He was sent to destroy me. Instead, he became my salvation.

Ava
I’ve spent my life running from monsters. My father sold secrets to the Bratva, then disappeared, leaving me to pay the price. Now the most feared man in Las Vegas is standing in my apartment, quiet, watchful, and merciless.

Renat Korolyov. They call him the Devil. The brother who never smiles. The one who cleans up the family’s darkest messes and leaves no souls behind. He tells me I’m his leverage. That he’ll use me to lure my father out of hiding.

But every night I spend in his presence, I see the cracks in his armor. The loneliness. The hunger. And when he touches me, the Devil doesn’t look like damnation.

He looks like deliverance.

He says I was born to be his redemption. But men like him don’t get saved. They take, they claim, they breed their mark into the world and pray the angels never find them.

He promised to keep her safe, but first, he had to claim her.

Ava’s life shattered when her father betrayed the Bratva, leaving her to face deadly consequences. For weeks, she waits in fear, but nothing prepares her for Renat. Cold, calculating, he claims her as leverage to draw out the man who ruined them both. When she’s forced to choose between survival and submission, Ava realizes she’s more than just a pawn.

Renat never intended to attach. He needed Ava as a tool, but her strength, defiance, and undeniable pull make her impossible to ignore. What started as an arrangement driven by obsession becomes darker and more dangerous. Ava’s in Renat’s world, but carving a place in his heart.

Their love is built on power, possession, and protection only dangerous men offer. In a world where loyalty is tested, they must navigate a bond that could destroy them or make them stronger. Neither will ever be the same again.

When survival and love blur, Ava and Renat change in ways they never expected. Their world is dark, their love fierce, and together, they’ll either destroy each other or build something worth living for.

Ava starts vulnerable, trapped by her father’s betrayal, but grows into someone who makes bold choices, especially with Renat. Renat, cold at first, becomes possessive, protective, and emotionally invested as their bond deepens. Their relationship starts as a power struggle but evolves into something more complex, built on desire and tenderness. They find belonging in each other, even as they struggle with the shadows of their pasts.

A dark, high-heat Bratva romance exploring obsession, power, and control. Ava’s survival depends on loyalty in a world where betrayal runs deep, and Renat’s need to protect her burns with intensity. It’s about survival, redemption, and surrendering to a love that tests every boundary.

The Elevator Pitch: In a dangerous world ruled by power and betrayal, a woman is forced to choose between survival and submission when she becomes the pawn in a deadly Bratva game. The cold and calculating man who claims her as leverage finds himself unexpectedly drawn to the very thing he sought to control. Together, they must navigate a bond built on obsession, loyalty, and a fierce love that could either destroy them or bind them forever.

Some love stories are sweet.
Some are slow.
And then there are the ones where danger walks through the front door… sits down… and claims you.

Bred by the Bratva Devil is dark, intense, and completely addictive from the first page. Ava has spent weeks living in fear after her father betrays the Bratva and disappears, leaving her behind to face the consequences. She’s been waiting for someone to come for her.

She just didn’t expect him.

Renat Korolyov doesn’t shout or threaten. He doesn’t need to. He enters her apartment like he already owns it and calmly informs her she’s coming with him. She’s leverage. Bait. A tool to flush her father out of hiding.

At least, that’s the plan.

What makes this story impossible to put down is how quickly the dynamic shifts. Renat may be known as the Devil, but his control begins to crack the moment Ava affects him in ways he didn’t anticipate. His decision stops being about the mission — and starts being about keeping her.

The possessiveness is intense, but it’s paired with protection. Renat doesn’t just claim her; he shields her — even from his own world when necessary. Watching a cold, calculating Bratva enforcer wrestle with new emotions is surprisingly compelling. He’s dangerous, ruthless, and absolutely certain once he decides she belongs with him.

And Ava? She isn’t naïve. She’s lived in fear long enough to understand exactly who he is. But instead of shrinking from it, she sees past the role — past the Bratva Devil — to the man underneath. That emotional surrender, that choice to trust him, is what makes their connection feel powerful instead of forced.

You’ll love this if you enjoy:

Dark, possessive antiheroes

Forced proximity tension

Instalove with obsession

Protective Bratva energy

High-heat, high-stakes romance

A guaranteed HEA

This is not a soft romance. It’s sharp, consuming, and unapologetically intense.

Renat came to use her.
Instead, he chose her.

And when the Devil himself decides you’re his… there’s no safer place to be.

There’s no such thing as outrunning the Bratva. So, when Ava’s father betrays them and vanishes into the shadows, abandoning his family to face the fallout, she knows the clock is ticking. It’s not a question of if someone will come knocking, but when. What she doesn’t expect is the Devil himself. And in a strange, twisted way? It’s almost a relief. Renat Korolyov is everything his reputation promises—cold, controlled, lethal. He tells Ava she’s nothing more than leverage, a pawn to force her father out of hiding. But almost as soon as he takes her, the rules start to shift. He doesn’t want to hand her over to his brother. He doesn’t want to use her and discard her. He wants to keep her. Watching this ruthless Bratva enforcer unravel under the weight of his growing obsession is completely magnetic. The possessiveness, the protectiveness, the quiet moments where the mask slips and something softer flickers beneath the surface… it’s addictive. Renat may wear the Devil’s crown, but Ava is the only one who sees the man underneath, the one capable of love as fiercely as he claims what’s his. And claim her he does. There’s never any doubt in anyone’s mind that Ava belongs to Renat, plus there’s that very Bratva-flavored breeding kink. What makes it work, though, is that he never forces her hand. He doesn’t coerce her into marriage. He doesn’t trap her with a child. For all his dominance, he gives her the space to choose. And in the end, that’s what makes their story so satisfying. Not the danger. Not the power plays. Not even the deliciously dark possessiveness. It’s that two people, who came together in fear and fire, ultimately choose each other.

This dark mafia romance has a somewhat unusual pacing. The relationship moves very quickly—almost insta-love—and before long the story jumps ahead to them already dealing with a baby and the consequences of their relationship. That rapid progression makes the romance feel a bit rushed at times.
The female main character also has a rather unusual view of family, especially considering some of her decisions and reactions throughout the story. While that could have been an interesting angle to explore, the book never fully explains certain elements that would have helped the plot make more sense. For example, it’s never really clarified why she is the one being targeted instead of someone else in her family, such as her sister. Moments like that create small plot holes that can make it harder to stay fully immersed in the story.
Despite these issues, the book is still an interesting read with some engaging moments. The overall premise has potential and the darker tone fits the mafia setting well.
If I could rate it more precisely, I’d probably give it around 3.5 stars, but since that’s not possible here, I’m rounding up to four. That said, I do feel that some other four-star reads are stronger in terms of pacing and plot consistency.

Mafia Romance.
Ava is a young woman who has been living in hiding since her father betrayed the Bratva. She never expected, however, that the Bratva would eventually find her and kidnap her right under the FBI's nose. But when she sees the Bratva's "devil" for the first time, she can't help but fall for him.
Renat is nicknamed the "devil of the Bratva," but when he's on a mission, he doesn't let emotions get in the way. Until she does: Ava's father is a traitor. She's supposed to be bait to lure him out before he gets rid of her, but after seeing her fight to survive while protecting her family, his plans change.
Will Ava and Renat have a beautiful love story, or will her father's mistakes destroy them…

I loved it! We're confronted with two different worlds: Ava, who fights to survive and help her family, while Renat is a high-ranking member of the Bratva and a cold, calculating man. We see them fighting for their feelings even though the cards are against them.

Book 5 of the Bred by the BRATVA Las Vegas series. Can be read as a standalone. Luv, luv, luv this series!

'Bred by the Bratva Devil is a dark, high-heat instalove romance featuring forced proximity, obsession, possessive protection, and breeding themes, with a guaranteed HEA.'

The characters drove the storyline and they were very compelling and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Renat has been tasked to take Ava and use her to find her father, but he never thought this woman would affect him the way she does. Instead he decides she is his. His to protect and his to love. Ava has been looking over her shoulder for the past 4 weeks since her father had screwed over the Bratva and now he has left his family to deal with the aftermath. She was not surprised when she finds the Devil as everyone called him in her apartment when she comes home after work. She never expected to be taken under Renat's protection, and to become his woman. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and the way this story is written its so good. I enjoyed it form start to finish.

MFC Ava has been looking over her shoulder a lot lately after her father sold out the Bratva and than ran leaving his family to suffer the consequences.
After making it home safely from work she finds a surprise unwelcome visitor!
MMC Renat Korolyov has come to take her with him to use as bait to draw her father out.
Ahh, but don’t I know how this will play out!
Good story with insta-love, drama, family dynamics, danger, and a hot spicy Bratva relationship. Entertaining writing, with perfectly crafted characters in a solidly enjoyable read.

Ella Thorne has been a favorite author of mine for some time, she knows how to grab onto her readers from the 1st page to the last. Her characters are so very delightfully flawed that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. The story of Renat and Ava is one of knowing that you will have to pay for your father's sins and are just waiting for the other shoe to drop. When it does you find yourself in a situation that you might just want to be in forever. This is the 5th book in the Bratva Las Vegas series and you really don't want to miss this one of any of the other is this series!.

A very enjoyable Bratva novella that moves quickly without feeling overly rushed. Despite leaning into captor/captive and insta love/lust tropes, the romance feels surprisingly emotionally grounded and well developed for the length.
Ava and Renat have a dynamic that’s both sweet and engaging, with her anxiety about losing him contrasted by his unwavering obsession and devotion. Their connection works well within the story, making it easy to stay invested despite the fast pace.
Overall, an enjoyable and satisfying read, with only minor editing errors taking away slightly from an otherwise strong novella.

I absolutely loved this story. Every short, steamy and sweet page of it. Renat and Ava were the best couple. Renat's instant need to protect her from the world (even his family at first) was so beautiful. Also, watching him learn to handle his new emotions was so endearing. Additionally, Ava's ability to see past his Bratva role to the man underneath and just let go was lovely. It's heartbreaking that this is the end of this series. Thank you Ella Thorne for this wonderful family.

The Korolyov’s don’t do stuff by halves.
Renat finds that he does have something inside, that isn’t just an empty place where his soul used to be, all because of Ava. Ava has nothing left to hope for because of decisions that were made by someone else. The two chose each other even though everything states it is madness, but hey the heart knows when it finds its reason to beat. This is the last Korolyov brother and his steamy story where he will defy all to have one and only. "This is my honest review of an advanced reader copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily."

Bred by the Bratva Devil is the fifth book in the Bread By the Bratva Las Vegas series by Ella Thorne. Renat is as cold as they come. His nickname is the Devil. When he is sent to collect Ava, everything changes. He starts to feel things he never felt before. His job is to use her for bait so he can kill her father. He is definitely going to kill her father, but he has decided to keep her. And nothing or no one will get in his way, including family.

Book five of the series. Ava knows she's living on borrowed time. Her father betrayed the Bratva and caused the deaths of innocents. It's only a matter of time until someone comes looking for revenge. Renat is an enforcer - a cold-hearted devil. He is sent to retrieve Ava and use her to get to her father. But Renat immediately senses that something is wrong, that he will never be able to do anything but protect her. They're both in trouble.

Had potential but..

It could have been a good book if the author had taken the time to make it a little more realistic. It was so ridiculous that an enforcer would shoot two FBI men in the knee and shoulder. They still had potential to shoot him. I know it's an insta love but seriously before they even blink their madly in love. Same old lines I think this book was AI I will not be reading anymore from this author.

These books are all starting to merge into each other, they are the same, woman is kidnapped and suddenly in love, and all the man cares about is breeding her.
even the sex scenes seem to be the same.
They are getting boring.
