omg this book i started it this morning and finished it tonight so desperate to find out what happens next its so spicy and well written and the characters are just brilliant sexy and kind and hateful and nasty the feelings you can't help but feel as you read are immense highly reccomend x

Mel Rose’s debut novel is a must read! This is book one of a series and ends with a cliffhanger. Book 2 is currently scheduled to be released in December 2026.
Alix (FMC) has been dating and trying to find her fairytale romance with no luck. She is ready to give up when a text meant for someone else brings Anthony into her life. Unfortunately Anthony lives across the country. After months of texts and video calls they finally get to meet in person and the chemistry is off the charts. In the middle of the visit Anthony gets pulled away for work and disappears with no texts or phone calls for months. Feeling abandoned Alix decides to start dating again and allows Josh into her life. This book really takes off once Anthony returns.
I would class this book as a romantic suspense/thriller and it had me feeling all the feels. The first few pages had me laughing out loud at Alix because everything that happened to her was so relatable! The suspense throughout the book keeps you invested and wanting to know what is going to happen next.

Dark Romance
Oh wow. What did I just read. I couldn’t put the book down. And now a cliffhanger?
The banter with FMC Alix’s family is so relatable and hilarious. I love her relationship with her sister and Mom.
Alix explores dating and nothing goes right and she believes she’s destined to be by herself until she meets him. Everything feels so right until it isn’t. There are red flags and when she rejects a man for another, the story takes a dangerous twist that Alix may never escape from.
Can’t wait to find out what happens in book 2!

A decent read
Overall the story is great. Could use a light edit and some formatting, but the writing is good. The characters are strong and well written. The ending though! I need another book!

This book had me questioning everyone! Alix is looking for love after a string of failed dates when an accidental meeting changes everything. The connection is there immediately, but living on opposite sides of the country makes things complicated. Just when it seems like they might have a chance, circumstances pull them apart and Alix tries to move on.
Then he comes back.
From there, the story turns into a messy, intense battle between love and obsession, and I genuinely didn’t know who I trusted. Both relationships had me raising my eyebrows for completely different reasons, and I kept changing my mind about what I wanted Alix to do.
There’s plenty of chemistry, spice, drama, and suspense to keep the pages turning. And that ending?! I was NOT prepared. Thank goodness the next book is coming because I definitely need answers!
4.5/5 stars — absolutely recommend for dark romance readers who enjoy complicated relationships, morally questionable behavior, and plenty of twists.

Who would have thought a wrong number text would end up in an all consuming love story with many twists and turns? Anthony and Alix are chef kiss!! Now hanging on by a thread with the cliff hanger of all cliff hangers!! Need the next book NOW!!

Insatiably Yours is a journey! While it took a little while to find its footing and had a few repetitive moments early on, once the momentum picked up, I couldn't put it down.
The standout for me was definitely Anthony—the way he loves Alix is everything you want in a romance hero. On the flip side, Josh is absolute trash, but honestly? He’s the antagonist the story needed to keep the stakes high. That cliffhanger has me reeling, and I’m already counting down the days until the next installment to see how this all unfolds!

A dark romance where he falls first with a bit of Insta-love. A touch of a love triangle that leads to obsession, danger, and intense passion. I also loved the “touch her and die” theme. One of my favs in dark romance. The ending!?!? Ugh it has me thinking but also wishing for Winter (only because that is when book 2 releases!!).

A moving, shifting, fast-paced dark romance. Part thriller, part horror, part steamy love story. Told from the first person perspectives of two protagonists, the back and forth gives the book the feel of hearing the thoughts of two lovers in a movie or television series. And entertaining read, with enough twisting to keep you guessing, and enough romance to warm your heart

This book is amazing and beautifully written it has everything you need from a book, it had me laughing, kicking my feet, so suspenseful and dark and the spice was spicing, it all starts with a wrong number leading up to something more, the MMC Anthony’s love for Alix was everything! He would literally burn the world for her 😭 it does end in a cliffhanger that had my jaw dropped! I need book 2 🫣

A quick dark romance that leaves you on a cliffy! I love Anthony. The narrator makes him easy to visualize & I found myself hoping things worked out for them pretty quickly. This read more like a thriller than a dark romance to me but it was like 4am so I could have been fuzzy. I do love a humid greenhouse type scene & this book delivers on that as well. Looking forward to book 2. I needed a quick read and this cover easily pulled me in. Its stunning. I enjoyed this one.

This was my first book by Mel Rose and I throughly enjoyed it!
This book was a quick and easy read with the elements of dark romance but also comedic banter! I enjoyed the family banter between Alix and her family!
The spice between Alix and Anthony 🌶️😈 I love how their relationship started with the wrong number and how they never really lost hope for each other throughout their journey.
The ending !! I am shook and ready for book 2 🥰

A riveting ending to a memorable book
Insatiably yours had me begging for more! I loved the spice and the plot was page-turning… my favorite line was “He exhaled like I’d just given him air.” The FMC had me laughing thoroughly and I loved the banter. I can’t wait for the next one!!!

Loved Alix and Anthony story. first time reading this author and enjoyed getting to see what was going to happen.

I got this book from the author to review. I have to say this has been a great book. Just enough spice and suspense. Speaking about suspense, the ending of this book got me in a chokehold! I will have to see what the characters do next!

I enjoyed this! The formatting is a little interesting and it could use some editing, but this is a solid story. I forced myself to put it down and go to bed, but I would’ve easily read it in one sitting! This is a dark romance, please check your triggers! The relationships were believable and I ate it up. The plot was good, it built up to it really well. The ending though? RUDE.

Wow, just wow! This story picked me up and twisted my heart all to pieces, then put it back together again! Amazing writing that will keep you on the edge of your seat and won't let go until the end! I really enjoyed this so much and will definitely recommend it to my friends!

This was a solid three-star read for me 📚✨ The story had strong emotional moments and clear chemistry between the characters, and I could really feel the intensity of their connection. And the book left off on a cliff hanger!!!
That said, I found myself wishing there had been a bit more background and character development. I wanted to spend more time getting to know who they were individually and what shaped them, which would have helped me feel even more invested in their journey 💭🤍
