⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From #1 bestseller and USA Today bestseller Morgan Rice, whose books have over 10,000 five-star ratings, comes the sixth book in an astounding new fantasy series, VOWSWORN, ideal for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Callie Hart, and Holly Black.
In the Five Kingdoms of Valterra, magic comes with a price—sacred oaths that grant incredible power but must never be broken.
Queen Maren's paranoia grows as her kingdom crumbles around her, while Lord Damien uncovers ancient texts hinting at magic far darker than anyone imagined.
Aboard a foreign vessel, Briar and Kieran glimpse a different form of magic entirely—one based on harmony rather than obligation—but bringing such knowledge home could trigger catastrophe.
As Lysandra undergoes a transformation that will forever mark her as neither fully human nor beast, the boundaries between hunter and protector, friend and foe, begin to blur.
When ancient systems of magic collide, can anyone survive the impact?
And in a world where oaths define reality itself, what power might be found in the freedom to choose?
A breathtaking world where magic and passion collide, VOWSWORN offers immersive worldbuilding and characters caught between heart-wrenching choices. Once you enter the world of the Vowsworn, breaking free may be impossible.
Future books in the series are available!
“Loved it. Kept me on my toes like the whole time. It made me want to keep reading even when I was supposed to be sleeping.”

I was given an ARC of this book and I enjoyed it.
The race for power is ongoing but it seems the worst of them are winning as Queen Maren's thirst grows along with her obsessions and hate. Briar is determined to save the realm and hopes her new powers will be enough. It was Lysandra's tale that intrigued me most due to her transformation that gives her choice.
There was plenty of action and a great sense of place. Good against evil is always good for a satisfying fantasy.
Well-written and engaging.
