An interesting selection of Waffen-SS photographs, that covers basic early history & training (including Hitler inspecting the Leibstandarte SS barracks in Berlin), action in France & Poland 1939-40, the Greek Campaign 1941, the Eastern Front 1941-45, Normandy & Falaise 1944, The Ardennes 1945, the end of the war in Hungary, non-German volunteer units, and various top brass and holders of the Knight's Cross. A few images are pretty graphic (corpses), with one of an SS corpse being fished out of the moat that surrounded Dachau concentration camp, as liberated prisoners look on from behind a wire fence. Because of the text detailing the images being so small that I literally had to stuff the book right into my face to read it properly I'm knocking a star off. Didn't intend to get that close to the Nazis.
