This was so cute and fun! I always love these books.

I laughed so many times.

As always I could do with a more Toothless.

I loved seeing where Fishlegs grew up!

I loved the small little love story in there too.

A good one to visit this world again.

My 7yo son and I will love these books forever. We are stoked whenever a new one comes out so keep them coming!!! I love this spin-off series and how they are short and sweet. (Only 2ish hours on audiobook) They have all my favorite characters as well as a few new ones. Stoick’s sister comes and she is a force to be reckoned with. I love her puggle dragons. My son and I were rolling with laughter over them. There are tie-ins to the original series that made us go back and start listening to them again! The AUDIOBOOK is the way to go with David Tennent but the artwork in the book is also a must.

SPOILERS and book notes:
Gladiolus (stoics younger sister) accidentally handcuffed (hand fasted) herself to a king. He loves someone else and she doesn’t want to be tied down. She came to see if old wrinkly can help break the cuffs. Who the king was supposed to be hand fasted to was the daughter of a scary tribe that will be mad and declare war on his kingship and now the hulagans. Glad has a new kind of hunting dragon that are like pugs they are called puggles. Stormfly teases toothless and calls them cute. and a riding dragon too. “ginormous six-legged riding dragon with double rows of fangs, like a great white shark.
"WOW!"
said Camicazi. "A
Courageous Tornadoflyer! I've only seen one of those dragons once before in my life..."
"That many t-t-teeth is just
SHOWING OFF!" fumed Toothless, now in a complete grump.” The kings crew abandoned him and that is why the ship was basically empty when the hooligans boarded the Disaster. Hiccup spoke to the puggles to see where his aunt got this special metal and they said she stole it from a flame strike. Flamestrikes also have a acid which is the only thing able to break through the metal. So they have to give the flame strike back the metal and take some of its acid and bring it back to break the cuffs before the scary tribe attacks. The flame strike was hoarding the metal to protect the dragons from the humans using it against them. Hiccup promises to protect the dragons! They get the acid and break the hand fast cuffs in the nick of time. They get married! Hiccups sword he gets in the second book how to be a Pirate is made of the same metal!!!!

Loved this book as much as all of the how to train your dragon/dragon school books. (Not sure why it's showing as not published yet - I got mine in mid July in the UK!)
