A time-traveling holiday romance with crime-boss drama, small-town charm, and a paranormal twist.
When tough, street-smart Karen “Goldie” Maraschino—long-time girlfriend of a rising New York crime boss—comes home early for Thanksgiving, she walks straight into betrayal. Furious and heartbroken, she storms into the snowy streets only to get hit by a car.
Goldie doesn’t wake up in a hospital, but in Sparkledove, Colorado, in 1942! Somehow she’s alive, uninjured, and apparently a magazine writer in a picture-perfect small town straight out of a nostalgic Christmas movie. But Sparkledove is hiding secrets of its eccentric townsfolk, a slow-drawl sheriff with movie-star charm, restless ghosts, and a very real angel watching from the wings.
As Goldie navigates her time shift, she’ll uncover why she was brought here, and what she’s meant to change. Is this a second chance at life? Love? Or something far more dangerous?
A funny, heartfelt, and wonderfully weird holiday tale, perfect for fans of time-slip romance, cozy mysteries, retro Christmas vibes, and offbeat paranormal adventures.
