This is a great novella about the miracles that are possible through faith and devotion.
The plot is centered around a real-life miracle that was once featured on Unsolved Mysteries: The miraculous stairway at Loretto, a chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
There’s also two timelines present, one in the late 1800s and another in the early 1990s. Each timeline focuses on a character who’s made mistakes in the past, but has a chance to change and choose a straight and narrow path.
The staircase is a macrocosm for the dual protagonists; a miracle that proves that by using what you have, with both devotion and faith, anything is possible.
