This was absolute Christmas Delight!! Witchy. Dark & Demonish! Sprinkled with Spice & just right for Christmas Eve night!

Our FMC is 100% sass, class & STRONG on the smart ass & I ate up every single word!
The banter was giggle out loud funny!

You WILL fall deeply in love with Piper AND Rhea!

Our Demon Lord Slade is dark, deliciously broody & has a come back every single time!

Fast paced. Easy read. Christmas cozy!

Last but MOST DEFINITELY not least, there's Newt. In the world of Familials He's perfection! He also has the right amount of sass and does not hold back on he feel about what's happening around him! He's fluffy, cuddly & knows exactly what he wants!

I love it! The characters were so well written, I LOVE Rhea, and Newt is such a character. If you ask Newt, he was the main character 😂; everyone else was simply existing in his world. I would love an extra epilogue chapter from Newt's POV; that would be hilarious (yes, I know he's a cat, lol). The slow burn to epic finale had me giggling and squealing every 30 seconds. The tension and chemistry between Piper and Slade was so 🥵🥵🥵 it was making me sweat throughout the whole book. I hope the author gives us spin-off books of the other characters in the near future because I NEED MOREEEE! With Rhea and Draven, and Ella too. I hope Newt gets himself a beau as well! I have gotten myself so hooked on this book and this world that I know I will re-read it again soon.

I absolutely loved every part of this book! Piper is hilarious a d definitely reminds me of myself. "Decidedly stabby before caffeine." Same girl same. Caffeine is life. She is a hot mess and I love her for that. The magic is completely out of control and her panicking is the icing on the cake. I probably would have reacted the same if I had accidentally summoned a demon, especially a hot one like Slade 🥵 While the funny moments are amazing, I love the seriousness and plotline of the story too. The little lessons taught throughout as well as how grief can twist a person into something they dont recognize. Slade and Piper are a great match. He is so good for her. He gives her space to discover the truth of the past but also helps her when needed. He doesnt push her to love him. Hes just there. I love that so much. I definitely want another book set in this world because the tension between Derevan and Rhea is off the charts

I have never laughed out loud so much reading a book. The pure magic in this story is perfection. The tension, banter, he falls hard first ugh loved it. You get witches, and Demons and where there are demons Lucifer is sure to be around lurking. O and throw in a sassy familiar cat you know your in for a good time.

TLDR: A curvy witch, a family curse, a 6’ something hot walking problem, banter, tension, spicy and a sassy cat what could go wrong or right this holiday season?

Piper Bellamy has to be careful with her magic especially in December it is always sporadic and she knows better than to do something like a ward or small spell this time of year but it’s only the beginning of Dec and her magic is causing problems so she decides to try a warding spell what could go wrong?

Slade a 6’ something hot problem is the demon that Piper most definitely did not summon with a sassy attitude, a wicked smile and banter for days. Slade is not summoned he does not come when called so why did he show up at Pipers store if she didn’t summon him?

Slade likes to tease and rile Piper up with lots of flirting and banter so I spent most of this book giggling and kicking my feet at how these two interacted with each other! Read this book to find out why Slade showed up and how these two interact and handle her unhinged magic during the holiday season!

I gave this a five-star review because it was an easy and fun read with some spice thrown into the mix. The story setting was written around Christmas and that made it extra festive with Christmas only being a few weeks away. For starters, my definition of "cute" is a LOT different than most people's. But I thought this dark rom-com was cute as all get out. Even the dark parts. The irksome, sentient magic, and witty banter had me kicking my feet, giggling like a school girl the first half of the book. Honestly, the only thing I didnt like about it was the sllooowwww, inevitable burn between Piper and Slade. What do you expect when you summon a demon with quirky magic?

The world building was out of this world. Literally. We're in Hell for half of this 🤣 And this is one of those rare books that makes you fall in love with 9.5/10 characters. ESPECIALLY NEWT. Think Fred from Lights Out mixed with Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and that's Newt. He is perfection. If he doesnt get AT LEAST his own short novella, I will find B. Wills local grocery store, make sure they're there, and throw a very large toddler tantrum 💁🏻‍♀️

Add this to your TBR, and read this if you, too, want to join me to throw a tantrum. Enough tantrum throwers and we might just get what we want. Plus another book. Don't be scared by the word count. You wont regret it!

So much fun! I caught myself laughing out loud so many times!

All cat lovers, who like dark rom-coms, should read this book! I absolutely love Newt. He IS the prince, literally. Love how Slade treats him as such-as he should. 😉

Loved Pipers relationship with her best friend Rhea. The way Rhea could call Piper out and have such fun banter between themselves (and Slade) was such a cool thing to read.

I am totally foreshadowing that Rhea and Draven will have their own book! (Please say yes)

Slade and Pipers intense, electric bond is titilating and HOT. But... the way he cares for her, how he treats her-a curvy girl mind you (love that)-like a QUEEN, swoon 😍

The way he is there for her without smothering her... every woman's dream.

When Piper finds out about her past! My heart felt all the feels.

What a great story that had me smiling, saying 'awww', gasping with WTH, and swooning from beginning to end... LOVED it. 🙌

And yes, there was spice but there was also plot, friendship, laughter, teasing, and mystery as well.

The descriptive context make you feel like you are there with them, experiencing all the holiday vibes/feels. Truly and enjoyable read!

Hex the Halls was such a fun, cozy-meets-spicy holiday read! This was a super easy book to fly through, perfect for when you want festive vibes with a magical twist.

I loved the paranormal pairing—our FMC is a witch, our MMC is a demon—giving us that perfect mix of light magic and a sprinkle of darkness. Their banter was hilarious, their chemistry was electric, and the spice level was definitely bringing the heat 🔥.

The curse that ties them together added just the right amount of mystery to keep the story moving, while still keeping things festive and fun. While the plot stayed on the lighter, quicker side, it was still a solid and enjoyable holiday romance with paranormal flair.

If you’re looking for a cute, spicy, witchy holiday read with a demon hero and plenty of chemistry, Hex the Halls is a great one to add to your seasonal TBR! ❄️✨📖

I was lucky to be on the arc team for this book. This book was my introduction to the world of B. Wills and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment I first picked this up, I was hooked.

Follow along as we meet Piper Bellamy and Slade Athalar. From the very beginning, you will be rooting for Slade (even if he seems a bit pushy at first). The pure chemistry between Slade and Piper is clear from the very first interaction between these two. And let’s not forget about our furry little feline friend, Newt. Everyone needs a Newt of their own! He is so absolutely adorably written. You can just picture all his little spunky moods, as if you were right there within the story. And let’s not forget about the slow burn! You may have to wait for the spice, but is it ever worth the wait! That first spicy scene will leave you craving more and B. Wills does not disappoint! Every single part of this story was amazing! And the ending?! OMG I cried, I laughed, I nearly threw my tablet across the room! The way this story shows you just what we have to look forward to with even more Bellamy magic ahead, it will leave you shouting “give me more!”. B. Wills has definitely hit it out of the park with this first installment in the Hex series. I cannot wait to read more!

A cursed witch, a sexy possessive demon, and a cute cat. What more can you ask for in a book?

Piper is a cursed witch whose powers react to her emotions. Slade is a hot, flirty demon that she accidentally summons. Newt is the cutest and sassiest cat that brings out my cuteness aggression. I adore all the characters in this book, the author’s writing flowed well, the story was very easy to follow, the plot was intriguing, and there's a very generous amount of spice. It was a quick and easy holiday read with plenty of spice. I did not rate it higher because the ending felt dragged on for me and some of the spice felt a little redundant.

This is my first book by this author and I am HOOKED! The world building, the little details, the plot, THE SPICE. This book had it all. The way the world was described down to the outfits the characters were wearing, the details described were so vivid that I had no issues seeing exactly what the author wanted me to see. This book is great for someone wanting a magical fantasy holiday read with a mix of an ancient curse. I can't wait for book 2 in this series!!

I could not put this book down!

From the very first sentence the story pulls you in, it’s full of Christmas warmth, magic and excitement!

The world building is so detailed you can picture it as you’re reading it, making it feel like you are there as part of the story.

This book is full of love, laughter, and warm cozy feels! Not to mention some very detailed smutty chapters!

With witches, demons, hell and a cat it’s got everything you could want for a Christmas romance.

I can’t wait to see what happens next for piper and slade!

B has done it again!! This is the fourth book I’ve read by this author, and she has never failed to amaze me.

Hex the Halls was such a light-hearted, emotion-driven story about a witch and demon lord fated to save their worlds with the power of their love. With a sassy cat companion and found family to go along with it, this book will have you swooning over and over again.

AND SLADE?!?! New fave book boyfriend, he may be in the top 10 for me…maybe even top 5 👀👀

This is a must read if you’re looking for a Christmas book that’s got supernatural vibes to it! Slade is everything you could want in a MMC! Don’t even get me started on Newt! Who most definitely has MAIN CHARACTER, iykyk!! I can’t forget my girl Piper either. She’s a hot mess, but in the best way possible! There’s so many times that she had me literally CACKLING! But don’t worry, the side characters are just as great as the main characters! I can’t wait to see what else happens with all of them! Oh and if you’ve made this far, ladies and gents be prepared because this one is SPICYYYY 🥵😏

I had the opportunity to read an advanced copy of Hex The Halls by B. Wills. I loved this book and gave it 4 stars. The banter is incredible, and the found family trope is well done in this book. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I felt there could have been more turmoil in the book. The main issue resolves itself earlier than I anticipated but that also made for a unique progression in the book. The spice is spicy and the banter is witty. If you are looking for a cute holiday story with spicy spice and amazing banter, I highly recommend giving this book a read.

I have never loved a book idea more than I did the premise of this book. A witch with a christmas curse that accidentally summons a hot demon and also has a sassy cat? Count me in!! I never knew being called “witch” could be such an amazing pet name but this book has definitely changed my perspective on it. And one can never go wrong with a brooding man that wins over a grumpy cat. Highly recommend if you need a little Christmas pick me up that will definitely make you laugh!

So this book is very funny. The banter between the characters is literally next level. I really liked the first half of the book but it kind of fell off in the second half for me. There was a lot of buildup around the curse along with a will they won’t they kind of vibe then pretty suddenly it’s easy to break the curse and they spend the rest of the book having spicy time on every surface of their house. Ultimately, I do think it’s a fun read, especially for the holidays just go in for the banter and stay for the spice.

I absolutely love a b wills story!! I knew I would just devour this with Christmas being my favorite holiday! Between the banter and the spice I was absolutely hooked! I absolutely loved piper and her sass and slade and all his grumpiness! It was the perfect gothic christmasy romance! The spice was soo soo good! The build up leading toward it was so so worth the wait!! And I absolutely loved piper newt, such a sassy black cat that cracked me up! I cannot wait to see what b wills writes next!!

Hex the Halls was a cute and cozy Christmas romance.

I really enjoyed the first half with all the mystery around the curse. I wish we could have had more of that. The second half was still good, just personally a let down for me.

The spice was good, but not overly descriptive. Except for 1 or 2 scenes near the end and they were very spicy.

I think anyone interested in a cozy romance without a lot of conflict would really enjoy this book.

I loved the first half of this book and the second half fell short I thought the premise of finding out about the 400 year old curse was Great and really interesting
but the second half all the Interest fell short once the curse is broken the amount of smut in the second half of the book felt like it was every second page
