In a realm where witches are in charge of our seasons.
Winter is tired of being the least favorite season. She has let the complaints pile up to the point where that's all she hears now. The other Season Witches are determined to help, especially Spring. Spring goes out of her way to help Winter experience the joy in her season again, so she can then bring that joy to others.
Winter might be cold and dark, but it's also beautiful.
This short and sweet story is a thoughtful take on seasonal change and emotional healing. The book explores how shifting perspective can bring joy back to your life. The parallels between the changing seasons and the rhythms of life feel natural and comforting, and the story serves as a lovely reminder of the quiet beauty and positives that winter can offer. It was the perfect new year, snowfall read.
This was a super cute fast pace read. I loved the take on the season witches, and honestly I wish this was a full length book, because this idea was so cute! I loved Winter and she right, who does like winter? But i felt bad I was one of the naysayers, I’ll be enjoying the cool weather we get here this next week in honor of winter.
This was exactly what I needed to get me into the holiday/winter mood. Short and sweet and full of everything that makes the transition from fall to winter so magical. Paired with the cutest love story, this novelette fully captures the cozy feeling of putting on your mittens for the first time of the winter season.
I loved this story so much. It was such a sweet and cozy read. Perfect short read for winter.
When I applied for an ARC, I only knew this book was going to be part of a series with a novella for every season. As a winter lover, I was so excited to get a copy to review, and am very excited to see all the witches stories.
I loved picturing the seasons as witches! It made the story so fun and honestly made me sad that I don’t like winter. As someone who lives in the Midwest, I adored this take on the 4 seasons! I hope there’s a book for each season coming out’

This was a fun little short story with a unique spin on witches! I would love more world building content however I was able to arc read and know more is to come! Thank you to the author for letting me be one of the first to read this story!
This was such a cute, cozy and witchy story! This book had all of my favorite things wrapped up into one. I adored the main character and ended up cheering her on throughout her journey. This was a short introduction into a world of seasons that I can wait to read more about! Definitely recommend!
This book perfectly captures poor Winter's fate here in the Midwest. It made me laugh and gave me all the feels of a magical first winter snow. Short, sweet, & clever. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
Poor Winter. Of the four seasons, she’s the least appreciated and constantly has to listen to people b*tching and moaning about the snow and cold. So, of course, depression is going to strike, threatening to take away her shine. Will she be able to find her sparkle again with the help of fellow Season Witch, Spring? Guess you’ll have to read this short, sweet, sapphic, novelette to find out.
I have to say, I was giggling when Winter was talking about the people complaining about her season, because guilty. This was a quick read (an hour tops), and I really enjoyed the concern placed on mental health and a new take on the four seasons.
