Meh

This was okay. I loved the idea and the characters. But their spice scene together...I just didn't like it. I dont even know why either. It was well written, it was detailed and spicy. But it just rubbed me the wrong way 🫠

Look, I love a freebie from "Stuff Your Kindle" day as much as the next person, but this novella was the definition of "blink and you'll miss it." It peaked faster than a high schooler on prom night. We got exactly one full spicy scene, and while it was definitely hot, it felt like the book ended just as I was finally learning everyone's names. It’s hard to get emotionally invested when the "happily ever after" arrives ten minutes after the "hello." but I guess that's the vibe from novellas.

If you want a 30-minute distraction that gets straight to the point, this is it. But if you’re looking for a meal...This was just the appetizer.

This tale was so much fun to read. Short but filled with a variety of erotic sexual activity. Their Christmas actually turned into a family event continuing the following year and probably many more after 😂
