The year is 1906. Henrietta Frock and her family have just moved to the logging town of Jackson Point. A strange new family soon arrives, heralding a string of disappearances. Porcelain dolls bearing the likenesses of those missing begin to appear in the surrounding woods. Henrietta tries to confront the town's demons while keeping her family safe.
In the present, months have passed in Jackson Point without incident. Months in which Treyton Savage has broadcast his story on the internet in the hopes that someone, somewhere, will be able to help him piece together the mysteries of the Elder Gods.
