White Dragon Reborn

Dragon Riders of Vorden #3

by Nita Round

Born an outcast. Forged by dragons. Chosen by destiny.

Kanastya has come a long way from being the outcast from the Haffen swamps. Now she’s the first dragon mage in generations. But power comes with a price.

She’s become the target of the black dragon himself. He can level cities with his sharr’vok death breath, command an army of the walking dead—and he’s hunting Kanastya for something only she her dragon song.

Serving on Vorden’s war council should make her an asset. Instead, her unstable magic threatens to make her a liability. Every spell slips through her hands while her enemy grows stronger.

As the four kingdoms edge towards ruin, Kanastya must uncover the truth behind her magic. She’ll have to return to where it all began—the swamps of Haffen.

Because the final battle won’t just decide the fate of the kindgoms. It will decide the fate of the dragon mage herself.

Truthfully, I love everything that Nita Round does so I have been adoring this series! I thought nothing could be better than the Tower series but the dragons are right there in the running. Kanastya and Aeshin are wonderful characters. So strong and so human at the same time. I love how they are bonded and depend on one another while have very different strengths as a mage and a warrior. The world building is excellent and there are twists around every corner. I didn't want to put it down until I had inhaled the whole book. Now I am patiently waiting for Book 4. I'd suggest reading Books 1 and 2 before grabbing this one.

Hoping there's a follow up to this story.

Just finished book 3. Really enjoyed this story, hard to put down. Well written and great characters. Recommend it and the ending suggests there's more on the way.

Pretty good. The last few chapters felt kind of long though. STILL WAITING FOR KANA AND AESHIN TO KISS THO. Probably won't happen. I don't think I'll read the 4th book, because the synopsis says "Kana is sick again!" and I'm kind of over that schtick. Had fun with the first three books though.

Heroes

Who is the hero in this novel? So many strong characters, it’s hard to choose one. I believe Pappino should have his own series. I bet he would have so many adventures
