When Black women whisper prayers into the cold—broken, tired, longing to feel seen—Saint Dickalos answers. He’s the midnight guardian in the red fur coat, the miracle-maker who brings warmth, release, and hope where the world offers none.
This Christmas, four women call out.
And Dickalos is coming.
A magical, erotic, heart-centered holiday tale that honors the women who carry everything and still stand strong.

Saint Dickalos reimagines holiday magic with a bold twist: Santa’s brother, the “hood Santa,” travels door-to-door granting wishes to Black women facing hardship. Each encounter blends erotic fantasy with miraculous transformation cupboards filled, bills paid, husbands returned home, pregnancies resolved. It’s a holiday erotica that aims to merge spice with empowerment.
Strengths - 🔥 Spicy scenes: The erotic encounters are vividly written, with plenty of descriptive detail for readers seeking heat. - 🎁 Unique premise: The idea of a Black Santa figure granting wishes to women in need is fresh, playful, and socially resonant. - ✨ Holiday magic: The wish-granting element adds a whimsical, fantastical layer that makes the book stand out from typical seasonal erotica.
Challenges - ⚖️ Tone vs. struggle: The women’s hardships financial instability, loneliness, infertility are deeply real. But the immediate pivot to erotic encounters feels disconnected from those struggles. Readers may find it hard to reconcile the gravity of these issues with the sudden intimacy. - 👀 Perspective gap: The narrative sometimes reads as though imagined from outside the lived experience of women in crisis. While the intent is uplifting, the execution can feel more fantastical than emotionally authentic. - 🌀 Wish fulfillment vs. realism: The magical resolutions are satisfying in theory, but the setup occasionally undermines believability.
Verdict Saint Dickalos is best approached as fantasy erotica with a holiday twist. If you’re here for spice, you’ll find plenty of it the scenes are hot, playful, and unapologetically bold. But if you’re looking for realism in how women navigate struggle, the premise may feel mismatched. Still, the book’s originality and unapologetic celebration of Black women as the center of holiday magic make it a distinctive seasonal read.
Saint Dickalos is a sensual, emotional, and beautifully intentional story that centers the quiet struggles Black women carry every day. Each woman’s story feels honest and familiar, and Dickalos shows up with exactly what they’ve been missing: recognition, softness, and a moment to finally feel seen. The erotic moments have purpose, woven with care and heart. If you want a short, magical holiday read that honors Black women with tenderness and heat, this book is absolutely worth it.
As many black women as there are in the situation of feeling forgotten, alone, forced to carry everything on our shoulders, this man would never get a rest... LOL... But let me get down to my big bay window in the living room and start making my wishes so that a sexy, low hung, man in denim and Timbs shows up at my door to make me feel like a natural woman and take all my worries away. I'll be right back.
YALLLLL I BEEN GLUED TO THIS STORY SINCE I OPEN THE BOOK!!!!! I have read the authors other writing style and really enjoyed it! BUT HE REALLY ATE WITH THIS ONE! I need some Christmas spirit tooo lol such a good quick read!!!!
Loved it. In the quiet of night, the tears and silent prayers are heard. The whispered heartache that women carry alone is finally being answered. If Saint Dickalos was as real as Saint Nick no woman would ever feel alone at that one special time of the year. The call is heard and answered in this beautiful story.
DNF @ 44%. I’m not feeling the premise as much as I thought I might and I also don’t like the writing style very much. I can’t connect with the characters or their short short backstories nor can I suspend disbelief that women in 2025 are opening their door after midnight for a big burly man that they don’t know when there’s no man in the house, especially if there’s kids inside too.
Oh how I wish this story was TRUE! I enjoyed reading this book. It made me feel seen as a single struggling mama. I think every woman deserves some form of a Saint Dickalos in her life, even if it’s from simple reading this book.
Saint Dickalos was an unexpected but good read. If I lived in Bookland I wouldn’t mind a visit from him myself. He brings peace and release to women in need during the holiday season.
This was a fun novella to read. I’ll be looking for the brother in a red charger on 12/24 lol. Cinnamon and pine will forever be a trigger in my mind regarding the infamous Saint Dickalos lolll.
Saint Dikalous was Saint Nick’s twin brother we never heard about. He travels through the night fulfilling hidden holiday wishes. This is a steamy short story we’ve never heard and I enjoyed every story. Will definitely be checking out more of this authors catalog!
These were some great stories to read dickalos really Kade their wishes come true and then some they got down to business dickalos really put it on them and give them their wishes at the same time that was crazy
This was an interesting read. Definitely more fantasy erotica. Surprisingly it did hold my interest if you're looking for some things spicy and a black man laying pipe for women to have a merry Christmas this is for you. 🤣🤣
