Declan lives in Galway in the west of Ireland with the wonderful Jane, mom and wife, and Jack & Liam ...the awesome brothers. And oh... their two snakes Ra and Zia.

Declan is an Irish writer of children’s adventure tales with such titles as 'Max Stone and the Lost Star of Zirdon' (which he co-wrote with his youngest son Liam)and the just completed ‘Shadows of the Second Sun.’

Other live projects include the Graphic Novel, 'Kane' which his Jack is illustrating and Australian Graphic Designer, Ellen McCaffrey, is designing.

Two years ago he e-published Willou Mac Wiggle, illustrated by Rebecca Kane, on iTunes

Declan is also a Member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators
