequency is the 3rd book in the HeartBeats Series by Kat Fallons.

I love Kat Fallons writing and her HeartBeats series is one of my all-time favorite series of all times. I read the prequel “Mistletoe & Mixtapes” back in December when it was first released and I fell in love with Aria and Max, and the ending of that story, it punched me in the gut. So, finally getting the chance to read the rest of Max and Aria’s story brought such great joy to my heart after the cliffhanger “Mistletoe & Mixtapes” left me hanging on.

I fell in love with Max and Aria in “Mistletoe & Mixtapes” and if you read that novella, I know you will have too. But, on the off chance you didn’t read that novella, be sure to read the trigger warnings for both the novella and this book. Neither book is dark, but some of the events and themes are dark and you will find your heart shattering (and I promise your heart will mend) from some of the events that do occur in this book especially, but Kat did such a flawless job in her writing that honestly, if you find you have to, you can honestly skip certain moments if you have too.

I will promise you this though, “Finding our Frequency” is going to give you and put you through all of your feels, Kat takes us through so many different moments, and her narrative is just so intensely powerful that you feel like you are pulled right into the story and into the shoes of the characters themselves. There’s going to be times you’ll find yourself laughing at Max and Aria’s banter, and all their other sweet, cute and even quirky moments that Kats strewn throughout the book.

You’re going to find yourself swooning at all the stunningly beautiful romantic moments, and you’ll be wishing that you could be Max’s “good girl” too, believe you me! And you’ll be left sobbing at each and every heartbreaking moment, begging and praying to Kat that she’ll give all her characters a HEA. And above all else you’ll find yourself falling head over heels in love with each and every character in this book, and you’ll find yourself never wanting to leave them or this world.

I found this to be a beautiful, powerful, and emotional read and like the other 2 books in the HeartBeats series I am forever grateful to have been given this chance to have read it. The story, the characters, the plot, all of it stole my heart and I know will live forever in my heart and Max and Aria live rent free in my head even now and will join all the other characters who live rent free in my head haunting me day and night for the rest of my life.

And that ending. Oh, that ending, that is one of the most stunning and treasured ending I’ve ever read and it left me sobbing like a baby, it was so perfect. And I promise you this, when you read it for yourself, you’re going to be left sobbing like a baby too. They’ll be happy tears, but my gosh, I can’t tell you just how stunning and beautiful that ending is.

If you have been in search of a mind=blowing and phenomenal romance that’s truly breathtaking in its scope that’s going to take you through every emotion, have you falling in love with all of it’s characters, and leave with no other choice than to put this stunning book on your own trophy shelf, this is the one you’ve been searching for. Don’t sleep or wait to read this book. This is a standalone book, you don’t have to have read the previous books to read this one, and believe me, once you enter this world, you’re never going to want to escape it, you’re just going to want more or it.

I highly recommend this book and this entire series. Actually, I recommend anything that Kat Fallons writes. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors and I’ll read anything she writes at this point. I can’t wait to see what she writes next.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the author for allowing me the absolute privilege of being able to arc read this book. I truly appreciate it!

I've recently read the prequel novella to this book, and I absolutely fell in love with Aria and Max, and the absolute gut punch that was that ending, so I've been absolutely dying to be able to finally read the rest of their story, because that cliffhanger completely stole me! Let me tell you all, if you fell in love with them you will not be disappointed!! Check your trigger warnings though, this book isn't dark, but it has some dark touches that will cause your heart to absolutely break (and be mended) from some the events that occur, but it is done so flawlessly well that you can skip through certain moments if you choose to too.

However this book will give you literally all of the feels, it takes you through so many different moments, and the prose is so powerful that you can't help but feel like you're right there going through them all yourself. You're going to laugh at Max and Aria's banter, and so many other cute and quirky moments strewn throughout the book! You're going to swoon at all of the absolutely beautiful romantic moments, but be left begging to be Max's good girl too, trust me! You're going to find yourself sobbing at every single heartbreaking moment, begging Kat to let her characters have a happy ending (they do!). Above all you're going to be absolutely in love with everyone in this book, and you're never going to want to leave them or this entire world! This was such a powerful and emotional read and I'm forever grateful to have read it! It's stolen my heart and will live rent free with me for the rest of my days! That ending though! Oh my gosh, it's truly the most precious ending I've ever read, it was perfect! You're going to totally be left sobbing like a baby, with happy tears but gosh it's so beautiful!

If you're looking for a truly breathtaking romance that will treat you to every emotion, leave you so in love with its characters, and be a permanent fixture on your reread shelf this is it! A million percent this is it! Don't sleep on this book (which can be read completely independently of the series) and series, because trust me once you get a taste of this world you'll never want to leave it!

Thank you so very much again from the bottom of my heart for allowing me the absolute privilege of being able to arc read your latest book baby! I truly appreciate it and I can't wait until I can bring it home!

First I’d like to give a huge shout out to Kat Fallons and Twisted Chaos PR for the gifted eARC of Finding Our Frequency in exchange for my honest and spoiler free review!

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My Thoughts:
I was first introduced to Aria and Max when I read their little prequel novella during the mistletoes and mixtapes era in December of last year! I was completely in love with them and the cliffhanger that it left off on had my heart aching and wanting to know more of them. Thankfully Kat Fallons already had our back and was making their story come to life in this new book.

This book was absolute perfection! It kicked off where we left off with the prequel novella and I instantly was thrown back into that world and I was so happy to be there. This story was able to bring out so many emotions that I felt back when I read the prequel and let me tell you…seeing Max and Aria work together during this hard time in their lives and stepping up to the plate to help family out when needed and seeing how they were able to work on themselves throughout this entire process was beautiful to witness. Aria and Max were so much more than lust. They were the perfect blend of being humans who struggle with their feelings and what’s right or wrong as well as being responsible and showing up for family.

There was moments where words were said that made one another reflect on who they are and then had a chance to grow from it. I loved how Max instantly dropped everything and switched around his lifestyle to be there for Sofia and Aria. Seeing Aria teach Max everything he needed to know in order to take care of Sofia was so cute to see especially when he was listening to everything she said. The tension between Aria and Max was incredible and I loved that they didn’t regret what happened between them prior. The entire events of this story just pulled them closer together and I was so engaged in their story the entire time.

I don’t want to give too much away so I’ll stop talking now but seriously…you need to give this couple a chance! You really won’t regret it!

Finding Our Frequency is the third installment of the HeartBeats series and serves as a testament to Kat Fallon’s ability to craft a beautiful, heart-wrenching narrative. After being introduced to Max and Aria in their prequel novella, I was eager to see their story unfold, and this conclusion did not disappoint. Fallon has a unique talent for establishing a deep emotional connection with her characters, creating an intimacy that feels incredibly earned and placing the reader directly into the world of the series.
The forced proximity and surprise pregnancy tropes are handled with a perfect balance of heat and heart. The tension between Aria and Max is incredible, built on a foundation of communication struggles that make every moment feel high-stakes and angsty. Max’s character arc is a highlight of the book; watching him transition from a career-driven man to a devoted caretaker for his niece, Sofia, and a partner to Aria was truly moving. Aria herself is a force of nature, and seeing her navigate her own vulnerabilities while supporting Max—even as they both struggle with their initial flight-or-fight instincts—was a beautiful journey.
While the story is fast-paced, it remains heavily character-focused, exploring the internal conflicts of two people who must learn to stop running. There is a staggering twist near the end that provides a significant emotional impact, leading into a conclusion that is easily one of the most precious and perfect endings I have read. It is a breathtaking read that transitions from laughter and swoon-worthy banter to happy tears, ensuring it will remain a permanent fixture on my reread shelf.
Please be aware that this story contains sensitive themes, including mentions of the foster care system, parental abandonment, and a significant emotional twist that may be difficult for some readers. I highly recommend checking the author’s full content warnings before diving in.
Thank you to Twisted Chaos PR and Kat Fallon for the opportunity to review this ARC.

Aria, a devoted nanny to her best friend’s six-year-old daughter, finds herself in an unexpected co-parenting situation with the girl’s uncle, Max, after a tragic car accident involving the little girl's parents—Aria's best friend and Max’s twin brother. Following a fateful one-night stand during the holidays, the tension between them becomes undeniable. When a surprise pregnancy is added to the mix, they are forced to confront their deepest fears and determine if they can turn their complicated arrangement into a real family.

This was a steady, comfortable read that hits all the familiar beats of a surprise pregnancy story. It follows a fairly traditional path for the genre, making it a straightforward contemporary romance.

The story is fast-paced, and the relationship develops quickly. While both characters have deep-seated fears, the internal conflict felt quite central to the narrative. Aria’s hesitation to confront her feelings was a recurring theme, and while her vulnerability was clear, the repetitive nature of her fears made me wish for a slightly more direct resolution to the "will-they-won't-they" tension.

I did appreciate that both Aria and Max were ultimately willing to work on themselves despite their initial flight-or-fight instincts kicking in. While the third-act breakup—driven by that instinct to run away—was a difficult hurdle, it highlighted the emotional work they needed to do to truly be together.

Thank you to Twisted Chaos and Kat Fallons for this ARC.

This book tugged on every one of my heartstrings and it made my heart so happy at the end. The romance was so sweet. The heartbreak was so sad. The banter was so enjoyable. And the spice was so yummy. Adored every single second of reading and cannot wait to read it again.

Aria is a nanny.

Max is a DJ.

They don't get along. But they sleep together because duh. Life turned upside down. Now they are temporary co-guardians and housemates. Suddenly they are building a life together and learning more about the other. And their chemistry is just too much to resist.

Aria is very used to being left, being hurt, being unlovable. It is so heartbreaking. So, her big feelings for Max are very confusing and difficult. She is so afraid to let herself love and she gets so scared of the happy being temporary, so it is very understandable when she freaks out a little bit. It is hard to watch her go through it but it makes sense and you will cheer for her every step of the way as she works through it.

Max is so sweet and he does a lot of growing up and becoming more stable because he suddenly realizes what life he wants. And that life is Aria. And a family and dance parties and coffee and snuggles. He works so hard to get that life and to show her who he is in his heart and how he has changed his life. And he really does put in the work.

They are so sweet together and I loved how they completely threw themselves into caring for Sofia and how they grew throughout the story. I just couldn't not root for these two.

I really enjoy Kat's writing. She writes interesting characters and I find it so easy to lose myself in their stories & lives. Her writing flows really nicely and my brain doesn't feel lost or confused along the way

I received this as an ARC and am beyond grateful. This had zero impact on my review.

Finding Our Frequency by Kat Fallons picks up right where Mistletoe & Mixtapes left us—except this time, the stakes feel higher, the emotions hit harder, and the tension? Absolutely off the charts.

Max and Aria are back, but now they’re navigating something far more complicated than lingering feelings. With Max’s brother and sister-in-law recovering from a horrific accident, the two step into full-time roles as Sofia’s uncle and nanny—co-parenting, cohabitating, and trying to keep everything steady for a six-year-old who needs them. What could possibly go wrong? (Spoiler: everything… in the best way.)

What I loved most is that this story gave me exactly what I was craving after Mistletoe & Mixtapes. That unfinished tension, those unresolved feelings—it’s all here, but deeper. More mature. More meaningful. Kat Fallons really took her time building the emotional layers, and you can feel every bit of it.

Max and Aria’s chemistry is undeniable from start to finish, but it’s the way their dynamic evolves that really got me. Aria finally starts to see Max as more than just the DJ with charm and edge—she sees the way he shows up for Sofia, the way he carries responsibility, the way he loves. And Max? You can feel how much he’s been holding back, trying to do the right thing, even when it’s killing him.

And then… that moment. The one where everything shifts. The tension breaks, the lines blur, and suddenly there’s no going back.

The push and pull between their past and present adds so much depth to the story. They’re not just fighting attraction—they’re fighting history, timing, and the fear of messing up something that’s become so important.

Kat did such an amazing job crafting this. The tension, the passion, the emotional weight—it’s all there, and it never lets up. If you were hoping for more Max and Aria, this delivers in every possible way.

Finding Our Frequency ( Heartbeats Series Book 3 ) Well Kat has officially wrecked me , just wrecked me in all the best ways and by the end all the shattered pieces of my heart were somehow put right back together again . I only have one question, how do you not fall in love with this absolutely amazing , Steamy and addictive series/ world that Kat has so brilliantly created? . We’re only on book 3 and I’m just utterly obsessed and equally in love with each couple and their journey !! . That being said, something about Max and Aria really had my heart , I just felt such a connection to both . I loved the chemistry between them but it was so much more than that . The things they went through both together and separately, just resonated with me in the most unexpected of ways. I loved how different they were yet how perfectly they complemented each other so perfectly. The progression of their relationship, all the different layers and complexities, the angst and the humor and the witty banter , the heartbreaking and heartfelt moments , the drama , the obstacles, the family and friendships. I genuinely could not devour it fast enough, I literally felt like I was on a emotional rollercoaster the whole way through. Smiling and laughing out loud one second then crying ugly tears and yelling so so hard the next . What never ever wavered though was how utterly invested I found myself in these two and how hard I cheered for them to find the happy ending they so desperately wanted wanted and clearly deserved.

ADVANCED READER COPY!!💖💖💖

5/5🌟

Before I read this, I read the other novellas and the other books in the series and they did not disappoint. I recommend to read them before you start this one.

Aria and Max are frenimies because they spent the night together on New Year’s Eve, and then they didn’t speak of it again. You could 100% feel the sexual tension between while reading and I LOVED it so much!!!

After Max’s twin brother and Aria’s best friend got in a devastating car accident and they are put in charge of caring for Max’s 6 year old niece Sofia. Aria has been Sofias nanny since she was born, so she knows what and how to care for her and her routine that she has been on for years. Max hasn’t also been a constant in Sofias life because he is a DJ and he traveled a lot for it. Max is determined to show Aria that he has what it takes to step up and be in this 100%.

Max moved Aria in with him while they are caring for Sofia. The forced proximity that they are in puts them on edge around each other more than they already were

Every single spicy scene was done PERFECTLY. You could feel how much Max loved and cared for Aria. The romance was so real and sweet but also emotional.🫠😢 I loved it so so much. I recommend this to anyone who reads romance!!!

I really want to thank Kat Fallons for the opportunity to read and review this ARC!!!

Wow—Kat Fallon completely floored me with this one. I expected to love it, but I had no idea it would be this much.
This book delivers some of my favorite tropes—forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine and found family with a fresh, emotional twist (DJ + nanny). The tension, longing and chemistry were unreal. I couldn’t put it down and still can’t stop thinking about it.

Max is a world-famous DJ with a playboy reputation, but when an accident forces him to co-parent his niece with her nanny, Aria—the one woman who doesn’t fall for his charm—he’s determined to prove he’s more than that. Though they’ve been dancing around their attraction for a while, one kiss changes everything and Aria is determined to keep things professional. Fiercely protective and shaped by a difficult past, she struggles to trust him… even as he shows up for her in all the ways that matter.

I loved these two. The angst, the slow-burn tension, the emotional depth—it all hit perfectly. Max is swoon-worthy, loyal and all in. These two heated things up to molten lava level and then some. Watching them work through their fears and breakthrough to the other side had me hooked and emotional. The HEA was so worth it. 10/10—an absolute must-read!

4⭐ Finding Our Frequency by Kat Fallons

This book pulled me in with such a fun and emotional premise and honestly kept me hooked the whole way through. Max and Aria are the kind of opposites that should not work on paper, but somehow they absolutely do. Their chemistry is immediate, a little chaotic, and full of tension that never really lets up in the best way.

I loved the forced proximity and instant family dynamic. Watching them step into co parenting with Sofia added so much heart to the story. It was not just about attraction or banter, it was about growth, responsibility, and learning how to show up for someone else. Those quieter moments between them felt just as impactful as the more intense ones.

Max really surprised me. He starts off with that cocky, larger than life energy, but underneath it there is so much depth and vulnerability. And the way he falls first and fully leans into it made my heart melt a little. Aria was strong and grounded, and I appreciated how she held her boundaries while still allowing herself to feel everything that was building between them.

The only reason this is a four star instead of five for me is that there were a few moments where I wanted just a little more depth or emotional payoff, especially toward the end. Some scenes felt like they wrapped up a bit too quickly when I was craving just a little more.

Overall, this was such an enjoyable read with great tropes, strong chemistry, and a storyline that balances sweet, messy, and emotional really well. If you love grumpy sunshine vibes, found family, and a hero who falls hard, this one is definitely worth picking up.

"Let me keep you forever, and love you just as long."

Max and Aria's story begins prior to Finding Our Frequency, with a novella I had planned to read beforehand and forgot until I started. I can therefore say you can absolutely read this without reading the prequel, but I am itching to get stuck into it now.

Aria is nanny to Sofia, Max's niece, and the two of them have a very recent history and a lot of sparks. A horrible accident throws them both together to temporarily become co-parents.

They agree to push aside history and feelings for Sofia's sake, but all that tension is bubbling under the surface and their hearts have other plans.

Aria is sensible and complex, and a good balance for the dirty-talking, big energy personality that is Max.

This was a really enjoyable read, and I will rectify my earlier error by getting my hands on the rest of their story.

You should read this book if you love:
- Open door romance (spicy)
- Forced proximity
- Found family
- Opposites attract
- Uncle x Nanny
- Dual POV

Finding Our Frequency is available now.

Thank you to Kat Fallons for the complimentary copy of this book. The views and opinions expressed in this review are my own.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ // 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Finding Our Frequency by Kat Fallons was such a good and great continuation of her Mistletoe and Mixtapes Novella. This book did not disappoint. It was good. There was drama, there was growth, there was trauma responses, and there was an HEA, but getting to that HEA took a lot of reassurance.

This was a good read, I loved it a lot, especially being able to continue it after having gotten the chance to read Mistletoe and Mixtapes. Ugh, it was too good, and loved the return of characters from books 1 and 2. I loved that previous characters were great support characters for both MCs.

Most of all, I loved Max's growth and persistence. I loved that he never gave up, even when Aria let her fear win over before she dared to ask questions because it was easier. This story really pulled at my heartstrings in the end. Made me teary eyed, because Max is such a sap.

So, thank you Kat and Twisted Chaos for letting me get an early copy of this book, because it was such an amazing read. I really can't wait for the next one book. Kat has me hooked on this series so far.

I’d been waiting months for this after that cliffhanger, and it picks up right where the novella left off, throwing Aria and Max straight into a life-changing situation.

I really liked seeing Aria step up for Sofia and how seriously she took that role, while Max trying to adjust to domestic life (that first school morning 😅) added some lighter moments. The tension between them is strong—lots of slow burn, jealousy, and clear chemistry. And some of the softer scenes, especially involving Sofia, were genuinely sweet.

My main issue was the communication. So much of the conflict comes from assumptions and avoidance, and it got frustrating watching problems drag on when a simple conversation could have fixed things. The big misunderstanding especially was hard to sit through.

That said, I did enjoy the side characters and seeing Aria find her place, and Max’s effort toward the end, showing up, leaving notes, was a highlight.

Overall, this is a very angsty, slow-burn romance with solid tension, but the lack of communication made it a bit exhausting at times.

I absolutely loved Finding Our Frequency. Kat Fallons delivers a story that feels emotional, immersive, and full of heart.

This book works beautifully as a follow up to Mixtapes and Mistletoe, expanding the world while still giving us a fresh and engaging romance. Max is a world-famous DJ who avoids commitment, while the heroine has strong boundaries and knows exactly what she wants. Watching their different rhythms slowly come together was incredibly satisfying.

What stood out most to me was how real the characters felt. Their struggles were not just for drama. They felt messy, honest, and grounded in a way that made their growth really meaningful. When things finally clicked between them, it felt completely earned.

The music backdrop added so much energy and atmosphere. It made every scene feel vivid and alive.

Perfect for readers who love
Slow burn tension
Emotional character growth
Music-centered romance
Opposites who challenge each other

Whether you read Mixtapes and Mistletoe or are just jumping in, this one is definitely worth your time.

Max and Aria

* Forced proximity
* Instant family
* He falls first
* Enemies-to-lovers vibes
* Grumpy x sunshine
* One night stand to more
* Touch her and…
* Surprise baby

This carries on right after the end of their novella, so it was a nice to finally get a continuation of their story.

Initially, Aria was great, stepping into care for Sofia while Niko and Camille were healing.
And I seriously enjoyed the mayhem that was Sofia’s first day at school. Well played Aria….

Slow-burn tension, there was sweetness with Sofia bridging the gap between them, yet there were humorous moments of jealousy when other people tried to jump in. However, fear and miscommunication played a huge role in creating drama and angst, and it got a little wearing at times.

The major conflict, the third-act breakup… that was a difficult section to read. I felt for Aria, but she drove me up the wall.

The overall premise of the story was sweet, but I didn’t really get the chemistry between them. Perhaps, it’s a result of the non-stop miscommunication.

I found this series while reading The Christmas Playlist series. I enjoyed Max and Aria's story. There were so many emotions throughout the book. Aria is set on not crossing anymore lines with Max and refuses to fall for him. There is banter, heart ache, love, and spice. Aria and Max are thrown into parenthood with his niece Sophia for about 3 months. They agree to live together to make sure Sophia has the best care and as much consistency as possible. During that time, Aria puts strict rules in place about having a professional relationship. Max can't get enough of Aria after Christmas Eve but in order to help Sophia, he has to pretend nothing's there. As time goes on, Aria and Max both have a harder time avoiding their feelings. They finally decide to be together and take it one day at a time. Things move quickly and Sophia is ready to go back home. Now what? What happens next with them? Will Aria be able to trust Max enough to have a full relationship? Are they ready to admit their feelings to keep what they've built?

Kat Fallons does it again. Delivering a steamy, heartfelt, and punchy story that had me up reading past my bedtime. My favorite thing about her writing is that every single word and scene feels so intentional. I love that her books are short and to the point, yet somehow make me want to live in their pages forever.

Finding Our Frequency was no different, minimal fluff but filled to the LITERAL brim with emotion. I never cry in books, let alone happy tears, but she got me with how lovely this story plays out.

And the short snippet of perfection that was Max Petrakis from Mistletoe & Mixtapes never could’ve prepared me for how UTTERLY wonderful he is in a full-length novel. My god. On my hands and knees for this fictional man.

100% recommend the entire HeartBeats Series to romance readers who love hot as hell spice and emotional gut punches that end in the sweetest HEAs of all time 😍

Thank you to author Kat Fallons for allowing me to ARC read the beautiful piece of work!

I started with the novella before jumping to this book and let me tell you that did not disappoint either!

Aria and Max are not exactly enemies but certainly don't get along. That does not mean there isn't sexual tension over flowing.

The two of them decide, after a devasting accident, to care for Max's niece together. Aria has been her nanny for six year so she knows the ins and outs of everything, but Max really wants to step-up and do this too.

Forced proximity of living in the same home puts them on edge in more than one way right from the start!

The spice is done absolutely wonderfully. The romance is so real and sweet but also emotional. You can just feel all the things coming of the page(or screen!). I flew through this is a matter of hours!

4.5/5 Stars! Highly recommend and will be checking out more from Kat Fallons!

Some stories just hit the right note… and this one doesn’t miss.

Finding Our Frequency is fun, emotional, and completely addictive, with a mix of tension, humor, and heart that makes it impossible to put down.

What stood out most to me was the dynamic between Max and Aria. The grumpy x sunshine energy, mixed with forced proximity and that we definitely shouldn’t have hooked up tension, makes every interaction feel loaded in the best way.

Add in the co-parenting and instant family element, and it brings a softer, more emotional layer that balances everything out perfectly. Watching them navigate not just their feelings, but also stepping into something bigger together, made it so easy to get invested.

And Max? He falls first—and harder—and it shows in a way that makes the story even more satisfying.

For me, this is an easy 5 ⭐ because it was heartfelt, entertaining, and had me hooked from start to finish.

Fun. Emotional. Completely addictive. 🎧🖤

Finding our Frequency finds uncle Max and the Nanny Aria taking care of little Sofia after her parents are injured in a car accident. The problem is Max and Aria are bristling with sexual tension after spending a night together on Christmas eve.
Max rearranges his whole life to be there for his niece when she needs him and in doing so realizes the bachelor life no longer suits him and he wants a family and wants that with Aria.
Aria has been abandoned and disappointed by everyone in her life and that has left her distrusting everyone who comes into her life and unfortunately Max is no different and even though she is in love with Max she can't bring herself to tell him and trust that he loves her too.
All is almost lost after a massive misunderstanding but luckily thanks to the love and support of their friends and family Max and Aria are able and find their happily ever after. I love the relationship Max and Aria have though I wish their communication was better.

First, I want to say thank you to Kat Fallons for this early copy and trusting me for her team!

When I say that I devoured this in a single night, I am not kidding. I was hooked from the Mistletoe and Mixtapes novella, and knew I had to see what happened when Aria and Max took over as guardians to little Sofia when her parents were in that horrible car crash.

This book had it all for me. Started off hot from the novella, then came to a screeching halt, which simmered into a steamy slow burn. I’m also a huge fan of the Nanny trope, but this one was different as Aria was always more like family.

The banter between the two was impeccable, I loved seeing their love for not only each other but Sofia grow.

I will say I’m not a huge fan of the surprise pregnancy trope, but this one just … worked for me somehow. I think it was that tied in with the drugging / club / miscommunication part that sold it for me. Emotions and tensions were high and it all just fit.

This book really tugged on the heart strings for me. 10/10 recommend!

The Heartbeat Series is back and @katfallonsauthor delivers another romance that goes straight for the heart. This story moves perfectly ,hits hard emotionally, and just knows how to deliver in every way.

Max completely won me over - SWOON!!! I liked him in Mistletoe & Mixtapes, but seeing him in full detail was so satisfying. He’s irresistible. 🤤

Finding Our Frequency follows single uncle Max and his niece’s nanny, Aria Coleman. Tragedy has stuck close to home and now they must work together to watch over little Sofia. The only catch is they shared a one‑night stand just days earlier and agreed it was a mistake (but was it 🤔). Now they’re living under the same roof, trying to keep things professional while all that absolute slow burn tension simmers just beneath the surface. This one is so good and when that tension breaks it’s explosive!

This is an impeccable example of how you need a solid and trustworthy village to raise a kid , not just two parents.

I had no idea, stepping in this book, that I would love Max and Aria so much. Yet seeing a character like Max who just did the most to step up and be there , really there , for his niece and Aria who is such a caring and head-on problem solver even with all her own insecurities and problems ? Yeah , I could not help but fall for them.

Of course their chemistry is insane BUT the intimacy? The will to let go of self-protecting walls, to fight against your own fears and nightmares ? Yeah that really got me good !

Definitely a great read ♡

Thank you to the Author and the Twisted Chaos team for the opportunity to get an ARC of this book 🙌

I really enjoyed this story! It’s the first book I’ve read from this author but i will definitely be going back and reading the rest.

This book gave me a variety of feelings and takes you through so many moments which you can’t help but feel like you’re going through them yourself. I found myself laughing and crying along with them.

Each character brings something different to the story and no two characters were the same.

It was well paid Storey that was written beautifully.

Thank you to the author for allowing me to read this as an advanced read a copy. I look forward to reading more from them in the future.

Love this series, this book and this couple, this couples prequel was spicy and a great Christmas read and I am so glad we got a full length book to continue their story, because was a story it is, there is so much emotion and tension and frustration in this read, it had me laughing, smirking, crying and wanting to throw my phone at these two stubbornly adorable characters who were perfect for eachother but idiots when it came to communicating and saying what they really want. Oh and Sofia… such a cutie, she goes through so much and is such a lovely girl. Excited for the next book and seeing more of this group.

This book took me on a journey. It broke my heart and put me back together again. I was so invested in the story that I just couldn’t put it down. Max and Aria were two characters I felt I could truly relate to and connected with. I did get frustrated at their inability to communicate with each other. But the way these two grow and change throughout the story had me falling in love with them. Especially Max. His plot line had me the most invested overall. He really showed up for Aria and Sofia when it mattered. This book is filled with twists, small and large, that kept my attention and in the end left me feeling wrung out and enormously happy.

Wow! Finding Our Frequency is an emotional, beautiful uncle/nanny romance! The title is perfect for this book! I love Aria and Max's story! It took them awhile to finally be on the right frequency together! This story had my emotions all over the place! I was crying out of sadness, frustration, anger, and finally happiness! This book tore my heart up and then put it back together. It's beautifully written and captivating! I love this story!
