Dragon's Heir: The Archeologist's Tale

Rate this book
Sixty-five million years ago, they left Earth behind. Now their descendants rule the stars—and a discovery on a distant world threatens everything they built.

Across the galaxy, an ancient and powerful civilization has endured through strict tradition, living memory, and a legacy stretching back to a world they no longer claim. But when a mission uncovers something that should never have survived, old rivalries reignite, hidden truths surface, and the stability of an entire empire begins to fracture.

Far from their seat of power, signs long dismissed as myth begin to appear once more—echoes from the world they abandoned at the dawn of time.

Dragon’s The Archaeologist’s Tale weaves deep-time mystery, interstellar intrigue, and epic science fantasy into a story of origins, destiny, and revelations powerful enough to shake civilizations.

About the author

Glenn Parris

16 books22 followers
Doctor and Author, Glenn Parris, encompasses his own dichotomy: physician by day, his scientific outlook informs his creative work. He writes in the genres of sci-fi, fantasy, and medical mystery. As one of the too few African-American men practicing medicine, his unique perspective makes his writing compelling and makes him an engaging speaker.

Parris is an expert in Afrofuturism. A self-described lifelong sci-fi nerd, his interest in the topic began as a tween before the term Afrofuturism was even coined. As a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, along with Samuel R. Delany, and Neil de Grasse Tyson, he was in good company to have his interests cultivated as can be seen by the broad scope of topics in which he writes.
