She sets kitchen fires. He puts them out. It’s Love at First Spark.
Bree Kelly, a fire safety scientist, is determined to help her firefighter neighbor, Mitch Strong, overcome his fear of birds, especially the chickens in her backyard, as he deals with her tendency to set kitchen fires.
Mitch qualifies for the cover of a firefighter’s calendar—all heart and speaks before he thinks, while Bree’s fiery temper and intelligence scare men away. Between old movies, tap-dancing, and navigating her experiments, their attraction is inevitable.
But when fire extinguishers are sabotaged, and her company’s inventions go missing, they team up to find the saboteur hiding in plain sight, threatening their safety. As the action heats up, they’re an unstoppable pair, pledging to protect each other and keep the flame burning.
Jump into a smoking-hot adventure that blends a contemporary romantic comedy and suspense, featuring a fearless heroine and a big-hearted hero who fall in Love at First Spark.
I truly LOVE when this author comes out with a new story! The humor leaves you rofl and just cry laughing. This one does not disappoint. We have neighbors that become intertwined due to a ruined breakfast, faulty fire extinguisher, and the way the man and woman meet will leave you just gasping for breath from laughing. The ladies that live in the one house are cousins. One is a scientist the other a chef. They own a family business that concentrates on fire safety materials.
The scientist is very down to business, is a genius, but common sense and forgetfulness, not to mention horrid cooking skills keeps the local firemen busy and on a first name basis. Their new neighbor is one of the new firefighters that happens to meet the scientist in a wild crazy scene that, again, will leave you on the floor. The book contains romance, comedy, mystery, criminal conspiracies and so much more. Trust me…go pick it up and be prepared to be entertained. I cannot wait to read more books in the series.
