Shane's books are always good and this one keeps getting better

I love all of Shane's series but this series is quickly becoming my favorite (at least until his next series comes out) the depth of the characters, the passion and intimacy of the MC and his harem. And a fantastic taste is action and downtime all come together in one fantastic book. I'm glad we won't be waiting long for the next one.

This book was good, but it slipped a little from the previous two. There were a few more typos, and the harem grows by 2 full members and a probably member for the future. The biggest issue for me was how anticlimactic it was at the end of the major plot line. While not quite a solo show, it effectively was, with the MC wiping out an entire army all by himself. Well, with the help of some creatures he befriends, but otherwise, it was all him.

Stopped 10% in - if homophobia is for you, read this

I don’t dig it, but we got the stereotype and then the muttering and comments. If this figures in the plot for some reason… whatever I’m not going further and avoiding the writer. It’s either lazy or stupid writing and don’t need to know which

An absolutely great story from beginning till the end. A truly surprising new character that fits in with the MC and his family as well as yet more revealed about this world.

One of the best series i read this year written by one of the best authors ive read this year. Normally i dont do binge reads, but this series changed it.
