Robin Artisson has been studying folklore, mythology, and the interior metaphysics of sorcery and traditional witchcraft for over 20 years. His specialty areas of knowledge include spiritual ecology, occult history, herbalism and wortcunning, divination, and soul-flight or trance induction, along with a vocational interest in the extraordinary exploration of the eldritch dimensions of the mind, the soul, and the world.
Based on Artisson’s studies of the Scandinavian Black Books, and particularly the Black Books of Elverum. Don’t be fooled by the relative slimness of this volume, it’s filled with excellent stuff. I shall be looking forward to all future releases by Serpent Hall Press.
Of the many big or small grimoires I have read, this has been the best by far including Louise Huebner’s “Power Through Witchcraft”. As I read in other reviews, truly, do not let the book’s length fool or deceive you.
It really contains so much wisdom and the way it’s written really resonates with my mentality and modern worldview today, which only keeps regenerating or updating each day.
I have constantly suffered from insomnia and this book truly eases spiritual concerns or worries and helps with the aspect of lucid dreaming. Anyone interested in the occult and true Art will benefit from this beautiful and gorgeous “testament to” the Art.
