To save the world, she must claim her power, claim her mates, and face the god who wants her broken. When the shadows of the Underworld creep into the waking world, Nova discovers she’s the last heir of a forgotten divine bloodline—one powerful enough to challenge Hades himself. Her shifting abilities are only the beginning. Her destiny? Much bigger than she ever imagined.
But destiny rarely comes alone.
Lovett and Lee—each dangerous, each magnetic—are drawn to Nova in ways even the gods can’t explain. Together, the three form a bond that burns hotter than celestial fire… and could just as easily destroy them all.
As demons gather, witches whisper, and ancient creatures step from myth into reality, Nova must navigate a world where passion is a weapon and trust is a gamble.
Mother to two teenage boys, 2 four legged babies, and wife to a loving army veteran who doesn't mind the extra voices in her head. Though her true passion is in creating her own worlds, characters, and stories for her readers.
I loved the concept of this book with the different species and the different gods but I was confused multiple times throughout. There were many characters introduced at once and a lot of different plots that were hard to keep up with. I loved Lee and when Nova stood up for herself. It was very action packed that kept my attention. I would recommend to someone who wanted a quick paced, fast read involving the paranormal.
3.5 stars for me. Right from the start, I was drawn into Nova’s story. I felt her frustration and her longing for more than being seen as a breeder. The first portion of the book was my favourite—the mystery and meeting her first mate really hooked me.
After that, things got a little wild. At one point, so many characters were introduced that I started losing track of who was who and where everyone was. This could just be on me (maybe I needed another coffee), but the middle felt a bit muddied.
Even so, if you’re after a shifter romance with ties to Greek or goddess mythology, this might be for you. There were some truly sweet moments, the action stayed consistent, and overall, I enjoyed the read.
Really wanted to love this book. I was super excited regarding the concept however it was struggle to finish the book. Characters were introduced very briefly without much detail and it was hard to keep track of who was who. Or some characters where there would seem to be a potential for a developing storyline then no other mention of them ever again. I feel like a lot of scenes were rushed and the ones that couldve been rushed were dragged out.
Nova aka Little Star got lucky or did she? Love the Gods and Goddess mythology aspect and how all different supernatural creatures came together for one cause. The triad that ends up forming with Lovett, Lee and Nova and the difficulties they go through as a newly mated is heart wrenching but knowing love perseveres in the end. Can’t wait for more hopefully with these characters.
I loved how this book has different magical worlds in one. All the different characters from vampires, greek gods, shifters and more. The story line was very emotional, intense, and kept me interested from start to finish. I’ve never read a books that has all my favorite types of characters in one book.
A unique storyline blending multiple magical worlds into one adventure-. Shifters, vampires, demons, Greek gods and more! There was a lot happening, and multiple characters/names at play. This did confuse me at times, but ultimately was a fun read.
