I love Christmas.
The lights, the music, the whole ridiculous magic of it. I soak it all up.
So, of course, I chose the season to marry the man who knocked me breathless the first moment we met.
Dark, handsome, built like temptation itself.
His family? Not quite so much.
But I was ready to tolerate his domineering mother and his father’s over-the-top work ethic if it meant getting my happily ever after.
What I didn’t expect was his twin brother.
The one no one bothered to mention.
The one who left the note, sent the flowers, and deceived me into marriage instead of with my actual fiancé…all while swearing his brother was going to ruin me.
Financially, legally, and emotionally.
However, Bronte Vasiliou is no Christmas miracle.
He’s the unhinged twin who slipped into his brother’s place, played the part too well, and made sure I felt every one of his lies against every surface of my house.
He lied. He betrayed me.

I finally managed to read a Christmas story!!!
This story was set into a dreamlike scenery, Christmas at beautiful Prague, our heroine was obsessed with everything Christmas like and the cheer atmosphere was everywhere, until... her dream wedding turned out to a beautiful nightmare, cause the twin brother had stolen under false pretenses the bride and he married her!!! And now, she is being forced to be in her dreamy honeymoon with the wrong... groom!!!
What a mess, right????

Meirna was one step away from the biggest day of her life!!!
She was about to marry the love of her life, even though his parents were awful to her, but she was determined to proceed with this wedding, because he was the man of her dreams...
And then, her big day turned into a nightmare when she realized that she had tied the knot with his... twin brother, who she never met once in her life... or has she???
Bronte is acting crazy and he is filling her head with nonsenses while he has deceived her...
But who twin is saying the true and who is lying??? The secrets and the betrayal is too much for Meirna to accept and bypass...
So what will she do while she is feeling attracted to the wrong man???

I liked this story!!!
I liked that the scenery was so oppossite from the storyline...
Deception, obsession, betrayal was the main ingredients for this Christmas treat that Hazel Grace had offered us!!!
I liked Meirna and her obsession with anything Christmas and I liked Bronte's obsession with Meirna, even though his actions weren't always the right ones... Still, I loved how unorthodox were his ways to have this woman as his!!!
After all, he saw her first!!! No???

Twin brothers sounded hot, I'm not gonna lie. But what really rooed me in was wrong groom, because like how is that even possible?! Well let me tell ya, if the brother you're dating is a complete and utter waste of a man and the hidden twin that you technically didn't know existed was the better (and let's be honest, first man you met) twin of the two, you pick the better man because he's all around better suited for you..duh! But that wasn't the case for our Meirna, because she didn't know Bronte existed and Bobby is a prick who didn't deserve the time she gave him. I can't write this without giving away a whole lot so let me try to keep this simple; Bobby is a cheating conniving asshole (and his parents too), Bronte is the better man in every sense of the word, and Meirna gets the life she was meant to live with a man who adores the shit out of her..as she deserves 👏🏼👏🏼 as I read and I started thinking about how things unfolded I'm honestly mad I didn't start piecing it together sooner but I was in the same boat as Meirna while trying to solve the mystery of the twin men. The spice in this was off the charts so there's that too 🥵 Thank you @hazelgraceauthor for the privilage to be part of your ARC team!

HOLY COW!!! First I would like to say that I am obsessed with Bronte, not as much as he is obsessed with Meirna but close to it. The flow of the book was so nice and it like a breath of fresh air when reading a book and the FMC actually fights back and doesn’t just “give in”. That’s when things become predictable, but this read was everything I needed! Not knowing if she was going to stay or go (even though it would have ended up with Bronte still with her, cause this man is obsessed) was one of my favorites. I will definitely be reading more from Hazel!

This book had me wanting to run home from Christmas events just so I could carry on reading and discover what would happen next in this jaw dropping, spicy Christmas read.
Brontë and Meirna worked well together and the character growth was fabulous. The spice was great and Hazel Grace didn’t hold back. The plot was captivating and jaw dropping. I’m going to be honest normally I don’t do holiday books but I just KNEW I had to pick this one up because Hazel MF Grace wrote it. And it does not disappoint. I’m honestly debating how soon is too soon to do a reread because I’m obsessed with the way Bronte is OBSESSED with Meirna. That man is just a masterpiece who will literally do anything to make his girl smile. Like hypothetically anonymously donate a million dollars to her nonprofit

If you need a holiday read for this season I cannot recommend this book enough!! It’s an absolute masterpiece

Hazel Grace is one of my FAVORITE authors. Her Seduce and Destroy series has me in a chokehold. I always recommend it. Once I saw she put out this Christmas-themed story (completely separate from the S&D series) I HAD to read it.

She did not disappoint! But let's face it, I don’t think she ever could disappoint with her books. Bronte and Meirna are *chefs kiss.* the spice is SPICY. The drama is all the tea.

This book is the perfect combination of angst, heat, emotions and chaos.

It’s one of those book I stayed up late to read it.
I loved the suspense and I was eager to see the truth unravel.

Bronte is unhinged, obsessed, protective and irresistible. (the perfect book boyfriend)
He doesn’t back down in saying what he thinks and feels.
His relationship with Meirna is long and troubled, but he’s determined. He knows what he wants and how to get it.

Meirna has to face a hard blow when he said that everything she thought was reality was nothing more than a lie.
Now she doesn’t know who to trust.

A complicated, beautiful story that defies fate or that was really destined. ❤️

💖 A Surprise Christmas Arc That Kidnapped My Heart! 💖 (5/5 Stars)
This book was an absolute must-read for me! When the author, Hazel Grace, announced the "Surprise Christmas Arc," I knew immediately I needed to have this baby in my clutches, and let me tell you, she did not disappoint!!! Hazel Grace has been holding out on us!!!!!!!

From the moment Bronte stepped onto the page, he was everything I didn't know I needed in a leading man. He's possessive, he's relentless, and his chemistry with our heroine practically set my e-reader on fire. The vibe I was getting was major 365 Days meets a festive, deliciously dark Christmas movie, and I was beyond here for every single, steamy, over-the-top moment.

The plot twist involving the "dream honeymoon" was pure genius. Honestly, if a man isn't willing to track me down and gently kidnap me for a picturesque, snowy holiday, I don't want him! It hit all my favorite tropes: forced proximity, holiday chaos, and a hero who knows exactly what he wants—and takes it.

My queen, Hazel Grace, has completelevy outdone herself with this one. The pacing was flawless, the banter was snappy, and the spice was everything! If you love your holiday romances dark, intense, and with a morally gray hero under the mistletoe, stop what you're doing and one-click this immediately.

Sometimes people aren't whom they appear to be.....

This was my first Christmas book of the season and it did not disappoint. I absolutely loved it and that PLOT TWIST 🤯. Have Yourself A Merried Little Christmas is filled with spice, deception, yearning and obsession. Meirna is a Christmas obsessed woman that runs a non profit that helps the elderly. One conversation with a man helping out and she falls. Without knowing his name she sets out to find him and she (or so she thinks) does. A couple years later shes to be wed to Bobby. After the ceremony she realizes its a case of mistaken identity and things aren't what they appear to be. Her groom is a TWIN! And she has just married Bobby's twin Bronte. Although they are almost identical twins they couldn't be any different. Like fire and ice.
Now given the choice she must choose to still be married to Bronte who loves hard and has yearned for her for years, run back and be with Bobby. Will the truth finally set her free? I highly recommend this book for the holidays if you are into more of a dark romance filled with spice and Christmas

I received this book as an ARC, and once I started it, I couldn’t put it down. Bronte is a scheming schemer if there ever was one—but for all the right (slightly unhinged) reasons. Meirna might be a little flaky for not noticing the difference between the brothers, but hey…it’s a book, right? I didn’t let that get in the way of enjoying the story.

This was a quick, fun read set during Christmas, with a festive holiday backdrop and an ending that wraps everything up in a pretty red ribbon…Meirna included. The spice (🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️) is thrown at you immediately, and the tension never lets up as the lies and deceptions unravel. Watching Meirna navigate them, heal from her horrible ex and his awful family, and decide whether she can truly see herself tied to her ex’s twin in marriage made for an entertaining ride. Bronte proves to her that she is worth doing anything for…and to, as he takes care of her in every way imaginable.

A Holiday Romance That Shocked Me—in the Best Way

Starting this book, I thought it was going to be another sweet Christmas love story. But as I read further and the plot twists kept coming, my mouth was on the floor. Bronte is a very different type of man—in the best way. I understand why Merina didn’t trust him at first, but the chemistry between them was unmatched.

And don’t get me started on Bobby; he was the biggest piece of crap ever.

Even though it may not have started as a typical cozy Christmas romance, it definitely ended as one. Bronte and Merina’s relationship became one of my favorites out of all the books I’ve read. The hoops and obstacles they had to jump through tested their relationship, yet they still came out stronger than ever.

This book had me crying and laughing at the same time. The ending was absolutely beautiful, and I’m so happy it ended the way it did. I’m truly grateful for the chance to read this incredible story early as an ARC.

I loved how this story developed and how the twists keep you hooked and the suspense has you the edge of your seat. I loved the chemistry between the characters and the suspense throughout the story is captivating. The guys are so possessive so unhinged just the way this author always writes her men which I love. I loved the twin vibe and I totally love how sassy Meirna is and how she'll give as good as she gets and doesn't back down, I love her for that. I also love how Bronte is with her and how obsessed but also how protective he is. Also the banter between these characters is great.

This book is full of angst and has lots of spicy moments and while it's also a cosy Christmas read it's filled with twists the reader will not expect.

If you're looking for a holiday season read but want something on the darker side then this book is for you.

Meirna is the independent woman running her own life who's about to marry the love of her life. Or is she?

Bronte is the outcast from his original family. Billionaire heir in his adoptive life. Who will stop at nothing to make Merina his.

When Meirna inadvertently marries the wrong groom and discovers this tidbit on the way to the honeymoon of her dreams. Only to then be told a raft of secrets about the man she thought was the man of her dreams. Will she give the wrong groom a chance to redeem himself? And if she does is redemption even a true possibility?

This holiday special was so out of the norm for me. I'm so use to a light hearted Christmas romcom but the darker romance elements gave Have Yourself A Merried Little Christmas a competitive edge. I must read for Dark Romance readers looking for a holiday treat.

I, too, now love Christmas.
I absolutely adored Meirna. She’s so sassy and fun, even when she’s reeling from multiple betrayals. She’s clever; needling out little truths as the lies are revealed.
Bronte is deranged in the most delicious way. Hazel is so talented at creating unhinged men that I forgive immediately. He’s honestly perfect for Meirna. He doesn’t just support her, he lifts her.
There’s a neat little triangle of tension in this book, with most of it being a lot of great “will she/won’t she,” obviously with me chanting “do it” the whole time. I enjoyed all the little twists and turns as the story goes on. I was captivated from the first page and the plot was just all gas, no brakes from there.
This book is somehow cozy and romantic while also being incredibly suspenseful and twisted. I loved the chaotic drama.

Well Hazel, you had me at Bronte ! This was my first of your books and it certainly won't be my last. There was a cosy Christmas theme painted all the way through this spicy little number and I was not disappointed with either of our main characters. Meirna is a girl who has done amazing things for others through shear personal kindness and determination, Bronte is the piping hot man that will do anything to have her, including maybe pretending to be his twin brother.
I was hooked on the story and flipping from will she stay or will she go was giving me palpitations. For those who love a FMC who doesn't just roll over for the sexy man of MY dreams, then 'Have Yourself a Merried Little Christmas' is for you. Definitely made me a little hot under the collar and a little flushed in the cheeks. Perfect for a warm December night...

This book was such a wild Christmas ride in the best possible way. Hazel Grace managed to pack everything I adore into one holiday story—messy emotions, chaotic family drama, delicious tension, and that addictive pull that makes you say “just one more chapter” until suddenly it’s 3 a.m.

Right from the start, the blend of Christmas charm and a dark family secret grabbed me. What should’ve been a dreamy holiday turns into something twisted and absolutely impossible to look away from.

Hazel Grace has this talent for mixing heat, heartbreak, obsession, and vulnerability so seamlessly that you can’t help falling straight into the chaos.

I really liked this dark romance holiday ARC read. Besties, Bronte is the loveable but morally grey mmc that had me giving my husband side eye. Seriously, he had no right to be so supportive and charming.

Like all the best morally grey men, he built up our fmc, didn't hide who he was (well, maybe a little), and gave her the room to be her whilst being obsessed!

The fmc did not fall into the trap of forgetting who she was and her entire skills etc because a (very) hot guy spoke to her, and gave Bronte a run for his money at every turn.

Also... Christmas!

There were some things that I had to look past (personal issues with the over abundance of 'as hell' in books atm, but tbf that is all authors) and I did expect darker, but it was a nice cosy dark romance holiday read, and I would definitely recommend this novella over the holidays!

"Merried" is not a word. I guess it could be a play on words, but considering that the book is about marriage, "married" would have worked just as well, if not better. This book was also filled with incorrect usage of words and improper grammar that I found abnormal for HG.

The plot was also stupid, since rich people and their backgrounds are easily researched. Meirna didn't do her due diligence in looking up Bobby. Bronte was adopted at 17 or 19 (lack of continuity), which would be somewhere in the press. It made the story a bit flat for me.

I liked the characters and the banter between them. It was sexy, playful, and conversational in the sense that they got to actually know one another. The flashback should have been a prologue in my opinion. It would establish how Bronte and Meirna met and the connection and attraction between them, and how it doesn't feel the same now.

I loved this spicy treat of a book, and I adored Meirna and Bronte. They were absolute perfection as a couple. I love an mc who is a little unhinged and possessive and an absolute simp for his girl. Meirna was in for a shock when she realized she had been duped and been with twin brothers. She’s in for a bigger shock when it turns out that her ‘real fiancée’ is a lying POS, and her stalker is the twin who really has her best interests at heart. That man is going to capture her heart and prove his superior standing if it’s the last thing he does—and he uses every tool at his disposal. Meirna doesn’t back down easily and absolutely makes Bronte fight for it, making him winning not just her hand, but her heart, that much sweeter.

So I definitely didn’t not see the big twist coming. That’s always refreshing. I was literally reading & then like WTF?!

This was a very interesting storyline, I loved the spice and everything but I truly loved the premise of the story. It was very different. I’m waiting for the movie.

I was conflicted for the longest like should she have known better or is she innocent. I actually asked my bf for his opinion after giving him a summary of what was going on because I wasn’t sure how to feel, just because it was all so wild!

The "blurb" I read had already gotten my attention, but the story itself sucked me in right from the start and refused to let go. If you enjoy a morally gray MMC who is utterly obsessed in his love for the FMC then you will LOVE this book. Even with the way Bronte tricked Merina into marrying him, I was rooting for him to win her heart from the beginning. The lengths he went to keep her safe, protected & happy without her even knowing was heartwarming (even if he was doing most of it pretending be his twin). I really appreciated the way she resisted him at first and made him work to earn her heart. I seriously hope you take the time to read this book & that you enjoy it as much as I did.
