We Are Yours: Book One

Rate this book
From Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson comes an angsty, forced proximity love triangle where secrets test brotherly bonds and music brings them together, only to have destiny threaten to tear them apart.

I’ve loved two men in all my life.
Two extremely different men.
Where Julius and I blossomed from a loving friendship, Kraven and I stemmed from nothing
but hatred. A very thin line exists between love and hate, and I crossed it with both.
I fell in love with each of them at different times, in different ways, and with different words
and actions. Cause and effect has always been our problem.
This isn’t just a love triangle between the two men I love.
It's worse.
Because misery is the only certainty when you're in love with two brothers.
And now I'm faced with the impossible choice. Though nothing could’ve prepared me for
the devastation when they both declared, “We are yours.”
Then, all in one breath, they begged…

“Now… say you’re mine.”

M. Robinson delivers a heart-shattering, 5-star masterpiece! This book is a raw, unflinching dive into emotional turmoil, solidifying her title as the Queen of Angst.

The story centers on Isla and the magnetic, devastatingly complicated brothers, Julius and Kraven. Their connection is instant and fierce, but the secrets and shared circumstances surrounding them create a relentless, gut-wrenching struggle. You will feel the immense angst as Isla navigates her conflicting desires and the brothers fight for a love that seems impossible.

The heartbreaking moments are pure emotional devastation. Robinson expertly wrings every tear out of the reader, showcasing a fierce, enduring passion that defies all logic.

A mandatory read for angst romance fans who want complex characters and a story that leaves you breathless.

Just wow! This love triangle between Julius, Kraven and Isla will have you on the edge of your seat within the first chapter. Isla is on the run from an abusive foster home when she runs into Julius and Kraven playing the piano and violin in a subway. They save her that night and she ends up living with them. During her time living with them, she builds a friendship with them both but different. Both brothers end up falling in love with her and she loves them both in return but in different ways. The angst throughout this whole book keeps you on the edge of a cliff waiting for the inevitable fall that is coming. Isla heals them in different ways just like they heal her in different ways. But once you make it to the end she’s faced with not only with a decision but she gives a shocking revelation only for something else to happen as well that tears them apart even more. This is a cliffhanger of cliffhangers that will have you yelling and wanting to throw the book at the wall. I can’t wait to read book 2 and see where these characters go next in this wild journey they’re on.

“Right in front of me, two brothers raged war with demons I couldn’t see, but feel.”

“Nothing compares to you,” I vowed.

Julius and Kraven are two brothers who have been on their own for most of their lives. Julius has done everything he can to protect and care for his younger brother Kraven. Through their music, they can escape, along with making a few extra bucks. The kind of music that captivates and heals your soul. One soul in particular…. Isla.

Isla is on the run. Escaping a terrible situation with no where to go. Until she hears it, beautiful music. Their music that draws her in. She has found comfort, stability and a home with these two brothers. One is misunderstood, the dark horse of the family. The other one has the world on his shoulders and will do anything to keep his family together. But what happens when the family you’ve been working so hard to protect turns on you and falls for the girl that you have declared is yours?

Aaahhhh Angst, heartbreak, betrayal, passion. Just a few words to describe M. Robinson’s newest book, “We Are Yours.” This love triangle is intense because you root for both brothers! I’m more of a Julius girl which is funny because Kraven is the type of character I normally gravitate towards. And that cliffhanger?! How dare you?! Thank you for trusting me to read and review this book! I cannot wait for part 2!

THIS. BOOK!!! Are you kidding me? Crushed. Trauma bonding is real and these 3 have gone through it. I wasnt entirely sure if I was going to be that into this book because of how young they are, but my goodness...I love them. I need book 2 immediately. Im honestly not sure who i love more. I think its Kraven honestly. He's broody, moody, and so broken.

Be back in 10!!! Uuuugh. Devastated.

Wow! What a whirlwind Isla, Julius and Kravens story is. They all had a rough childhood and bonded in different ways to each other. Just trying to get through life and make it to adulthood. They're story has anguish, heartbreak, loss, trauma, and even love.

Only, which one will it be that ends up destroying their relationships? And for better or for worse?

We Are Yours will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. The story between Isla, Julius and Kraven will have you begging for more. All three of them don’t have the best of childhood. And the bond they share is remarkable to see.

Isla runs away from her foster home when the unthinkable happens. When she runs into the Knightly brothers everything changes. She finds solace with Julius. He wants to keep her safe. And will do everything to protect her.

Julius is the protective older brother by a year. He will do anything to keep Kraven safe. Kraven is a bit of a wild card. Love his tattoos, loves to push boundaries. When Isla comes into the picture you’ll see different side of each other brother. When feelings change, nothing will ever be the same.

I honestly haven’t read a good love triangle story in a long time. And this was had me hooked from the beginning. I’m not even sure who Isla will choose in the end. They both bring out different sides to her. And you also see a different side in them as well. And that ending was everything and I can’t wait to see how all this will end. I’m desperately waiting for the next book.

Arc was provided for honest review.

I just can't wait for the rest of Julius, Kraven and Isla's story. The beginning was emotional, from them meeting to the life they started to build, and I know the rest will be. I definitely didn't see what happened in the end coming. The chemistry was good and it was well written.

4/4.25 ⭐️

We Are Yours by M. Robinson is the first book in a duet series that follows a Love Triangle Romance between Isla Fox and the Knightly brothers; Golden Boy and the oldest Julius and Bad Boy younger brother Kraven. All through the telling of their multiple perspectives.

While I don’t like Love Triangle Romances, mainly due to my favourite MMC never being chosen. Something I can’t deal with, especially when he tends to be the better choice.
There was just something about this book that had me wanting to read it regardless.
Plus it also helped knowing that author Monica didn’t even know who Isla would end up with. Unlike other love triangles I have read, where it is obvious the author decided from the get go of their favourite MMC being the hero and making it known in the story itself that he will be who the FMC chooses.

Author Monica truly bought all the angsty-ness in book 1.
So much so it came pouring out in the droves, causing me to be all up in knots throughout to the point of not being able to handle the anxiety and anxiousness of not wanting or being able to wait to know. That I jumped the gun, and dear lawd I was not ready for it.

There was also the unleashing of super emotionally charged waves as well with author Monica putting you through the wringer. Riding through all the ups and downs, alongside many highs and lows going back and forth with all the pushing and pulling.
Then again it was to be expected given the budding relationship between Isla and Julius and Isla and Kraven, since it was a Love Triangle.
One thing for sure was, despite both relationships going through its own waves, they could not have been any more different in the same way the Knightly brothers were.
It was like night and day, oil and vinegar, light and dark, not just from how the relationships developed. As well as from how it all began between Isla and Julius and Isla and Kraven.

“Where Julius’s and my relationship blossomed from a loving friendship, Kraven’s and mine stemmed from nothing but hatred.”

The drama, secrets, lies and deceit kept the story gaining track in pushing onwards. Having you entranced in wonder of what will happen and where it will go when it comes to the Love Triangle journey aspect for both Isla and Julius and Isla and Kraven.

The way author Monica wrote the story made you feel for both Knightly brothers and not just because of how different they were. Seeing as they were complete opposites in personality and the way of living. Yet the same in being two broken and tortured souls from the life they lived and suffered through together.
Through their POV chapters, we see Julius and Kraven’s characters develop in the unravelling of their layers, all expressed within their inner monologue. Allowing us to see and learn about their inner turmoil, feelings, thoughts and demons they were fighting.

“The more I learned about the brothers, the more I realized they were nothing alike. Complete opposites in almost everything.”

It was the same case for Isla, who too was a broken and tortured soul, given her character development that was explored through the unravelling of her layers within the progression of the narrative.
Though considering it is a duet, something tells me we still have more to uncover. Especially with how it ended.

What surprised me upon reading was I didn’t necessarily gear towards only one brother all throughout. Sure I did lean towards Julius more at times, but that didn't stop me from feeling for Kraven at times too.
Considering both the brothers had their ups and downs, it had me rooting for each of them at different times and moments. Which is usually a rarity when reading Love Triangle Romances. But with how well Monica wrote the characters Julius and Kraven, you couldn’t help but flip flop between the two.

I will say due to the many time jumps, it would’ve been nice to know the exact time of year with the mentioning of a date or month. Just because it was hard to keep a track of what time of year it was, as it was never really mentioned.

The way We Are Yours continued to build up towards the end will have you moving closer and closer until you are on the edge of your seat.
From the growing suspense that reeled you in deeper, given the anticipation alongside the angsty-ness. It will have you devouring each and every page all the more faster than ever.
Ending on some explosive bangs! Although some were expected, none the less it will still leave you in shock!

All I can say is after finishing We Are Yours author M. Robinson had me screaming internally in want and need for the next book Say You’re Mine ASAP! So I can finally know where Isla, Julius and Kraven’s story will go from there. Which relationship will be endgame and how it will end after it is revealed once and for all.

I’m just going to dive straight into this review. I initially liked the direction of the story and how it leaned into gritty themes. It felt like a solid foundation for what was to come. However, around the 60% mark, it lost me. While I did like the characters Isla, Kraven, and Julius, the constant time jumps from weeks to months fell flat for me. The angst never really landed because those time jumps were where the emotional shifts and relationship development happened, yet we weren’t shown the buildup. Unfortunately, these characters wont leave a lasting impression on me.

The mother storyline is where things really started to fall apart. After seven years, she suddenly shows up, hugging them and calling them “my boys.” The brothers clearly don’t want her there and harbor a lot of resentment, yet Isla immediately clings to the hope that she could finally have a mother figure. Next chapter this woman is organising Kraven’s birthday and shopping with Isla, and then in the following chapter, Isla is devastated when she doesn’t show up for her birthday after promising she would. I understand the trauma and the longing for a maternal figure and all Isla has been through. But there was no real foundation built between Isla and Melody, so the emotional felt by Isla didn’t make sense to me.

I have many questions:

- What happened to Isla foster dad?
- Did Isla have to give a statement to police for the fighting incident Kraven got locked up for? If so
- Why didn’t the police interrogate her?
- Is it really that easy to get them out of Juvenile facility?

The brothers also felt inconsistent. One is constantly angry yet fiercely protective of Isla, while the other one is meant to be level-headed and runs away when it gets tough. I know they’re between 16–18 years old, but at times the fighting over Isla felt cringey and predictable in how it would play out. Lastly, the pregnancy storyline wasn’t necessary it came across more as shock value than something that added meaning. I found myself questioning why it was included at all.

This does end on a cliffhanger, but unfortunately, I won’t be continuing as this book just wasn’t for me but might be for you.

Oh my goodness... This book was a FREAKING STORM and I mean, it will sweep you off, throw you into a whirlwind and toss you out in a way that you'll have your head spinning yet asking and wanting for more.

Mrs. Robinson, indeed, does ANGST in the most delicious and addictive way and this book will give you tons of it with the contradictions and swarm of Butterflies you will feel but with A HUGE CONFLICT, as to which brother is it?

I devoured this ride in a day, and that's a feat because I had a packed one and yet I squeezed in every minute I could, as the story has this high voltage, dangerous mixture of emotions and feelings that keeps you totally hooked.

I felt that prologue was so strong with what happens with Isla and I really felt for that girl so much right from the start.

I thought our dear author would ease us in slowly with the angst but no.
We have two brothers doing their best to survive on their own. Actually, Julius is doing his best to take care of his brother, who's a trouble maker and only a year younger to him.

Isla comes like both, a breath of fresh air in their lives for one brother and for other, she's a storm to be avoided.
I really loved the huge difference in connection that Isla has to Julius and then to kraven.

Because Kraven doesn't listen to anyone, is in your face rude and Julius is the responsible and the caring one.

Yet, slowly Jealousy starts building when where only one brother cared and wanted Isla, now the other wants to barge in too and oh my goodness.... The delicious drama and the tug of feelings, that are all over the same girl...HAD ME IN IT'S CLUTCHES.

Just like Isla, I was conflicted with which brother I would side on as their troubled pasts really made me feel for them both.

Mind you both brothers were like different ends of a spectrum personality wise but Isla brought calmness to them while also she had individual needs and comfort zones with each brother.

This tumultuous and slow burn, delicious ride will break you, toss you up and make you feel oh so much and that freaking cliffy... WHAT... REALLY... WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW??? I have so many questions and I NEED that next book asap. Loved this one.

Cliffhanger? Yes, but next book is coming 02.10.26

Do I recommend it? YES!!!!!

Tropes: Contemporary Romance, Love Triangle, High Angst, Two Brothers/Her In Between, Healing Through Music, He Only Softens For Her, Too Much Want/Not Enough Time, Hate To Love You, The Lone Wolf vs. The Golden Boy, Secrets Waiting To Tear Them Apart, Touch Her & /I Already Did, Family Saga, Forced Proximity/Roommates, On A Journey, The One Who Got Away/The One Who Stayed, Destiny

This story just grabbed a part of my soul and, then, took a piece of it as I finished the last page. Monica weaved a painful tale full of angst but beauty as well. The moments of intensity bled through the pages. I just don't know how these authors do it. Isla, Kraven, and Julius were created from the depths of her heart and soul, that much was obvious. I fell in love with each one of them at the right time and place. I understood what made up each character as well as the decisions they made. I cheered, I yearned, I cried, and I loved. The lone wolf and the golden boy have a piece of my heart. 90% of the book was artistically crafted as it created a beautiful tapestry playing in my mind's eye. I feel like I highlighted way more than I left alone. Usually when an incredible book ends on a cliffhanger, I'm dying to read the next book, but I can honestly say, I'm terrified this time. To Monica I beg, please don’t break me too much. But I trust your writing, and I know, like other brilliant authors out there, you will present an ending with a perfectly tied bow. I just don't know how many tears will have to be shed before I get there. But, I will not be missing it. For those reading this review, prepare yourself, and have a glass of wine at the ready with many tissues. But don't miss it. The final book releases next month. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

♡♡♡Edited to add: I had never really heard "Experience" by Ludovico Einaudi. After finishing "We Are Yours", I listened to it and immediately experienced every word I'd just read all over again. It was simply breathtaking.

My heart was captivated and beating out of my chest from the very beginning and I knew I would be hanging on for dear life because this story was going to change me forever. I think I went through every emotion reading this book. Three people so interconnected but so lost in the process of being found. This story is as raw, breathtaking and intense as it is heartbreaking. The longing, sacrifice, doom and pain these three go through is gut wrenching but hope and love are weaved through like music notes played dramatically and beautifully on my heart! I usually don’t read stories with characters this young anymore but the way it was written I actually forgot as I was reading until it was brought to my attention. Isla, Julius and Kraven have been through three lifetimes worth of trauma in this first book. I’m not usually a fan of love triangles or cliffhangers but I honestly became invested and I changed my mind throughout of who I was rooting for Isla to end up with. Monica Robinson, you broke me with the different firsts, the little figurines, her birthday presents and the promises she made to their mom. Mouse, Kitty and Melody were such pivotal names and I gave Monica a high five in my head for them. I wanted to scream at M though when that charm bracelet and the charm stabbed me in the heart in two completely different ways!
I felt like I was torn between two brothers while my heart was bleeding all over the place. Who will Isla choose - the lone wolf or the golden boy? My heart prays maybe she’ll keep both and my mind says it’s impossible! I need this conclusion ASAP!

We Are Yours* by M. Robinson is everything you’d want from an emotionally charged romance, without tipping into melodrama or manipulation. This novel stands out for how honestly it deals with longing, heartbreak, and second chances. Robinson’s writing style is direct but never cold; every sentence feels like it comes from someone who’s lived through the mess and magic of complicated love.

The characters are multi-dimensional—you’ll find yourself rooting for them, sometimes frustrated with them, but always invested. There’s real vulnerability here, the kind that leaves you feeling raw and hopeful at the same time. Robinson excels at showing how old wounds and unfinished business can shape people, yet doesn’t drag the story down with endless angst. Instead, the narrative finds a balance: it lets the pain breathe, but always leaves a window cracked for hope.

What really sets *We Are Yours* apart is how genuine the pacing feels. The chemistry between the leads is built up slowly, never rushed, and their connection isn’t forced. It also explores themes of forgiveness and growth in a way that feels earned rather than easy. Supporting characters aren't just background noise; they have stories of their own and keep the main plot from feeling insular.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of M. Robinson or totally new to her work, you’ll find plenty to savor here. Expect a lot of heart, a dash of humor, and just enough twists to keep the pages turning late into the night. This is the kind of book that lingers after you close it, making you reflect on your own idea of forgiveness, belonging, and love. No spoilers—just trust that the journey is worth it.

It's been a while since M. Robinson has created a tale of love, friendship, betrayal and a rivalry unlike anything but when she does be prepared. Right from the start when she introduces readers to Kraven and Julius you know these two will not make the story easy which is awesome. These two have it all in spades yet in many ways you can't help but wonder who do you really root for in the book. Two brothers yet so opposite from each other makes you wander how can they really be brothers. Kraven is always in trouble, broody, complicated always the life of the party. Then we have the golden boy, Julius, the responsible one over Kraven. He is the one that you go to for help and sadly the one who had to grow up real quickly in this book. Two misunderstood brothers yet it is the girl that brings them to a stand point they never saw coming. Isla is a young girl who is at a point in life she never imagined but fate has something in store for her that circles around the two brothers. All she has known in her life is to fight and survive something the brothers know oh so well. Three people in many ways similar yet one of them has to choose where they want to be forever. M. Robinson not only knocked it with this book but this is part of a duet and yet there is still many decisions for Isla and the brothers to make. Can't wait to see which brother will win?

❤️ The Queen of Angst is Back!

This is the first of a two-part series that immediately pulls you into a captivating love triangle between Isla, Kraven, and Julius right from the start.

Isla has loved two men all her life—one a friend, the other an enemy. They are complete opposites: one a golden boy, the other a lone wolf. The story kicks off when Isla escapes an abusive foster home and finds Kraven and Julius playing piano and violin in the subway. They rescue her that night, and she ends up living with them as roommates.

She grows close to both brothers. Kraven and Julius each fall in love with her, and she loves them both, but in different ways. This contrasting attraction forms a gripping love triangle that keeps you hooked throughout. The story is full of tension and emotion. Isla helps heal the brothers, and they help heal her.

The plot includes family drama, secrets, and a twist no one saw coming. It ends on a huge cliffhanger that will leave you yelling and desperate for the next book!

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for book 2 to see what unfolds!

M. Robinson is going back to her angsty romance era and I am here for it. We Are Yours is a heartbreaking love triangle with three beautifully broken and complex souls. Each heart loves and hurts in unique way and I hope, like me, you will have a very difficult time to make your choice.

Julian practically raised himself and his brother Kraven when his addict abusive parents abandoned them. They rescue Isla when she was running away from her nightmare of foster house. They were all very young and their hearts were tormented and shaped by trauma. This was bound to be messy. Julian is the "golden boy" but no one knows the burden he carries to protect and provide for Kraven and Isla. He is so sweet and caring but his golden side is being eclipsed by jealousy, fear and self destruction. Kraven is our dark boy who thrives on anger and chaos and rebellion but Isla brings out his softer underbelly. The brothers are connected in a deeper level and Isla is another layer. But they both love the same girl and will it be the breaking point? Isla is fighting her past and she found a true home with them but her heart is torn between two boys who love them in their own way. I dont know where this story will take me but I am not sure I will survive.

Isla is on the run from an abusive foster home when she runs into Julius and Kraven playing the piano and violin in a subway. Isla is covered in blood, but has passed out. The brothers, Julius and Kraven aren't sure what to do with her, but, they take her home and let her rest. The first 6 months with the brother's Isla doesn't talk. She just nods and communicates via text messages. But, finally Kraven breaks her and she starts to talk. Julius thought she would talk with him first as they seem to be friends. But maybe that's Julius's problem, she sees him more as a friend.

Julius is the older brother. He dropped out of school so he could work full time and support his brother Kraven. The brother's parents have been missing for a few years. The mom and dad brother went away stating they would be back, but have never come back into their lives. They keep going along day by day doing what they know how to do. Their parents were both addicts and alcholoics.

Kraven and Isla are the same age. They start going to school together. Isla tutors Kraven even though he knows what the answer is before she does. Kraven has more of a bad boy / dangerous vibe to him. He's always getting into fights and trouble.

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving a honest book review.

Looking for an angsty, love triangle? Well, my reading friends look no further. Author M. Robinson delivers just that with the raw and emotional We Are Yours.

I’m gonna try to do this without giving away any of the story, considering this is the first book of a duet. I know that sometimes it is easier said than done, but I’m gonna try and focus on my feelings towards the book as opposed to what’s happening in the book.

First of all, we definitely get all the fields. If you do not like angst in your romances, this one might not be for you. However, if you do, grab your box of tissues, get a drink and settle in. This is a story of three people who have already been dealt a pretty bad hand. Each carrying emotional baggage that affects them. A story of when no one else was there for them. They had music. Music as an escape. There is a fine line between love and hate, and the Author very much puts us right in the center of it.

I felt, I cried. The betrayal and the passion bleed through the pages that you can’t help but feeling everything the story has to offer. I have to say this is a very intense story and we do have debt cliffhanger at the end, but it is well worth it. And I can’t wait to see what happens next.

𝘞𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴 is a emotionally-charged contemporary romance by M. Robinson, known for her signature blend of angst, heartbreak, and complicated love. This one focuses sharply on the tangled love triangle between two brothers and the woman who becomes the center of their world — and their unraveling.

From the moment I started reading, I knew this story would pull at all the messy, human parts of love. 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙪𝙨 and 𝙆𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙣 are complete opposites, yet both broken in ways only love can push to the surface. Their dynamic is magnetic, sharp, and painfully real at times. And 𝙄𝙨𝙡𝙖… well, she’s a beautifully written character — layered, emotional, and torn.

But if I’m being honest in the softest, most respectful way: I truly felt Isla played a big part in creating the tension between the brothers. Not maliciously — she’s simply a young woman trying to navigate impossible feelings — but her indecision and emotional conflict do add fuel to the fire. In a story like this, that complexity is exactly what makes it so gripping… and so frustrating in the best way.

The angst is top-tier. The pining? Delicious. The emotional turmoil? Heavy, but satisfying. Robinson didn't writes perfect characters; she writes real ones, and that shows on every page.

"Right in front of me, two brothers raged war with demons I couldn't see, but feel"

This is book 1 in this duet and this book ends on a massive cliffhanger that will leave you desperate for more.

What to expect

💜Love Triangle
💜Angsty
💜Hate to live
💜Two brothers
💜Roommates

Isla is a woman who is on the run trying to escape what has happened. When she unexpectedly runs into the brothers.
The brothers Julius and Kraven have been there for each all there lives and always protected each other. They have always connected through there music and when Isla comes bounding into their lives they know nothing will be the same again.

This storyline was gripping, raw, emotionally heartbreaking and totally full of suspense. The way this author has written this book, this love story you will absolutely feel it all. This book will have you on the edge of your seat with all the love, loss, heartbreak, secrets and lies you will not see what is coming next. O.M.G. The angst queen has returned! My heart was literally in my throat for most of this book.

Julius, Kraven and Isla. 3 hearts, 3 souls, 2 brothers, but can there only be one love. Tell me nooooo!
I don't even know what to think. This book was filled with heartbreak, jealousy, hope, healing.. so so good!

These brothers are as different as two people could be. One is reckless and the other is cautious. One thrives on adrenaline and the other lives for calm. The only thing they agree about is one woman. A woman who just happened to enter their lives when they didn't need someone else to worry about, but she them. Saw through their walls and to their guarded hearts - all the hurt they've endured, all the pain, the need and want. She saw her own reflected in both of theirs. She found wants she's longed for.

I can not wait to see how this duet ends. This book does end on a doozy of a cliffy so keep that in mind!!

Please go into this story blind (check tw if needed, but please don't read reviews). You'll be glad you did.

Wow. I wasn’t expecting this story to hit as hard as it did. From the first chapter, I was completely hooked. M. Robinson has a gift for writing angst that digs deep, and We Are Yours is another perfect example of her emotional, gut-wrenching storytelling.
The book follows Julius and Kraven Knightly—two brothers abandoned by their drug-addicted, alcoholic parents—and Isla Fox, a foster kid who’s spent her entire life being shuffled from one unstable home to another. Their paths collide in a subway station on a night Isla is escaping something traumatic, and from that moment on, their bond slowly turns into trust, reliance, and something far more complicated.
This love triangle is intense, heartbreaking, passionate, and brutal in the best way. The story deals with abuse, addiction, abandonment, and survival—and it all builds to a cliffhanger that had my jaw on the floor.
If you love dark, emotional, suspense-filled romance that lingers long after you finish, this is one you shouldn’t miss.

Isla Fox was running away from a nightmare of a foster home when she met Julius and Kraven Knightly. Julius was the one who decided to help her that night, much to the dismay of his brother Kraven. Isla manages to stay under the radar; all she needs to do is make it to her eighteenth birthday. When Julius leaves one weekend, Isla and Kraven develop a unique friendship all their own. The three of them manage to keep the peace, create a home, and keep the roof over their heads. Until Kraven gets into trouble and their mother comes back to town. Isla learns the hard way why she shouldn't trust their mother and what it means to be part of Julius's and Kraven's worlds. She loves them both equally and they each love her as well. Until she makes a startling discovery... and cliffhanger. The author put her trademark angst into this story, which made the plot all the more interesting. I really can't wait to see what happens next!

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

Get ready for some serious angst. I will go ahead and warn you that once you have this book in your hands you will not be laying it down. This is the story of Isla, Julius, and Kraven. Isla has loved these two boys for as long as she can remember. One though love and one with a fiery passion of hate. I don't know that I can say a whole lot and not giving something away. I can tell you that you will want to hit Julius up the side of his head a time or twenty while reading this book. I loved that Isla could read Kraven like a book and understood him better than any person on earth. This book is a forced proximity, opposites attract, roommates, fate, love triangle that you are never going to want to end. And I can promise you since this is duet you will want the second book immediately. Now go get this book and enjoy the ride.

Isla. Julius. Kraven.
Three hearts. Two brothers. One massive emotional disaster waiting to happen… and I loved every second of it.

This book is pure angst, the kind that gets under your skin and sits in your chest long after you close the Kindle. Isla’s connections with Julius and Kraven couldn’t be more opposite—sweet, steady history with one, and sharp, electric enemies-to-lovers tension with the other. And somehow M. Robinson makes you fall for both right along with her.

The push and pull, the secrets, the way music threads them together and tears them apart… it’s messy in the best, can’t-look-away way. And when those brothers both said “We are yours” and begged her to choose? I had to take a moment. A long moment.

And then that cliffhanger hit.
I audibly gasped.
I need the next book immediately — like yesterday.

If you love tortured brothers, impossible choices, and the kind of emotional chaos that keeps you up late flipping pages, We Are Yours delivers. Hard.

Tension, Turmoil, and Two Brothers I Can’t Choose Between!

⭐⭐ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Review:

We Are Yours pulled me in from the very first chapter and never let go. This story is pure, addictive angst — the kind that twists your stomach, speeds up your heart, and leaves you completely torn in all the best ways. I genuinely don’t know who I want her to end up with because both Julius and Kraven bring something intense, compelling, and impossible to ignore.

The chemistry is electric, the emotions run high, and the push-and-pull dynamics had me devouring chapters like my life depended on it. I loved every minute and I’m already counting down to book two. M. Robinson builds the tension beautifully, and the stakes — both emotional and romantic — just keep rising.

If you love angsty, character-driven romance with an impossible love triangle that makes you feel every decision, this is the perfect read. I can’t wait to see where this story goes next!

Well done!

Part 1 out of a 2 part story.

It's everything and more.
I felt like tearing up more than once through reading this.
Also… I can not choose….. All these 3 have so much going for them and they are also so human with faults and growth and mistakes and wins.

It's a come together and save each other kinda book but  you get teared apart so viciously as well….
M. Robinson knows how.. I mean I will most probably have this story in the back of my mind until book 2 comes out.. It's a cliffy yea but a do-able one.
Gut wrenching and Real. This is what I'd say if I had a one liner for the book.
But it needs more said… So  Gut wrenching and real and you will be losing out if you do not read it! ;)

“Julius’s presence. His voice. His love? That felt like home to me. He felt like home to me. While Kraven felt like a storm, I couldn’t outrun it.”

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)...

I don’t even know where to begin, this book took me on an emotional roller coaster. Isla, Kraven and Julius have such a deep connection right from the start it’s hard to even explain. Isla is running from an abusive past and both brothers help heal her in different aspects and in return she helps them in a way only she can. While this is both beautiful and deep this also creates the most fierce love triangle I have encountered.

I don’t want to reveal too much as this journey is exceptional, however, towards the end there is some big decision making and a major revelation. Which unfortunately leaves us with a major cliffhanger wondering what is next for our trio.

I cannot wait to see what happens between Isla, Julius and Kraven.

More review to come.

I was hooked on this one from the first chapter.

Isla, Julius, and Kraven’s story is a journey that is full of love, angst, and so many emotions. Isla runs into the brothers escaping another horrible foster family and they rescue her when she had no one else. The three of them form a bond that none of them expected that moment.

Julius and Kraven are different from each other. Isla has a different connection with each other them and and each of those connections is special and unique. You can feel her struggle at times when it comes to them. This love triangle is one where you can’t choose yourself of who to root for and go back and forth between each of the brothers.

I need the next book ASAP, because that cliffhanger is killing me.

If you’re looking for a love triangle, angsty, forced proximity check this one out.

What a crazy intense read this was. The night Isla was fighting for her life would be the night everything changed for her. Foster homes, after foster homes none of them better than the last. Her life was terrible but that night changed it all, she met two brothers by chance both completely opposite, one was sweet and caring and the other the bad boy that made her forget her troubles. Each had something different to offer her, and each had this hold on her she couldn't explain. Kraven and Julius also didn't have the best childhood or teen years, it's crazy to think these boys are still so young with everything they have been through. Once you pick up this read you won't want to put it down, Im dying for part 2!
