Drawing from a background in technology, design, and immersive systems, he writes character-driven stories set against the backdrop of alien signals, ancient mysteries, and humanity’s forgotten potential.

Born in Trinidad and now based in Ontario, Canada, Dayne spends his days designing digital tools, creating experiences, and exploring the strange ideas that eventually became The Genesis Protocol: The Awakening, the first book in his debut series.

Hooked me right from the start and didn’t let go. It’s a real melding of mystery, science, and emotion that feels cinematic and deeply personal at the same time. The world feels lived-in, full of history, hidden truths, and technology just believable enough to make you wonder if it really could exist. I mean, how often do you read a work of sci-fi that so masterfully balances brains and heart? If you enjoy stories that marry rapid action, thoughtful world-building, and real resonant characters, then this is for you.

A sharp, character-driven science fiction story that pulls you in from the first chapter. The characters feel lived-in, and their relationships ground the high-concept ideas in real emotion. The worldbuilding is detailed without slowing the pace, and the reveals are placed with intention. The final cliffhanger lands perfectly, raising the stakes and leaving me genuinely wanting the next book. A compelling start to what deserves to become a full series.

I truly enjoyed the suspense in this book. With each chapter I was wondering what new message the main characters would find while simultaneously worrying about if they’ll make it to the next chapter alive or not! I loved the complexity of the characters and how their different lives intertwined as the book continued. The writing in this book keeps you interested and wanting to know if Kaelin and Dax will succeed and protecting the earth.
