This is an okay book. The photographs show a wide variety of kitchens both in size, style, and layout however only one view of each kitchen is generally shown so it is often difficult to access their layouts. (Despite over 50 photographs, only a handful of refrigerators are shown.) The book focuses primarily on advice from various designers, chefs and home owners, which includes kitchen design as well as equipment, fixtures and child safety. Unfortunately, I found most of the advice either basic such that I already knew it, or too general given that no layouts or illustrations are provided. I would not recommend you buy this book, but if you are looking for ideas you might find a kitchen style that you would like.
