Get ready for some more holiday hijinks in the latest instalment in the Holiday with a Hitman series. Who needs Hallmark movies when you've got a morally ambiguous hero who'll stop at nothing for his lady love? Hudson, our favourite hitman, woke up that morning with a simple mission: buy a new gun. But life had other plans for him and, after an encounter with a vicious, spitting llama named Lucy, he woke up tied to a bed in ridiculously tight pyjamas which, to add to his misery were decorated with llamas. That was when Scout walked in, and our hitman's heart skipped a beat. With her neighbours threatening her over selling her land, Hudson knew he had to stay and protect her – even if it meant facing off against Lucy and her equally spitty sidekicks, Patricia and Clover.
In a story told from both their perspectives, Scout, fresh from a toxic relationship where her fiancé had cheated on her with her best friend, was hesitant to trust the mysterious Hudson, who had appeared on her land armed to the teeth and carrying a bag full of cash. Meanwhile, Hudson had to figure out how to explain his’ illegal’ career choices without sending Scout running for the hills. In the meantime, a spate of vandalism at the farm had escalated to actual attempts on their lives and the discovery of an open contract on Scout, something Hudson, with a little help from his friends, was determined to get to the bottom of and make sure, no matter what happened between them, Scout would be safe.. This sizzling, hilarious romance is full of chemistry, witty banter, and a fabulous cast of secondary characters – including the scene-stealing llamas. And let's be real, who doesn’t want to know what happened between cougar Sarah and her kinky boy toy Blackjack? If you're one of these people who thinks Die Hard is a Christmas movie, you'll love this series. My only regret is that Christmas comes but once a year and I’ve got to wait an entire twelve months for the next book.

Sit down and hang on for a laugh out loud funny book about Hudson who gets lost and winds up on Scout's farm with three very protective llamas named Lucy, Clover and Patricia. It will be Lucy who will take out the hitman and eats his clothes so that when he wakes up with llama pajamas on you'll giggle and laugh. Plus Nestor, Lorna, Ace, Dante, Sarah and the rest of the crew put on a Winter Fest on a farm in Candy Cane, Florida all while trying to find out the who and the why someone wants her land.
Little does Hudson know but he'll decide to help Scout when he finds out that the neighbors are harassing her plus a sketchy ex-fiance that this hitman is someone will not only fall in love with the owner but her three very protective llamas.Now I need to find some llama fabric make a quilt .

Just finished an absolutely hilarious and romantic read—couldn’t put it down! The characters were enchanting, and I found myself rooting for them the whole way. Scouts journey was adorable and kept me hooked. This is one I’ll happily reread for pure joy!

Sweet christmas romp with a hint of spice and llmas. The story was cute and sweet and I just couldn't put it down.
Perfect read for a quiet evening when you want to enjoy something fun and christmassy. Preferably to be enjoyed with a hot chocolate and a crackling fire.
