Saints

Rate this book
This Gem provides a guide to the lives of the most popular saints – who they were, how they became saints and for whom they have a particular importance. This guide to saints contains brief biographies, saint’s days and lists of patron saints as well as a general introduction to how someone becomes a saint and who were the first saints. This interesting guide shows how saints still play a part in modern life – whether it’s having that St Christopher magnet stuck on the dashboard, or praying to St Anthony if you cannot find your car keys.

Wished it was longer! Has made me want to find a more detailed book with more saints as I became interested in the history of it all.
