According to his siblings, Reed Woodman is a grouchy recluse since he came back from serving his country. Living on his mountain, keeping his distance from everyone and anyone. At almost forty, he’s pretty set in his ways.

This is a short book with insta love
When the book starts they have met already,
It’s romantic, safe and the sex scenes are really good. He is a dirty talker

Great quick read
Mayra Statham does short steamy reads really well. While there’s definitely some almost-instalove going on here, the romance doesn’t feel underdeveloped. It’s fun, steamy and swoony. Just the thing for a quick diversion from reality.
Fair warning though, there are a few typos.
I don’t know what Mayra’s beta reader situation is, but I humbly offer to read through any future novellas before publishing. It is a real shame to have the flow of these great reads broken by how many times I have to stop and figure out what was supposed to be written.

What an amazing story about a mountain man, secluded himself where his cabin in, doing his woodwork and living his life. Not needing a lot of people around, until a new neighbor comes along, at first thinking she is more of an annoying person, but soon changes. Join in their journey as they both find themselves together and discover that maybe there’s more to being secluded neighbors. Loved this story.

Loved Reed and Camilla
Reed is one grumpy mountain man until Camilla moves in next door. For some reason he can’t seem to get enough of her, even her horrible singing. He’s fallen in love but can he get this beautiful younger woman to fall for him. I loved this feel good sweet and steamy story. Well written great story and a great HEA.

Fast and smutty but very little substance. Also could have benefited from some editing.
