They don’t break the rules.
They go where the rules can’t reach.

Former Navy SEAL Pav Morozov survives off the grid in Siberia—invisible, alone, and convinced he's better off dead inside. He disappeared into the frozen wilderness because it was safer than being human and after a life built on violence, it's the only way he knows how to exist.

Until his past kicks down his door.

Guardsmen Security needs the best tracker in Russia to extract a humanitarian medic from a brutal trafficking ring. The mission is get in, get the doctor, get out.

But Dr. Harper Fox isn't leaving without the women she's sworn to protect. Pav agrees. But the extraction goes sideways, their helicopter goes down in hostile territory, and suddenly they're alone in a blizzard with enemies closing in and three days to reach the extraction point.

Hunted. Injured. And running out of time.

Survival depends on Pav's lethal skills and Harper's unbreakable will. But Harper looks at him like he's still worth saving—like he's still alive. And Pav can't remember the last time anyone saw him that way.

The wilderness doesn't forgive mistakes. Neither does falling for someone when you've spent years convincing yourself you don't deserve it.

He was sent to bring her home.
She may be the one who reminds him how to live.

If you're the kind of reader who loves high-stakes romance grounded in real-world research—with damaged military heroes, complex plots, and women who won't be rescued—hello. You're my people.

I write intense, tightly plotted protector romance with covert ops, real-world threats, and hard-won love. My heroes have protection in their bones and loyalty in their hearts. My heroines are smart, self-reliant, and ready to fight—for others, for justice, for love.

Still mad Ripley never got with Hicks? Me too. So I fix that—with heat and redemption.

Theresa Beachman knows how to write romantic suspense. Her latest, “The Tracker,” is just one more example. The book, which begins the new “Rogue Extraction” series, is fantastic.

We meet Harper first. She’s a strong, dedicated woman working as a doctor in a remote clinic in Siberia. She’s been taken by a human trafficking ring and her uncle recruits Pavel Morozov, a former SEAL who has retreated into a solitary life in the wild to find her. He needs someone who can track his niece, and believes Pav is the man for the job.

The action starts almost immediately and doesn’t let up. Rescuing Harper from the facility she and a small group of other women are being held in is just the beginning of the story. A helicopter crash leaves Pav and Harper to trek through the wilderness, making their way to the border and safety while avoiding the men intent on capturing them.

The pace of the story is just relentless. Beachman throws her characters from one dangerous moment to the next, and you feel the sense of immediacy and pressure they are going through. Their journey brings Pav and Harper closer together, but the relationship doesn’t feel rushed, despite the short time frame. And the environment they are in, the frigid wilds of Siberia, feels like a character itself. Beachman’s descriptions of the snow-covered wilderness might actually give you goosebumps.

I fell into this book and didn’t want to stop reading. It’s one of those books that makes you desperate to turn the page, yet you don’t want it to end. Pav and Harper were a perfect match, and the ending, which seemed to set up the series for more adventures, was both satisfying and intriguing. I also loved that there were characters from Beachman’s previous books that made an appearance.

If you are looking for a romantic suspense that gives you action, adventure, danger, thrills, chills (literally in this case), excitement and, most of all, a love story between a strong and resourceful woman and a broken but beautiful man, you have to pick this one up. This new series is off to an incredible start.

Wow! Great start to a series
An amazing actioned packed story set in Russia, that kept me riveted to my chair wondering what was going to happen next.
Ex navy seal, Pav was hired and sent in by Guardian Security to extract humanitarian medic, Dr Harper Fox, who has been kidnapped.
Harper is a strong, feisty, stubborn woman that will not leave behind the rest of the woman that were also taken, but nothing goes to plan and the two find themselves in danger and fighting for their lives as they try to get to freedom.
Pav is a troubled loner who excels at tracking and keeps to himself.
This job has him spending quite a bit of time with Harper as he tries to get her to safety, the closer the two get their feelings start to intensify.
Can something more, come from so much danger?
This is such a great slow burn, action packed story with wonderful characters.
I’m definitely looking forward to reading more of the Rogue Extraction series.
Thank you Theresa Beachman and Booksprout for the opportunity to read this book.

I'd love to give this 10 stars if I could. Wow just Wow. This book was absolutely wonderful. A fast paced book that had it all. Romance, emotion, action and so much suspense.

Tracker Pav was hired by operatives Fox and Zak to find Fox's niece, Harper a doctor who had been kidnapped.

I liked how Pav who was very much a loner, learns to lower his walls for Harper. He needed that.

Not saying much of the story. The writing was what got to be the most. I really enjoyed the dialogue and the rapport that built between Pav and Harper over the time. Very much a slow build connection that was founded on their need to help and trust each other. Both of them bought something different to the relationship that built them up to a pretty substantial team.

Certainly had its emotional moments and heart stopping suspense. This author really brings out and i have to say this one didn't let go from the very start. Definitely the favourite of her books for me.

Tracker is a high-fueled, adrenaline packed rescue romance that will have you on edge.

Pav is your alpha, silent, detached hero who wants nothing more than to be left alone with his pain, and you'll laugh and enjoy watching him get sucked into the rescue. Harper is a strong, independent doctor who refuses to stay quiet when bad things happen, no matter the risk.

When their worlds collide, it happens loudly with deadly mercenary chases, bullets flying, and brutal conditions that test them at every turn. Their attraction simmers slowly but burns hot, and when the walls finally come down, what develops between them is quiet, meaningful, and deep.

I loved how willing Pav is to burn everything down for Harper when she is taken again, finally realizing that love is stronger than the guilt he has carried for so long.

Tracker is a thrilling rescue romance that digs deep while keeping your heart racing.

This story had good characters, danger, suspense, survival, good family and good friends, and it held my attention from start to finish. I really liked that Harper didn't bend, didn't shy away from things and that she stood up for herself and others. The interactions between Pav, Fox and Zak were written well and their first meeting was certainly a memorable one.

I liked not knowing what would happen next, getting to know all the characters, seeing character development and seeing the relationship between Harper and Pav develop. I believed in their connection and chemistry, liked seeing them work together, and seeing their strong sides as well as their vulnerable ones, I hope to see more of them and their relationship during this series.

Thrilling and action packed. Filled with danger and chaos. Pav is sent on a mission to rescue Harper from a trafficking ring. She refuses to leave unless the other women go too. They’re on a helicopter heading for freedom when it crashes. Leaving them stuck in a blizzard. But no worries because Pav and Harper keep each other warm with the fire burning between them. These two were hot and spicy. A story filled with so much. I loved it.

An awesome story. Suspense, action and surviving. Pav is a loner and a former Navy Seal. He is asked by Guardsmen Security, to track down a kidnapped doctor. Harper stuck her nose in a trafficking rings business and was taken. Will Pac save her? Must read.

Harper and Pav. Fitting for each other. No backing down or away. Her heart so big. Her rescue complex even bigger. Pav being asked to help rescue Harper. He's been alone for so long, this is almost a mercy mission to get him out of the cold. He's the best person to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Glad the original crew is coming along with the new.

"This author is one of my new favorites.”

Former Navy Seal Pav Morozov has been hiding out in Siberia. His life consists of tracking and hunting and suffering in silence for years after his brother’s death. His guilt weighs heavy with no end in sight, until Guardian Security finds him. He’s the best tracker around and they need his help finding Dr. Harper Fox. She’s been kidnapped and is being held with a bunch of trafficking victims and she’s not leaving them behind. But nothing goes according to plan when Pav and Harper are forced to go on the run across the frozen wilderness. Pav learns something along the way. He can’t make it without Harper by his side. But will they survive or will the kidnappers keep coming?
"Thank you for writing this story.”
