Brooke Sinclair thought surviving Stratford would give her and Seth a chance to breathe. Instead, the world closes in tighter.
Whispers of their past refuse to stay buried. A stranger watches their home. A new threat pulls them deeper into a maze of secrets, revenge, and blood they never meant to spill. And through every storm, Seth becomes even more terrifyingly devoted, the kind of love Brooke never expected, and the kind she can’t walk away from.
When a winter trip spirals into something darker, Brooke and Seth must trust each other in ways they never have before. But trust comes with a price… and someone is determined to make them pay.
Love can keep you alive. Obsession might be the only thing that saves you.
B.W. Lacey writes dark romance and psychological thrillers that blur the line between love and obsession. Her stories are cinematic, brutal, and unapologetically raw where love bleeds, burns and sometimes kills.
A lifelong storyteller and teacher, Lacey brings emotional realism to her characters, weaving love, trauma, and violence into hauntingly intimate narratives. Her debut novel, All the Ways I’d Kill for You, introduced readers to Brooke and Seth, two lovers bound by darkness, and became a viral favorite among dark romance fans.
Outside of writing, Lacey fuels her creativity through travel, conventions, and horror marathons. Whether she’s exploring eerie new places or watching her favorite slashers, she’s always collecting inspiration for the next nightmare. Somewhere between plotting murder scenes and motherhood, she makes it all work.
Wow!!! B.W. Lacey did it again. This one is at least as good as the first book, and maybe even a little better.
This book starts off with a BANG, just like the first book. We get more of the horror movie vibes - the suspense, drama and murder - and this book is spicier than the first! This could truly be a spicy horror movie with the way the plot twist and keeps you guessing, and with the stabby vibes and Seth's darkness... it is just perfection.
We catch up with Seth and Brooke after the events of the first book. They've done their best to settle into a normal life. They have a house together, things are good, they're happy and living in domestic bliss. But of course, true to the series, things dont stay that way for long. Seth discovers that someone is stalking them, and its not long after that everything slowly starts to spiral.
Still haunted by their pasts and the events in the first book, they take a trip a hotel with dark history for those horror vibes that Brooke loves. It's meant to be a special trip for them to get away from what's haunting them and to enjoy some time together... But after they arrive it becomes clear that this may not be the experience they had hoped for.
I am even more in love with Seth now, and I still love him and Brooke together. She gets him and loves him despite his darkness, and he loves and protects her with everything that he is. They are a perfect dark romance couple and I am totally invested in them and this series.
The plot is twisty and engaging and I could not put this book down! I read this in about 24 hours because it dug its hooks into me and just would not let go. The cliffhanger!!! OMG! I did NOT see that last plot twist coming and the ending left me on the edge of my seat needing to know what happens next.
Thank you to BW Lacey for the true pleasure of Beta reading this book. You have another well written nail-biter here and I enjoyed every moment of this book. The wait for the third book is going to be absolute torture.
Okay like I said under my review for the first installment of this duet- ** CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS ** this story is DARK… there is a lot of trauma, a lot of carnage but overall I believe the author executed this story beautifully. The MMC was absolutely down bad for the FMC- as she was with him and though he was unhinged af I loved him 🥵 there was aspects of the FMCs personality that annoyed me at times particularly in the first book but overall… I have no criticisms of this duet! It was a ride for sure… but totally worth every second
All the Ways I Would Die for You is the brutal, unflinching second installment in the Psychotic Devotion trilogy, and it does not ease up for even a moment. Picking up where book one left off, the story dives deeper into the twisted, obsessive bond between Seth and Brooke—raising the stakes, the violence, and the emotional intensity.
This is not a soft romance. There is nothing gentle or comforting here. The love on the page is raw, possessive, and frequently brutal, wrapped in danger and psychological tension. Seth remains terrifyingly devoted, and Brooke’s struggle within that devotion adds layers of complexity that kept me fully engaged. Their dynamic is dark, messy, and unsettling in the way dark romance readers often crave.
The pacing is relentless, with scenes that are rough, violent, and emotionally charged. While some moments felt slightly drawn out, the overall tension never truly dips—and the ending? A full-blown cliffhanger that will leave you frustrated in the best possible way and desperate for the final book.
If you’re looking for redemption arcs or tender romance, this isn’t it. But if you want dark obsession, moral gray areas, and a story that isn’t afraid to cross lines, All the Ways I Would Die for You delivers.
⭐ 4 stars — dark, disturbing, and compulsively readable, with a cliffhanger that hurts just right.
Well, this one messed me all the way up. Brooke and Seth, Seth and Brooke. They’re surviving, they’re trying to get back to as “normal” as they can. But, will they ever truly have normal? Seth really cant change his ways and Brooke is dependent on the comfort of him. They’re being watched, toyed with, hunted. What’s suppose to be a get away weekend with a surprise certainly turns into a surprise. Or blood bath. B.W again, has such a phenomenal way of writing. This book is gory and descriptive, it plays out like your favorite horror movie. I would have never guessed who the suspect was until they literally slapped me in the face. The ending freaking SUCKED. I’m nervous and I’m scared. Here’s to book three. Well done B.W well done. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next.
Advance Reader Copy Dark Romance readers....proceed with caution and check your trigger warnings.
This is the 2nd book in the series. so if you haven’t read the first, go read it right now! This book is obsessive, intense, and psychologically dark. Not fluffy. Not healthy. But completely addictive. This isn’t a comfort read. It’s the kind of book that makes you pause, reread lines, and sit in silence after a chapter ends.
I don't want to spoil anything, so just go for it if obsessive morally Grey men are your thing. If you like dark romance that crosses lines and makes you uncomfortable in the best way—this one’s for you.
B.W. Lacey.....you are killing me with the ending...3rd book is needed ASAP!!
This book was ABSOULETLY AMAZING! 5 stars, 5 chili peppers, and OMG the plot twist had my jaw on the floor!!! I never saw it coming. It was one of the best plot twists in a book I've read in a long time. B.W. Lacey did a fantastic job pulling you in and then blowing your mind at the same time!!!
This is the 2nd book in the trilogy (Psychotic Devotion Trilogy) where we pick up with Brooke and Seth and Travis after the events in Stratford. While Brooke & Travis grieve their loss together, Seth is watching over them and doing what Seth does best. Taking care of threats. And protecting Brooke with his life.
After spending Christmas together as a family with with Brooke's aunt and uncle Seth books them a getaway to Everspring Hotel which is known for a past wedding event in the 80's that turned into a slaughter of every guest in attendance. And the Bride who was never found.
Travis is already there for a work conference and catches up with them. A snow storm keeps them stuck in the hotel, roads closed, while guests start to disappear and turn up dead hours later. Who is doing this? Has Seth finally slipped when he forgets his meds for 12 days? Is Brooke involved?
The twist and this cliffhanger ending will have you Shook!!! Must Read! Highly recommend. But make sure to read book 1 first, All the Ways I'd Kill for You.
HOLY FUCK. no words. many words, but also no words. i rated the first book a 4 and the second one a 5 only because there was some dry parts in the middle of the first one, but i did not get that AT ALL with the second book. i could barely tear my eyes away. the end had my jaw dropped all the way past the floor and into hell; no one could of prepared me for seth’s dad to be connected to the murder of brooke’s parents. i knew that grant was probably involved in the murders of the hotel, that wasn’t a surprise, but him being involved in her parents murder too?! that whole storyline was soooo bizarre and not anything i could of guessed. the spicy scenes were really good too - although i did not like how rough seth was that one time. it felt too close to rape to me; but the fact that he was able to apologize and see how much he lost control after made me feel better about it. i have no idea how im going to wait another month for the 3rd book and after that i have no idea what im going to do because at this point i have grown an unhealthy attachment to these characters 😭 i love them so much someone send help. oh but if either seth or brooke die in the 3rd book - B.W Lacey WILL be hearing from my lawyer for emotional and psychological damage 🥰💓

Holy shit 🤯🤯!! That’s how this second book made me feel. It was AMAZING and the twists and turns had me SAT! Brooke and Seth have definitely become one of my favorite book couples, the freaking love, desire, passion and trust they have when put in these shitty situations is to die for!! I loved the murder mystery aspect of this book, kinda like a game of Clue (my favorite game) and had me guessing who it could be. Let me tell you shocked the hell out of me, had me speaking out loud and jaw dropped. Highly recommend this book if you love you a thriller, spice and everything fucking crazy! 5 ⭐️ for me and can’t wait for book 3! 👏🏽👏🏽
I am speechless. The way this book had me in a chokehold is unreal. I went into the book 2 just is blind as I was when I went into book one and I suggest you do the same. BW Lacy is a phenomenal writer and the way she can place you inside of every scene is something I have never experienced before. The emotional debt that we get out of these characters is so incredible for a book that is not only dark romance, but also suspenseful and a little gory. It is every slasher film lovers dream and if you like dark romance, that is the cherry on top.
OH MY GOSH!!!! This was just as good as book one. I didn’t even expect that! THE ENDING!!!!!!! The opening was already intense, I was so drawn it from the get go. Love it! Love the suspense and twists!!! I love the inclusion of both their pasts & the SPICE!!! The spice girrrlll! Yessss!!! Absolutely recommend!
This book was sooo amazing. It’s a perfect blend between dark romance and horror! It feels like I’m waiting a beautiful romantic horror movie. Like one minute the screen is full of sunshine and flowers and the next…it’s darkness, shadows, and shaky shallow breaths. The plot and the cliffhangers are beautiful and brutally constructed. I’m a fan transfixed once again!!!
I don't even have enough good words for this book. Sitting on the edge of my seat for the entire rollercoaster. Seth.... ugh Seth. The amount of emotions I feel for this fictional man are absolutely unbelievable. A true psycho with the most gooey soft spot for his final girl. Brooke, babe, I'm JEALOUS.
Need book 3 tomorrow please cause Idk how I'm supposed to survive until I have answers.
🔥 Chaotic Devotion and an Ending That Will Wreck You 🔥
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
If you thought book one had you in a chokehold, just wait until you dive into this one. This sequel absolutely delivers in every chaotic, addictive, heart-pounding way possible. I went in already obsessed with Brook and Seth, but somehow their story became even more intense, emotional, and completely unputdownable.
The second half of this book had me spiraling in the best way. The action ramps up so fast and so hard that I genuinely felt like I was holding my breath through multiple scenes. The tension, the danger, the stakes, everything just explodes off the pages. And Seth… wow. He is still everything. Protective, dominant, dangerously devoted, and so unbelievably swoon-worthy. The way he shows up for Brook had me melting.
Brook as the final girl is literal perfection. She is strong without losing her softness, resilient without losing her heart. She feels real, relatable, and honestly, she is the kind of heroine you see pieces of yourself in. Watching her navigate everything thrown at her made me root for her even harder.
Their chemistry is pure fire. Every moment they share is electric, emotional, and completely drool-worthy. You can feel how deeply connected they are, even in the middle of chaos and fear. It is that kind of intense, consuming love that keeps you glued to the story.
And that cliffhanger… I am not okay. I need book three immediately because I have to know what happens next. This series is quickly becoming one of my indie dark romance obsessions, and I am so excited to watch this author continue to rise. If you love horror with romance, protective alpha energy, and stories that keep your heart racing from start to finish, you need this book on your TBR.
Trust me, you will not regret falling into this world. 🔥📖
Okay but WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?!?! Because excuse me?! You cannot just drop a bomb like that and expect me to go on with my life like everything is normal. I need the next book. Immediately. No questions. No waiting. 😭
All the Ways I’d Die for You had me locked in from the start, but that twist?? I swear I did not see that coming. I was so confident I had it figured out… and then the author said “that’s cute” and ripped the rug right out from under me. Jaw. On. The. Floor.
And Travis?! Stop it. I love that man. The lighthearted, slightly chaotic, funny energy he brings is exactly what this story needed. He balances out all the tension and darkness with that charm that makes you smile even when you’re stressed. I swear every time he showed up I was like, okay breathe, we’re fine… (we were not fine).
This book had me yelling, flipping pages like a crazy person, and questioning everyone. And now I’m just sitting here like… WTH did I just read and when can I have more??
If you love twists that actually shock you, characters you get attached to, and endings that leave you slightly unwell, then this one is for you. Just be prepared to suffer a little at the end. 🖤📖
Excuse me?!?!! Everything about this had me gagged, like the mystery/thriller/suspense of it all, I love this plot and the way it had me thinking all diff scenarios to figure out what’s gonna happen next. The violence in this one is intense, the obsession even more so.
Listen, I know I said In my last review that the FMC, Brooke had some secrets of her own and I was unsure where her character development was going? Well she really came into her own in this book and I felt for her in so many ways. The chapters where she’s in therapy discussing her trauma and past? Phewww that hit close to home and it was so refreshing to read. We learn a lot more about her, which really helped me resonate with her character. And Seth?? I love him so much more in book 2. Travis also is everything to me and if we get a book on him I’d be v happy.
Oh yeah don’t get me started on the cliffhanger 😩 I’m still staring at a wall thinking it through. I need the 3rd book ASAP to feel normal again.
When I tell you I want to read anything B.W. Lacey writes now, I’m not playing.
If you are reading this you’ve already read book one so you know what you are getting into. Enjoy !!
Once again the opening scene is graphic but good. It made you think ok where is this gonna go. This hotel in the middle of no where surrounded by stories of death and missing people. A literal ghost hotel with its own unsolved mystery.
Seth and Brooke go for a 5 night get away as a Christmas gift to Brooke.
The elevator scene is 🥵🔥.
The news years eve party turns into what I’d describe as a scene from Clue. I love it. Who are or is the killer(s) ? How many killers are there? How many victims have been killed ? The investigation !!! The cliffhanger these leaves off on is keeping me on the edge of my seat which this author is apparently very good at doing.
Things sure are heating up want to know more ? You’ll have to read to find out. Happy Reading.
This book picks up really well from where book one left off. It deals with themes of grief and trauma, and trying to remember who you are when you’re in those deep scary, dark places, but you have your dark romance at the forefront still. Intertwined with all of those things you’ve got a thriller mystery smack in the middle of it. This book was wonderful if I didn’t have a full-time job I probably would’ve finished it in a day. You still have your scary boyfriend vibes, your deliciously dirty smut scenes and your Gomez and Morticia Adams romance. I’m dying for a book 3 I know it’s gonna be out soon. I’m gonna be wearing out the floor pacing in anticipation.
Whoa. The devotion goes DEEPER in this book. WAY deeper. The spice gets hotter, and the adventures get even more twisted within this sequel. I cannot get enough of Seth and Brooke. If you liked the thriller movie vibes of book one, then be prepared for book 2. But we are going to take it back to The Shining. The mystery continues... and if you think you know what's going on, you really don't. ABSOLUTE jaw-dropping ending, with multiple surprises leaving you scrambling for book 3. Thank goodness, there isn't a long wait! 5 stars, 5 chili peppers. If dark romance is your vibes, you will absolutely enjoy this.
Once again insane from the very beginning! This author has a way of hooking you into the story so quickly and having you get attached to the characters but still finds a way to surprise you! For sure my favorite indie author, and I love this book just like I love the first one. I was not ready for that ending. It had me staying up till 3am because I couldn't put it down. I am now eagerly waiting for the next book because I need more of this story!!!
I don’t want to give away anything but this book is absolutely an amazing read. The love and devotion from Brooke and Seth is beyond words. I’ve always been able to see an ending and this one I never seen coming. I was stuck in “what the hell” Hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read. Now the wait for All athe Ways I’d Live for You.
THAT LAUNDRY SCENE. THE KISS!! ANOTHER BLOODY TWIST I DID NOT SEE COMING ONLY FOR IT TO END THERE?! Gosh darn it Miss Lacey, you had me screaming why why why at the end. I hope there is justice served in the next book which I can’t wait. I need to know if they’re going to be ok. Someone hold my hand and give me a soft pretzel.
Oh the twisted and the cliff hanger at the end! The graphic of murders and gore, BW Lacey you sure do know how to write graphic and keep people at the edge.
OMG!! BW Lacey new queen of smut and plot twist?? I was hoping that book 2 would be as good as book one, I didn’t expect it to be better!! When I tell you the twist hit me like a ton of bricks!! The cliffhanger is so worth it!! I am beyond honored that I got to beta read this!!!
I have no words. I actually have NO. WORDS. Speechless. I’m speechless. I actually threw my phone and smacked my table when I finished this book. The last 10%? No thank you. I simply refuse to acknowledge the ending of this book. I actually don’t even know wtf I’m supposed to do with myself. I have no answers, no brain function left, no desire to be a person. I will be staring at the wall for the next 3-5 business days after that fucking ending. B.W. Lacey count your fucking days bc HOWWW could you DOOOOOOO THIS TO MEEEEEE😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Okay okay. Besides the few grammatical errors (just some missed periods and commas), this series so far is actually insane. I usually don’t go for thrillers as much as I used to bc they never actually have good plot twists and while I’ll say the plot twist in this book felt a bit more random than the first book, it certainly still hit. I was lucky enough to read this book from an ARC file (thank you Queen🫶🫶) and WOW am I so glad I did. I will be thinking about this book for a while.
Seth is such a good MMC, and it’s a really nice, fresh take on a morally pitch black/gray MMC who doesn’t waver on those morals, if anything he gets darker as the story goes on since book 1.
Our FMC Brooke kind of frustrated me in the first book but I do like how after their “lore” (if you will) was established, their relationship progressed at a nice pace and I felt like the simultaneous lack of character development while also ample development in her mental awareness of how she behaves in her relationship was portrayed so so well, written so nicely and HUMANLY! It’s nice to see a main character have real, human breakdowns and regressions and trauma bonds/PTSD displayed in (I felt) a way that stayed true to our character and story.
Guys I had 22 seconds of hope in this book and the ONLY gripe I have is that it felt like the pregnancy announcement was sorta random? Idk. I loved the inclusion of Seth’s mom, I loved how we got her side of the story and how she kept it from him and the way Seth was off his meds for a while and the reveal of the goat mask YALL OMFG. Uncle John hurt my feelings. Yeah fuck grant but UNCLE JOHN!!!!!! That hurt. So is her aunt also evil????? AND WHERE IS LUNA. WHERE IS LUNA!!!!!!!!!!! SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO STAY WITH HER AUNT AND UNCLE AT THEIR HOUSE SO WHERE ISSSS SHEEEEEEEE.
The way this book ended almost sets us up for a Travis spin off if this is meant to be an interconnected series of duologies/standalones but also leaves room for a 3rd book. One other slight thing I had is I felt like it was paced inconsistently at times, a bit slow in the beginning 40-50%, but it really picked up to a nice almost fast (without being rushed) pace from 50% and on. I’m dying to know who the mysterious contact was, AND I NEED TO KNOW IF BROOKE AND SETH ARE DEAD.
Guys. I understand this isn’t a fantasy. I don’t expect a squeaky clean HEA tied up nice in a bow but FOR THE LOVE OF FUCK, I need Seth and B to live. Or at least Seth tbh 💀
Travis man. You’re my last hope atp. If the next book (assuming there will be one) doesn’t pick up right where it left off, I’ll be crying myself to sleep until further notice. Thank you.
THANK YOU BW LACEY FOR THE ARC READ THIS WAS SUCH A TOE CURLING HEAD FUCK OF A READ I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT.
If you like high spice, burn the world for his girl MMC’s and murder mysteries, this is for sure right up your alley. Now……..For me? A serial killer MMC? Yeah. Say absolutely fucking less.
I need to marinate on this book for a bit but for now I’m giving her 4.2 stars. Just read it!!!! Go!! IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!
Edit: guys I’m so dumb it literally says it’s a freaking trilogy. Moving right along. I’ll be biting my nails along with Brooke in wait for book 3.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I don’t even know how to start this review without sounding unhinged, but honestly? That feels fitting for this book. From the very first page, this story grips you by the throat and does not let go. Seth and Brooke are not a normal couple. They are obsessive, co-dependent, violent, deeply devoted, and completely unhinged in the most intoxicating way possible. And somehow, you root for them anyway. The tension between them is feral. Their love isn’t soft or gentle — it’s possessive, raw, and borderline apocalyptic. When Seth tells Brooke, “When you go, I go,” it doesn’t feel like a dramatic line. It feels like a vow carved into bone. The cemetery scene? Insane. Romantic. Twisted. Him promising to kill whoever buried her and then put a bullet in his own head just to follow her? Beautifully deranged. And the smut? 100%. No breaks. No mercy. It’s explicit, intense, and emotionally charged in a way that makes it impossible to skim. Mausoleum sex? Diabolical. The dominance? Off the charts. Seth is unhinged but worships her at the same time, and that dynamic is addictive. The “so warm, so mine” energy never drops. Not once. But what makes this book hit harder than just dark spice is Seth’s mind slowly fracturing in real time. He misses killing. He misses the routine. The planning. The control. And now he’s off his meds — twelve days, maybe thirteen — and you can feel the spiral coming before he even does. The hallucinations of Luke? Chilling. The way Luke taunts him at the crime scene, questioning whether Seth blacked out and did it himself? That paranoia creeps under your skin. Because even Seth isn’t fully sure of himself anymore. And then the hotel. The murder. The snowstorm trapping everyone inside. Grant watching, waiting to slap cuffs on them. The PI chained in the basement. The tension building like a live wire. You can feel the hunt begin. Seth isn’t just surviving — he’s calculating. He knows they’re convenient suspects. He knows the narrative is already written. So instead of running, they decide to hunt back. That shift? So good. And then the hallway attack. The tiger mask. The axe. The unstable cop firing wildly. Brooke launching herself forward without hesitation. When she stabs the officer in the neck to save Seth? That moment changes everything. It’s not just Seth protecting Brooke anymore. She chooses him the same way he chooses her. Violence and devotion blur completely. And the aftermath? Devastating. Brooke breaking down because she killed a cop. Seth already thinking five moves ahead. And then— “I’m pregnant.” The air left my lungs. Seth’s internal thoughts about the baby wrecked me. For the first time, he isn’t the most dangerous thing in the room. He can’t control this. He can’t protect it with violence. He can’t save it from himself. The idea that she’s carrying his blood — his darkness — his curse? That hit harder than any murder scene. And just when you think you understand what’s happening… That plot twist. WHAT. No warning. No mercy. It flips everything on its head and then has the audacity to end on a cliffhanger. I actually stared at the last page in disbelief. You cannot end a book like that and expect me to be okay. This series keeps escalating — emotionally, psychologically, physically. Seth’s walls are crumbling. Someone knows what he did on Christmas. There’s another hunter in the shadows. And now there’s a baby involved. The stakes have never been higher. This book is dark, obsessive, spicy, violent, and completely addictive. It’s not “morally grey.” It’s pitch black — and I loved every second of it. I need book three immediately.
I started this book like a normal, mentally stable reader. By chapter three I was gripping my phone ready to message this author about how shes got me in a tailspin, but I refrained and held on like dried blood. 🥵🥵🥵
This book is not romance.
This is obsession with a pulse.
The kind of devotion that crawls out of the shadows, sits down next to you, and says: “You’re not leaving, are you?”
And apparently my answer was no because I devoured this entire thing like a gremlin that discovered caffeine. The characters in this book are not walking red flags. They are a full parade of crimson banners being launched from a burning castle. And yet somehow… Somehow… I was rooting for them.🙏🙏😭😭
Every chapter had me going through the five stages of dark romance reader grief:
curiosity concern shock acceptance unhinged support
At several points I had to physically stop reading and stare at the wall like: “This is a terrible decision.” “This is deeply unhealthy.” “Why am I so invested??”
B.W. Lacey has mastered the art of writing characters that feel like beautiful chaos wrapped in obsession. The tension is feral. 💀💀💀 The devotion is dangerous. The emotional intensity feels like standing too close to a fire and realizing you probably should step back… …but you don’t. You just stand there. Burning. Turning pages.
The title All the Ways I'd Die for You sounds dramatic until you realize halfway through the book that it’s actually the most honest description possible. Because the love in this story isn’t gentle. It’s the kind of devotion that destroys logic, burns down sanity, and then politely asks if you’d like to watch the world burn with them. And apparently I would.
By the end of this book I was sitting there like:
“Well… that was emotionally violent.”
"Literally the best slasher dark romance."
Five stars.
Would spiral again. Every Single Time For This AMAZING AUTHOR!!!!!
If you love: • obsessive devotion • morally gray characters who make terrible decisions • romance that feels like a loaded weapon • tension that crawls under your skin
You will inhale this book.
I fear this series isn’t romance. It’s a beautifully written psychological addiction. 🖤🖤🖤
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 Star Review — All the Ways I’d Die for You by B.W. Lacey If you give me a tattooed, alternative, horror-movie-loving FMC, I’m already interested… but B.W. Lacey didn’t stop there. Add in a serial unaliving, organ-harvesting MMC who dishes out justice with serious Dexter vibes, an unhinged and completely unpredictable brother who keeps the tension sky-high, and a best friend whose dad just happens to be the chief of police—and suddenly you’ve got chaos in the absolute best way. This book had me hooked from the start. The dynamic between the characters was addictive, the darker elements were handled in a way that made the story feel gritty and intense, and the constant sense that everything could explode at any moment kept the pages flying. The FMC’s alternative, horror-loving personality gave the story such a fun edge, and the morally gray MMC? Let’s just say if you love a man who walks the line between justice and danger, you’re going to eat this up. And the spice? Absolutely unbelievable. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Every scene hit exactly the way it needed to—hot, intense, and perfectly placed within the story. Overall, this book was dark, chaotic, addictive, and completely unforgettable. It gave me morally gray romance, twisted tension, and spice that delivered. What have you done to me with this book? Because it was everything—and then some. 🔥📚
This book kept me on the edge of my chair from the first page to the last. Just when Brooke Sinclair thinks surviving Stratford might finally give her and Seth room to breathe, the story tightens its grip and refuses to let go. The tension is relentless—whispers of the past, a watcher in the shadows, and a mounting sense of dread that something is about to explode at any moment.
Seth’s devotion is equal parts terrifying and intoxicating. His love isn’t safe or soft—it’s obsessive, consuming, and unwavering in a way that makes you question where protection ends and possession begins. And yet, I couldn’t look away. The bond between Brooke and Seth is dark, intense, and emotionally charged, making every decision feel dangerous and earned.
The winter trip takes everything to another level, twisting the plot into something colder, bloodier, and impossible to predict. Trust becomes a weapon, love becomes survival, and obsession becomes the only thing standing between them and total destruction.
Gripping, unsettling, and addictive—this is the kind of story that sinks under your skin and stays there long after the final page. If you love dark romance, suspense, and morally complex characters, this one is an absolute must-read
The last few chapters were SOUL SUCKING!!!! I was literally on the edge of my seat; scared TF outta my mom bc I gasped & yelled “ OMG NO!!!!” She jumped & screamed “WHAT!?!?” 😂🤪 But jeezus, I thought the breadcrumbs were leading me up to something, then NOPE- the plot twist sure did twist TF outta me!!! The rollercoaster of emotions were stressing me out, bc poor Seth can’t catch a break!! I’m devastated in the worst way! Gah! I’ll just stop right here bc I’m afraid I’ll drop some spoilers & we don’t want that!
BW Lacey’s writing is always “hook, line & sinker” from the very beginning. Amazing writing; love the emotional wrecking ball the story takes me on. Very relatable characters, & omg the plots & storyline itself!? GOLDEN! Of course Seth is bada$$ in this book, especially toward the ending. Cliffhanger wasn’t too bad, I think I can be patient enough for book 3!! 🫠
* I was sent a free copy of this book for review consideration but all opinions are my own.
