Reputable fine art broker Sophie Graystone has a knack for acquiring one-of-a-kind artifacts. A seasoned professional, she marches to the beat of her own drum and takes direction from no one.
Lt. Dagan “Rebel” Caldwell, ex-Army Ranger and investigator for Alpha Four, is driven by an iron will to succeed and is talented in the ability to convince others to conform. He soon learns that he has met his match in one certain female.
Assigned to investigate several attempted thefts of Sophie’s paintings, Rebel’s skill and talent are sorely tested when Sophie challenges him at every turn, aggravating and arousing him in the process. Desperate to get his man, Rebel uses her rebellion as a secret weapon, hoping to win her heart in the process.
well i must say that these book left me in really surprising good way, these reeks of Kristen Ashley Dream Man/ Rock chick series vibe it was good and i must say that it help my thirst of one of my favorite writers so it was surprisingly love the hole lest pretend and then we just cant say no to keep on what we started.
Rebel & Sophie´s story it the great intro to the follow up books that come, it was well writen and a good cure for my dry spell of Kristen Asley´s books, thta being said, it short with a ok plot and a good way to relax and read good love making , then read on and enjoy.
This was a very good short read. The characters interacted well with each other, it had suspense and really hot guys. The story flowed very nicely from one page to another. I did find a few spelling errors and that does throw me for a few and I have to re-read what I already did because of the error but not everyone is perfect and I take that into consideration.
Sophie Graystone works in the art business. She owns own art studio called Treasure Me, which had a reputable business, on that made getting an almost impossible artifact possible. She was very proud of her accomplishments. She also is the daughter of a Senator. Senator Greystone and that brings it's own headaches at times. She was taking her last find out to her car and she was attacked. Luckily she knew how to defend herself and the attacker didn't expect to get hit between the legs or a broken nose, so the attacker ran off while calling her a very naughty word. Her dad the senator decided she needed a bodyguard and called on a very reputable company that does security or mainly anything they are paid to do. This is where the hot men come into play. Gotta love suspense and hot men and sexual attraction between the main character girl and the main guy. It's Rebel's job to find out who attacks Sophia.
Rebel is Sophia's "Bodyguard" per say. He really wants to be more. He has a sexual attraction to her in a real bad way...Luckily Sophia has that same attraction to him and throughout the book, it's kind of a cat and mouse chase. They kiss and start getting hot and heavy and then stop. It's a steamy relationship and Sophia is very independent and makes Rebel earn his money. Besides the few spelling errors I did come across, the story wasn't bad at all. I read it in one sitting and laughed a lot. I did figure out who the culprit was really early in the book. It didn't take long to figure out who was the bad guy. It was way too easy if you ask me. I do like a book that keeps me guessing on who the bad guy/girl is and this sure didn't keep me guessing. This is why I am giving it four stars. Besides those couple issues, I did enjoy the story. Would definitely read more from this author in the future if I get the chance.

The name of the series Alpha Four just says it all. Right away we are introduced to the men of Alpha Four. Four tall former military who all appear to be VERY Alpha.
The main characters in this book are Sophie Graystone and Dagan Caldwell. Their relationship literally goes from zero two sixty in the course of 100 pages. The story is told primarily from the point of view of Sophie and Dagan but we get introduced to the supporting cast whom I can only assume will be involved in the rest of the series. The chemistry is off the charts between Dagan and Sophie from their first meeting. If the pages could have caught on fire in my e-reader they would have.
The plot of the story was introduced in the beginning of the book, and because of this I believe it helped to speed the story up. Just like many stories you still wonder want will happen when everything is all wrapped up nice and clean, but unlike other stories this book didn’t drag it out for 50 or 60 pages too long. With that being said, Treasure Me was short for my tastes but still an amazing read none the less.
As far as I am concerned a fairy tale is where I like to live when reading a book. Yes they may not always be realistic but sometimes that is the best part. Treasure Me made me fall right back into that head spinning heart swooning place that I love to be when reading a book, and because I that I give it a Lovely Rose rating. I will definitely be looking forward to the next book in the series.
Treasure Me is a short story, full of suspense and attraction. I am not, normally a fan of falling in love right after you meet, but I feel the author did a great job at keeping the best balance possible for this plot considering the length of the story she had to work with.
Sophie runs an art shop where she purchases high-priced pieces of art for buyers. Her father is a political power house so when she was assaulted at an auction, her father calls in the Alpha 4 to protect his daughter. Rebel is the sexy beast in charge of making sure she is okay while the other men will scope out her best friends to make sure they had nothing to do with the assault. I say this because I think we are seeing the possibility of future books.
This was a quick read, kept my attention the whole time and gave us a great mystery as to what the criminal was after, Sophie or the paintings. Rebel and Sophie had some great chemistry yet the author kept everything flowing very well and consistent along with the thrill of figuring out whom was behind the attacks on Sophie.
I was not able to predict the ending on this one; she had me guessing till the truth was discovered. I would recommend this book for a quick afternoon escape, not to intense but certainly not light on the thrill of a good mystery.
I struggled with a rating for this one. I like Mia Dymond. Her stories have some great elements and I usually like the characters. Treasure Me was the same. It's a light, easy, short read. There is a little suspense, characters you want to root for, a supporting group that sets up interest for the rest of the series, and the inevitable HEA.
The challenge I have is that some of the actions are just not believable. You have a group of highly-trained, ex-military, badass protectors. And they leave their charge because she's surely safe in her office alone. Or when the bad guy is able to take something from right under their noses TWICE when the sole reason for their presence is to prevent that from happening. I just don't believe that professionals in this line of work would be that careless.
There are a few typos/issues with the editing, but not so much to distract from the story.
I know what I'm getting with this author. And for that reason, I will keep buying and reading her stuff.
What my book rating means: 1 Star - DNF or wish I wouldn't have read it. 2 Stars - Average. 3 Stars - A Good Book. Enjoyable and would recommend it. 4 Stars - Exceeded expectations. 5 Stars - All time favorite. Would read it again. And again. And again.
Mia Dymond has become one of my go-to authors for quirky action-filled stories, with strong and sassy women and hot sexy alpha men. Treasure Me, the first in Mia's new Alpha Four series, has all of these things going for it. As with all of Mia's books, I enjoyed the story, and liked the characters, but the problem for me here is that, for such a short read, there was just a whole lot going on. The speed with which things happened was unrealistic; the two main characters, Sophie Graystone and Dagan 'Rebel' Caldwell, have known each other for just a few days before declaring their love for each other. The whole 'insta-love' thing is always a hiccup for me, and it just wasn't believable here, because they really know nothing about each other. This being said, the idea of the story is interesting, and I loved, as always, the sidekick characters that will surely, in typical Mia fashion, have the starring roles in the subsequent books in the series.
Although I am only giving Treasure Me 3.5 stars, I like Mia's books and style enough to continue reading whatever she writes, so am looking forward to seeing Kat's and Chaos' story, and recommend this one for Mia's fans.
Do you enjoy a quick read that is filled with attraction at first site, romance, suspense, and one that will keep your attention from beginning to end the pick Treasure Me!! This is a first time read by this author for me and I was not mislead by the sypnosis. I loved that it dealt with artifacts and had romance all into one great refreshing read. With a strong heroine and hero characters this book had plenty of twists to keep you wondering what was in store next. The author wrote both characters to be pleasant and I enjoyed the interaction between these two. Yes you have this ex military man but he also showed that he is equal to Sophie, which i loved!!! Sophie is a hard worker but loves to get into trouble or does it find her? When her father calls in the security team we see tension form as they try to see who is behind trying to go after Sophie. Of course this novel leads to a whole new level. I enjoyed the plot and loved the characters! ! Is there room for another book coming I do believe so with what we saw. I would definitely pick this author up again and read this and other novels by her.
3.5 stars Treasure Me is a quick read with characters that are likeable and you want to see them succeed. There's a bit of suspense, a bit of romance and while I love my military men, I expected more of Rebel. When I read about an ex-military man who's part of a group with Alpha in the name I expect a complete badass, but that's where the character of Rebel disappoints. He was protective, an had the need to control things a bit but no more than Sophie did so it kind of downgraded my opinion of what I expected to be the tough alpha male who is in complete control in order to protect the heroine. As the man hired to keep her safe things happened basically right in front of him that he should have been aware of. I liked Rebel, I really liked him in the beginning but as the book went on I saw less an less of the type of male he was described as early on. All in all the story was pretty good the characters are what lost me along the way.
This is another great book by Mia Dymond. I love her sassy, independent heroines and sexy, alpha heroes. Rebel is part of the Alpha Four team that is called in to help protect Sophie. Alpha Four are ex military men that have a security company. Sophie is an art broker that has been attacked, and someone has tried to steal paintings from her. I love how Sophie challenges Rebel. They are a great couple, in my opinion. This story has mystery and suspense. You don't know who is after the paintings and why until the end. I only wish that I knew what happens next with Rebel and Sophie. Maybe the next book with have some of their story in it. Everyone needs their own "Dark Warrior"! Highly enjoyable short read.
* I received an ARC for an honest review from "Obsessed by Books"*
I really enjoyed this short fun little story. This was the a first for me by this author Mia Dymond. The characters were great, the story was also good and relaxing.
Sophie is an art dealer who likes to collect priceless art. She is attacked at one of the fundraisers by an unknown assailant. Her father is a senator and ask for help from Alpha Four team a military security unit. One of the member's from Alpha Four is hired to protect Sophie. His name is Rebel he is an all sexy alpha male.
Looking forward to the next one. Love the sexy men from Team Alpha Four.
This was the first book I read that was written by Mia Dymond. I really got into this book and was gutted it finished so soon! I loved Sophie because despite her family’s wealth she wasn’t stuck up and completely down to earth. Rebel was amazing! He is completely alpha! I loved how he handled Sophie and the sparks definitely flew when they were together. I felt that they fell in love a little too quickly; everything seemed to move so fast. I loved the suspense and I can’t wait to see what happens next. 4 stars!
I received this ARC for my honest review. This book was short but really good. It had me in suspense for awhile. Sophie Deals wih art when she is attacked, but she manages to scare off the burglar. Sophie calls her dd and meets with him. He gets her body guard named rebel and sparks fly between them. Sophie keeps getting attacked for the paintings, so you think. You don't know who I behind all this. You have to read in order to find out.
I read this book in one sitting, took me about 2 hours. I couldn't put it down and I plan to read all of the books about Alpha four. It was a great plotline. I love the whole bodyguard lover thing. I think this book is worth reading if you want a couple hours of pure enjoyment. I think Mia Dymond is a fun and fantastic author you should all put on your auto buy list. if she writes it you should buy it.
I was gifted thsi book in exchange for an honest review.

I love Mia's work, especially her Seals Inc. series, however, this offering left me incredibly disappointed. It was choppy in a lot of parts, character development left a lot to be desired, the suspense part of it all was weak and the ending of it all was a true let down. Now to explain the extremely low rating. I will never forgive the lack of a condom being used in a sex scene when two characters who barely know each other decide to act upon their lust for one another. There is ALWAYS time in the scene to break one out. Simply asking if she's got it covered will never do. There's far more to worry about out there than an unplanned pregnancy. We as writers have a social responsibility in this day and age to convey the non-fictional realities of story writing, especially when you write the story in present time. I won't give up on her work, and will more than likely download another one of her books, but another in this series will not be one of them.
